"I just don't get why we have to watch these!" Robby complained from Mollys couch as Molly made microwave popcorn in her kitchen.

Molly bent her knees so she could see Robby through her kitchen island and smiled. "You don't have to watch them, but it's pretty sad that you haven't seen them."

The microwave beeped and Molly jumped, turning around to the appliance. Robby laughed at Molly and turned back to the TV that was opened to the Netflix movie To All The Boys I've Loved Before.

As Molly poured popcorn into one big bowl, she continued her rant. "I mean... Everybody talked about to all the boys." Molly said.

She walked back towards the living room and plopped down on the couch directly beside Robby. Sure, there was room for her not to be right beside him, but they were sharing a bowl of popcorn so she had to sit closer to him.

"Didn't everyone hate that movie?" Robby asked, grabbing a handful of the hot popcorn as Molly brought her feet onto the couch and her knees to her chest. "That's Kissing Booth. Everyone loved this one."

Robby let out a sarcastic "oh, duh", earning a whack on the arm from Molly. Robby laughed, turning to Molly beside him, who was holding back her own laugh.

Molly grabbed a handful of popcorn as she leaned forward to grab the remote from the coffee table in front of her. She pressed play and leaned back into the couch, eating her popcorn as the movie started to play.

...

The two were silent for most of the movie, beside the occasional laughs, and Mollys snarky comments told Gen when she'd appear on screen.

Robby was actually paying attention to the movie. Molly talked so highly of it he decided to give it a real shot.

Despite all of this, the movie seemed unrealistic to him. The thought had been circling his mind since the beginning of the movie, but he didn't speak out on it until Lara Jean found out Peter spent the night in Gen's room during the ski trip.

Throughout the whole movie, Lara Jean had been so emotional when it came to Peter, he didn't understand it. "I thinking know why I haven't watched any of these." Robby admitted. Molly turned her head, her eyebrows raised slightly as she completely disregarded the movie.

Robby kept his eyes on the movie though, a distasteful look on his face as he ate another handful of popcorn and shook his head. "It's unrealistic. No one feels that emotional when they're in love."

Molly turned to the television then back to Robby. There was a small pang in her chest, Robby's words insulting her a little. "Have you ever been in love?" She asked. Her question was genuine and her voice was soft, almost hesitant to speak.

Robby slowly turned to Molly, his judgmental features towards the movie softening when he looked at Molly. Very gently—almost unnoticeably—Robby shook his head. "No."

Molly pursed her lips and nodded her head. She turned back to the tv again as she watched Lara Jeans sadness. Her eyes twitched a little at the familiarity. She felt the same way, probably worse than Lara Jean did. Molly pulled her lips together and sighed. "I felt like this."

Her voice was so quiet, Robby almost didn't hear her. His eyebrows furrowed as Molly gave him an embarrassed smile and shrugged her shoulders.

"After Hawk broke up with me, I almost didn't go to the All Valley because it hurt too much. And when I got back home that night after our celebratory dinner, I almost passed out from how hard I was crying."

Molly kept her eyes on the television, ignoring the way she feels his eyes linger on her. Robby's eyes look to his lap guiltily.

"I loved him." Molly admitted. She felt a weight lift off her shoulders at her words and Robby lifted his head to look back up at her. Molly finally turned back to Robby with glossy eyes and a fake smile. "All those feelings they have in the movies are accurate. And I hope one day, you get to feel all the good feelings that come with falling in love."

Robby's eyes stayed glued on Molly. She felt a small tug in her stomach, a gut feeling telling her to keep her eyes on Robby, but she felt to vulnerable. Robby's eyes reading her every action. Even after Molly turned back to the movie, Robby kept his eyes on her. Yes, everything Molly said registered in his brain, and yes, it was all emotional and sad, but one piece stuck out to him.

Molly loved Hawk.

Past tense.

Robby's eyes stay on Molly, the girl now too engrossed with the movie to notice the boys stares. If Molly didn't love Hawk anymore, was there a chance Molly could start loving him?

Molly's legs unknowingly slowly started to fall to the side and onto Robby's lap, her legs getting tired of being pulled to her chest. The Keene boys eyes widen at the girls action. Not knowing what else to do and not wanting Molly to move, Robby moved the blanket that was covering just his legs so it was covering the two of them and placed his arm on the back of the couch behind Molly so she could get more comfortable.

Molly turned to smile at Robby and her heart jumped when her nose almost brushed his. Since Mollys legs were resting on Robby's lap, the two had been sitting a lot closer together than they were at the start of the movie.

Their noses were a mere inch away from touching. It took everything in Molly to hold her eyes back from widening, especially after she heard Robby gasp.

She fought herself to not look down at Robby's lips. Why did she want to look down at Robby's lips so bad?

"Thanks." Molly managed to get out, a nervous smile gracing her face. Too nervous with these new feelings that have started to surface in the past couple of days, Molly turned back to the television before Robby could respond.

She tried to pay attention to the movie after that, but she couldn't. All Molly could think about was Robby.

Robby is right next to you.

His leg is against your legs.

HIS ARM IS AROUND YOUR SHOULDERS.

Molly's mind was racing and she had to force her eyes to stay on the tv instead of the boy beside her. When Robby's arm fell from the back of the couch to rest completely on Molly's shoulders, Molly's heart jumped and butterflies started to swarm in her stomach.

Molly grabbed a handful of popcorn and brought the snack to her lips as the realization started to set in. The whole point of starting a fake relationship was to win Hawk back not fall for the boy she was fake dating.

She silently groaned, throwing her head back, forgetting that Robby's arm was behind her head. This was not how their plan was supposed to go.

Robby turned his head at the feeling of Molly rest her head on his arm. He rubbed her shoulder and looked down at her with a concerned look. "You okay?"

Molly looked up to Robby. Their faces were further now, but still so close. Her face was practically in the crook of his neck and her face was so close to his, she could notice small details on his face she didn't notice before.

How there are small specs of brown in his bright green eyes.

Like the dust of faint freckles spread across his face because of the LA Valleys sun.

How his nose was a little red from a sunburn.

Mollys eyes continued trialing down his face, taking in everything about the boy she's never noticed before.

His lips weren't chapped.

Molly suddenly felt the urge to lean forward and kiss him.

Her eyes widened just barely; Robby couldn't even see it. She looked away from Robby's lips as soon as the thought entered her mind. Her eyes met his again and he immediately smiled.

The butterflies came back again, ten times stronger and Molly sighed. God, he was attractive.

Molly smiled back up at Robby, feeling accepting and acknowledging the butterflies in her stomach. "Yeah." Molly whispered. Her voice cracked with uncertainty and she cleared her throat. "Yeah, I'm perfect."
