Reagan woke to a ringtone of The Weekend Whip by the fold blaring through the room.

"Jump up, kick back, whip around and spiiiiiinnnnnn!" It screeched. She heard Lloyd groan and slam his hand on the screen.

"What is it?" He yawned. He listened for a moment before muttering something indecipherable and hanging up.

Reagan got up and hopped off the bed. "OW!" Lloyd grunted as her foot connected with his stomach.

"Sorry!" She quickly stepped off. Reagan shuffled back a bit as he clutched his abdomen and sat up. "Who was that on the phone?"

"Just Jay." He said, getting up.

Reagan turned on her own phone, she had contacted her parents and explained what happened but they were all the way in Careton so they weren't getting anything any time soon. Still she was dissipating end to see an empty screen. She did get a notification saying the school was closed for repairs after being attacked by arachnids.

Reagan got changed in dark jeans and a blue tank. She pulled on a leather jacket and wandered into the kitchen.

Koko was making breakfast and Garmadon was drinking a coffee in pyjamas with little volcanos on them. Reagan was suprised to see Lloyd helping as well. He nodded to Reagan, remaining civil with her but she could tell he would prefer that she wasn't in his house.

She sat, wondering if she should help as well. Lloyd slid a plate across the bar to her. On it were eggs, with their yolks gleaming like suns, and sausages perfectly cooked. Lloyd scrubbed some dishes with a towel beside his mom.

Lloyd had his signature green hoodie on, the hood was down and his green eyes were narrowed as he concentrated on his task. Reagan ate quietly and watched as he leaned close to his mom, whispering in her ear before pulling up his hood and slipping his phone in his pocket.

"Be safe." Koko told him. "Well, safe enough." She kissed him on the cheek, giving her a smile and wiped his cheek and nodded his goodbye to his father. Reagan met his eyes and he gave a slight nod to her as well. Then he left.

Reagan gave a quizzical look at Koko who gave her a smile. "I'll be off to work Garmadon." She told him. "You better get going if you want to go to that job interview."

"Right!" He hopped up and waved goodbye, then went to go get ready.

"What are you up to today?" Koko asked Reagan.

She glanced at her phone. "I'll probably go meet my friends."

"Alright." Koko said goodbye and left the room as well.

Reagan went to brush her teeth and was just putting on her shoes when Garmadon passed her.

"I don't trust you." He murmured to her. His eyes narrowed. "Lloyd hasn't brought anyone new to this house in a long time."

"I'm just here because I needed a place to say and Lloyd offered me one." Reagan retorted. "I won't claim to be close or anything. And I can't say I'm particularly fond of him, nor him fond of me but you better suck it up. I'll be gone soon enough."

He scowled and held the door for her, glaring at her as she left. Reagan shook her head. I can't tell anybody. She thought as she left the building. Not a soul.

"I'm so sorry!" Tania was saying as they ordered smoothies at the Fruit Tree. "I had my ringer turned off last night and-"

"Why did you have your ringer turned off?" Reagan interrupted. Josh gulped.

"I was at a party. At Brock's." Tania said obliviously.

"Oh." Was her only response. Of course. It was okay. They were just busy. They didn't know. Reagan felt a little sad that Brock had turned her down because of a party. Because secretly she had a crush on him.

Josh stopped Tania from paying and handed some carefully calculated money to the cashier. They all began walking to the park.

"So where are you staying?" Tania asked.

Reagan had been expecting this question but she still wasn't prepared. "Er...my... Mom's friend. I managed to contact her and I'm staying at her apartment."

"Okay." Tania breezily replied, not seeming to notice the fib. Josh seemed to focused on Tania to track it down himself.

They talked and chatted for awhile but soon Tania had to leave and Josh offered to walk her home. Reagan was about head towards Lloyd's apartment when she realized she didn't have a key and Garmadon or Koko wouldn't be home for a little while. Sighing Reagan noticed that Koko-who had given her number- had sent her Lloyd's contacts.

Reagan added them in, feeling strange while she did. She remembered the old warehouse that Lloyd had dropped the dragon mech at. She had feeling that he was there. It was a long ways though, across the city and she was not going to go by roof. So she took a bus most if the way and walked the last block.

The warehouse was quite large and appeared abandoned. But Reagan heard a soft clanging noise inside. Reagan found the door and gently pushed it open. Inside she let out a faint gasp. Arcade games lined one wall and giant mechs were parked inside. She saw the ice mech, fire, earth, the water strider mech, the Lightning jet, and the green dragon. Laying on his back under the jet was someone in a black and green ninja suit.

Reagan inched closer. But her footsteps weren't stealthy enough to fool a ninja.

"Is that you again Jay?" Said the set of legs leaking out from under it. She heard a clang and a muffled ow. "Why does this always happen? I'm trying to fix what you broke and I-" he wheeled out from under the jet and helped when he saw Reagan.

"What are you doing here?" Lloyd asked. Reagan couldn't help but notice that shine in his green eyes and the way his heart was slightly mussed, and Reagan found herself noticing how his features were quite handsome.

"Well?" He broke her out of her thoughts.

"Don't have a key." Reagan said. "Can't get into the apartment."

He reached in his pocket and threw a house key in a key ring to her. "There, problem solved."

Reagan fumbled with it and it clattered to the floor. Lloyd laughed. "That was almost as bad as my catches used to be." He moved backwards to the jet.

Reagan bent to pick up the keys. "What are you working on?"

Lloyd tapped the wing with a wrench. "Jay was going on a 'patrol' and crashed into a rock face-the idiot. He burned out the energy source he uses to shoot electricity and there's a few other things he broke." Lloyd causally popped up a panel and began taking whatever it was that was inside.

"This...is pretty impressive." Reagan said grudgingly.

Lloyd raised an eyebrow. "Hm." He grunted.

"How'd you get these mechs anyway?" Reagan asked, her voice coming out slightly more bossy then she intended.

"Annnd she's back," Lloyd sighed bending low to get something underneath. "I built them."

"You what?" Reagan cried incredulously.

"It's not a big deal." Lloyd mumbled, sliding under again.

Reagan crouched so he could see her. "Not a big deal? They're is amazing!"

He laughed. "What?" Reagan asked defensively.

"Just yesterday not you or any of your friends would bother to give me any sort of complement, unless evil, Garmadork, and weirdo are kind things to say." Lloyd told her sarcastically.

Reagan didn't respond. "You should be getting home." Lloyd then told her abruptly. "Mom or dad will be back soon, and you have the keys."

"Oh...okay. What about you?" Reagan found herself asking.

"I'll be there late." Then Lloyd pulled himself farther under the jet. Reagan shook her head, obviously not wanted, as she left she passed the other ninja who all froze and backed against the doorway. Staring at her wide eyed. Reagan ignored them and sped out the door. She saw Jay leaning out and peering at her.

Kai and Cole had run inside and she could hear Zane's fleeting words. "I believe that Reagan was talking to Lloyd."
