Dry spots on the land were like heaven too me. Each step of sand would either sink into my shoe or get into my eyes making them water a bit. Link was having no trouble with the sand, must be because he's tougher than iron.

But, the mostly annoying thing about this dessert were these small creatures with holes for mouths and would jump out of the sand from nowhere. One got on my shoulder and gripped it hard enough making Link have to rip it off my shoulder.

It was hurting like hell as another one latched onto me again. "Augh get it off!"

"I'm trying! Just hold still!" He locked his knees in and tugged at the creature.

I gritted my teeth in pain as the sucker finally came off. It rip a gash in my skin making my eyes sting a little from the pain. "Crap... it hurts a lot..."

"Don't worry." He got some milk out from his pouch. "Just drink some of this. I put medicine inside it."

The milk tasted bitter as he wrapped up my shoulder with some paper. Blood soaked through slowly as I hug him quickly. "Thanks."

"You're welcome." He turned his head so I couldn't see his face.

"Why are you not looking at me?"

"I'm just looking around, that's all."

I knew it was a lie but didn't press him into telling more. "Alright then... let's get going, night is going to fall soon."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The dessert never seemed to be ending as each step of the way I was getting tired. Link soon transformed into a wolf to make sure I wouldn't get attack by those creatures again which was sweet of him. The moon came up soon as out of the corner of my eye I spotted a huge object in the distance.
I grabbed Link's ear gently and made him look at the direction. "Go over there, I think that's something we need."
He barked in agreement and ran over it too. He transformed into his human form as he helped me climb up the huge ledges. By the looks of it looked to be the bridge of Eldin. Midna came out and tilted her head. "What is this thing?"
"The bridge of Eldin." Deep down I knew it was. "Let's take it back to where it was."
Midna nodded as she used her Twli powers to lift it from the ground. It shook the ground as it slowly came out of the rock. We put it back in its rightful place.
"There, now people can cross it."
"That's great and all... but we have to keep going." Midna tried not to sound rude, but failed.
I didn't hold it back for her and held onto Link as we came back to the dessert. Cold air blasted into me as I shivered. "You know... for a dessert it's pretty cold."
"Here," Link handed me a small cloak. "Put this on it should help."
A small smile spread across my face as I wrapped it around me. "You know, you just go out of your way to help me."
"I-I do?"
"Yeah... Thanks for taking care of me."
"Y-You're welcome..." Link whispered softly, something I've never seen him do before.
"Are you okay?" I questioned, feeling worried about his health.
"I'm fine alright? Let's just get going, I don't want to sleep in this hell hole."
"Right."
In the distance tall wooden station looked out could be seen along with a small campfire in the distance. Link and I bend down so we couldn't be seen. "I'll take the two of them out."
Link nodded and took a step back. The Bow of Time quickly gave me an arrow as I pulled back and aimed at the one on the left. It shot him in the head as the other one jumped back in shock, but not for long as I got it in the neck. They both disappeared in darkness and we quickly made are way there.
I must have not seen the one in the tower as a fire arrow came towards me. Without a word Link blocked it and killed it with his arrow. A slight fear washed over me as I sighed in relief. "That was close..."
"How do we cross?"
The way to the prison as blocked off by tall wooden gates. The boars stood there eating there food as an idea popped into my mind. "Get on with me, we're riding a piggy!"
Link's eyes widen in fear as he got on first. "You're not driving, because if you get hurt I'll feel bad."
"But," I sighed in defeat and climbed on, "Let's go."
Link nodded and snapped the reins. The boar squealed and took off wildly. I screamed and held onto Link tightly as he grabbed onto the boar for life as well. It broke the gates with ease, but when it suddenly stopped I scream and fell forward, luckily Link caught me in time.
"Are you alright?" He shook slightly.
"Y-yeah..." If my senses were correct the golden wolf, Shade, was nearby. "Let's go up more, the wolf is back."
Link nodded and walked as I slightly limped behind him. The golden wolf was just standing there in the sand, his glowing eye in the dark scared me a bit but I knew he wouldn't hurt me. Link took out his sword just when Shade 'attacked' him.
I waited for a bright light, but nothing came. "What's going on...?"
The wind picked up as a faded Shade came out. "I do not know why you can't come in... something inside your soul is making you unable to come..."
"Do you know what it is?"
"Something dark... like evil... it's inside deep of your soul and the Sacred Realm will not allow evil to enter into its bane."
Fear rose inside me. "What?! Evil?!"
"I believe it's the curse... coming back too you... strange things of illusion will come towards you and only you can see it... if the hero and you have a strong bond, he as well, can see the illusion but will not be affected by it."
"Wait, what does Link have to do with this?"
"I do not know... but it will happen... Link is finished with training.... may the goddesses protect you both..."
As Shade disappeared a bright light took form as Link came from it. He blinked around and shook his head. "Ugh... that will never seem to stop happening..."
"Yeah," I played along, "Never does."
Night seemed to go by pretty fast as the sun rose. "Let's get going."
Link nodded as both he and I looked off in the hellish sand. When entering around the other corner I made him stop, taking out my arrow, and striking the monster in the wooden station. It fell forward as Link gave me a thumbs up.
A small blush formed in my cheek as I cursed to myself, this wasn't the time to get distracted. Walking up towards it I could tell it was ancient by the way the bricks were stacked and held together. Pieces were fallen off as walls looked to be mini windows at times.
Inside their were camp of more of those monsters as I shot the ones in the look outs while Link had my back and killed the one charging towards us.
"Arg! These guys are annoying!" I said and shot another one down.
"Yes," Link huffed and stabbed one through the rib cage, "They are, but we can't let these things drag us down."
"That's the courage spirit!"
The smell of meat entered into my nose as I followed it and found a roasted boar. At first, I was disgusted they ate their own boars, but when I tried it... it was heaven. Greed took over me as I started eating it down fast.
"(y/n)! What are you doing?!" Link sounded angry as he shook my shoulder.
"Sorry! Try some of this!"
Link looked at his disgusted. "Eating animal? No thanks."
"Oh look!" I tore off the side of the meat protecting the heart, "Theirs's it's heart!"
"(Y/N) KNOCK IT OFF!"
I laughed and ate the piece of meat. "Sorry."
He sighed and led me to the place where the silver key unlocked a door. For it being daylight it was dreadfully dark inside. In the light a boar was barely see able as I went over towards it, but a low growl stopped me. The growl stepped into the light as it was one of those monster, but only bigger and uglier.
"(y/n) watch out!" Link shoved me away in time before the monster could slam its axe inside me, but it got instead Link as he was slammed backwards.
"Link!" I cried and went towards him, but the monster roared at me as I staggered backwards and fell back, slightly scared.
"Just stay their!" Link called out dodging the axe, rolling around the monster, and stabbing into its back.
The monster gave out a last cry of pain before falling forwards and, unlike the rest, he got up and limped away. The thought of them disappearing got me wondering... where do they go... to hell? Somewhere else? Maybe they don't die, they just take a slow time coming back...
Suddenly out of nowhere fire lit up the place as it was spreading like wildfire. The boar smelled the smoke and got up quickly. "Quick!" I yelled and ran towards it, "Escape with the meat! I mean boar!"
Link nodded and got on first, he snapped the rein and the boar was panicking, making things harder for it to control. I tucked my head as it charged through all the wooden gates, the cries were loud enough to make me wince in pain.
The temples entrance was right there for us as he disembark the boar. It relaxed and soon went to graze for food. Without a thought in his mind Link when up towards the entrance, but I stopped him.
"Link... do you think I'm evil?"
At that he stopped and face me. "Why would you think that?"
"I-I don't know... just a thought I had."
"Well don't listen to anyone who says you are. If they do them let me know and I'll tell them off. You're the nicest person I've ever met, I doubt you could be evil."
I felt tears coming on but held them back. "Thanks, Link."
He smiled and ruffled my hair. "Not a problem. I'll see you after the temple."
The temple called of death as he entered into it like a true hero, one with courage. With a deep breath I entered the temple as a bright white light came over me. Blinking through it I saw I wasn't in the Scared Realm...
"Welcome to my home. Make yourself comfortable, goddess."
