Shadow had never been the one going out downtown and hanging out with friends on Halloween night. He was usually in bed by 9, his back hurting by morning and his red eyes tired and his house littered with candy wrappers and such, which irritated the male to extreme levels.

Seeing that name...
It made him feel warm inside for some strange reason , like his heart had taken a ride onto a rollar coaster and it didn't want to get off.

He agreed to the dumb party, even though he didn't feel like going . His mind raced as he visited the Halloween store, looking for anything he can find.

There was a skeleton outfit that he didn't quite feel right about and a ghost outfit that just looked like a sheet with 2 black dots scribbled onto the delicate sheet.

" Hey sir, what about this one ? " It was a bunny costume with pink ears and white , fluffy insides . The costume had spots of colors on the arms , while the main color was a light pink.

" Do you really think I'd wear that ? " Shadow asked the male, his gaze narrowed in questioning the fox that dared asked him that dumb question.

" It's half off ,all the other costumes are $40-50 . "

" Really !? "

" Their full seats , this one is only $15 as nobody seems to want it and everyone wants to get rid of it. "

Shadow grumbled as he had only brought a $20 with him, expecting the prices to be lower.

" I guess I'll take it..."

Shadow arrived at the meeting place, a small café entitled " Sunshine Biscuits " and entered the place. He seemed so out of place wearing the ugly bunny costume and when he saw Camilla wearing a candy corn witch costume, his heart stopped.

Her curves were very highlighted in the dress as she had pulled her hair up into a ponytail. She glanced and smiled, waving to the male in the bunny outfit.

" You look so cute ~ " Camilla had said, her eyes sparkling as she glanced at the male's costume.

" It was half off.. " Shadow trailed, he didn't quite know how to finish the sentence as no one has ever called him cute before.

Wait..

He heard a male's voice interrupt his thoughts as he squinted at the male and that just walked in...

Shadow never really felt a connection with the player and always hated his antics. The fox glanced darkly over at Shadow and then chirped.

" Hey Camilla sugar , how's it going ? "

Camilla only have a small smile in response as she held her gaze with the male for a quick second before turning back towards the group.

" Let's head out shall we ? "

" What about the rest of the people ..? " Shadow asked , he didn't know why he felt so nervous and something in his mind told him something bad would happen.

" Lily is busy with work , " Stanley responded, Shadow didn't know why that sounded like such a blatant lie.

" Then it's just us three ! " Camilla chirped as she stepped outside and the two males followed after her.

They were walking on a small road leading to some place where Camilla wanted to show them.

Stanley grabbed the male's shoulder as Camilla wasn't paying attention and snarled gross words into his ears.

" She's mine , understand ? " and Stanley trotted his way up to Camilla and started talking to her, his voice loud and boisterous as Camilla seemed to nod once in a while, she would turn her gaze back and notice the quiet male, his hands in his pockets as he kicked some stones out in front of him.

" Excuse me Stanley , " Camilla broke away from the conversation as the male was in mid speech. Camilla slightly skimmed Shadow's costume, which probably would've sent a shiver up his spine if he felt it.

" Shadow , are you alright . " She responded, her voice serious as she placed a hand on the costume's ugly looking fur.

" I'm positive I'm alright , " Shadow responded , his eyes infront of him, he knew that Stanley was trying to listen in on the conversation and he kept his eyes peeled.
" Why don't you go out and talk to Stanley more and have fun ? "

" Because, I invited you here for a reason too, not just Stanley , " her lips had a wide smirk on them as she said it and she knew he heard it when his left ear twitched in annoyance .

Camilla leaned over and gave Shadow a small kiss on his cheek, while Stanley had glared over his shoulder... Moreso at Camilla then him.

She trotted back towards Stanley, who continued where he left off before Camilla had talked to Shadow.

Shadow felt his cheek a bit after Camilla had left, his heart beating loudly in his chest like a drum a toddler would beat over and over again.

In the middle of the pathway, Stanley turned towards Camilla and grabbed her hands, she shivered at the touch and didn't say anything.

" Camilla , if you asked me, I would leave Lily for you . "

" Are — "

" I'm serious, I love you a lot and I don't want to be apart . "

Camilla didn't say anything expect by yanking her hands out of Stanley's clutches.

" Look Stan, I prefer you as a friend. " Her voice was was like iron, sturdy and strong. Her gaze steady as she glanced into the furious eyes of Stanley.

" You're a player Stan, how can I trust you with my love ? " She moved over towards Shadow and placed her hands onto his shoulders and moved them in a massaging way.

" What are you saying — I'll change myself — "

" No need as I don't love you back . " Camilla turned towards Shadow, her eyes closing a bit as she leaned in, her lips brushing with his for a quick second; his eyes were open in fear as his face heated up. She landed a kiss on his rough lips, hers were soft and warm and he felt a warm feeling after she moved away; she turned away from Shadow and faced Staney who had an angry expression on his face.

" Anyways , let's just have a good time . "
