Hanayo Pov

"It's nothing complicated. I don't know what gotten into you guys." Nico sighed.

"Maki and I have just gotten very close. That's it. The end."

We nodded.

"I think it's great that Maki-chan and Nico-chan have gotten so close." I commented.

"That is true." Eli added.

"See, I don't know why you guys got so worked up." Nico muttered.

"Hai hai." Nozomi.

"It's getting late." Umi.

"We should go soon." Honoka.

Therest nodded.

"Let's go then nyan~!" Rin.

We picked up our bags.

"You coming?" Eli to Nico.

"I think I will stay for a while more."

"Okay then."

We walked out, biding our farewell to Nico as we did.

Nico Pov

I stared at the red head once the rest have left.

"This is all my fault." I said.

"I should have stopped you. Taken care of you."

"I'm so stupid."

"How can I call myself your lover if I couldn't even take care of you?" (a/n I know this is what you have been waiting for ;) it is a yuri after all c: )

"You have to be okay, okay?"

"You have to be."

I let the tears roll down and stain my skirt with tears as I held on to her hand.

It was cold and soft.

"I love your hands."

"Your sweet soft hands."

"I miss your touch."

"Why am I crying?

"I'm such an idiot."

"I love you, Maki-chan."

Something started to beep. I looked up, panicked.

I pressed the button to call a nurse, wiping my tears. Doctors and nurses came rushing in. I stood aside, watching.

"Her temperature is rising."

"Her heartbeat is faint."

"Nurse, ice packs."

"Here you go, doctor."

"We need to bring down her fever."

"Temperature check."

"43 and rising sir."

I stood there and watch the crowd of people in white in front of me. Watching, thoughts kept running through my head. My heart was beating fast.

"Nurse injection."

"Yes doctor."

"Check."

"40 and lowering sir."

"Good. Keep her iced."

"Yes sir."

"Check."

"38 sir."

"We hasve passed danger zone sir."

"Very well."

I heaved a sigh of relief.

Maki is going to be okay.

I told myself and I kept repeating to myself.

Maki Pov (at the same time.)

What's this? My whole body feels hot. I'm starting to sweat. It hurts. I hear someone's voice. It was faint and I could hardly hear anything.

Someone is holding my hand. It feels like Nico.

Nico.

Are you balming yoirself?

This isn't yoir fault at all. Of only I've listened.

I felt my body heating up. I felt many people crowding arond me. Panicked voices. Something stung me. I'm guessing it the injection again. There was another. I felt my body cool down, not entirely but it felt much better.

The doctors and nurses left. And Nico returned.

She was crying.

Why are you crying, idiot?

Stop crying.

I struggled to wake up. It was like being in underwater,  swimming up but there was an anchor holding you down. The most frustrating thing was that the surface is just that close.

I can hear her voice clearly now.

"Maki...."

She was crying.

"I was so scared."

Me too.

"You are alright now right?"

I hope.

"Please don't do that again."

Well, don't say it as if I planned it.

"Maki? Did you say something? Of course not, I must be dreaming."

What?! Nico heard me? Maybe this anchor isn't as strong as I thought.

"I miss you."

It's only been a few hours.

"I know but....wait..."

wait.....did she just....

"Maki?!" her voice boomed.

I'm here. Jeez there isn't a need to shout.

"Whatever." She paused "Are you awake?"

Now I tried to move my body and open my eyes.

"Maki! Maki! Your finger it moved!"

Wow don't need to put it like that. You make me sound dead.

"Oh Maki, I can't hear what you are saying but your mouth is moving!"

"This is great. I should call the doctors."

I've totally broken free of the anchor. I opened my eyes and reached out to grab the small little girl's wrist.

She turned. Her eyes doubled.
