EP.117|Monster Fights and Double Trouble?

CJ, Ben, and Mal ran thru the jungle, still being chased the spotted black bear.

“What’s wrong with this island?!” Mal yelled, running as fast as her feet could carry her.

“I’ve never seen animals like this! It’s like a whole new species!” Ben replied, the trio finally stopping for a breather.

“I think...we lost him…” Mal breathed heavily. “I’m sick of running! We’ve been running for hours!” CJ groaned.

“Well, it’s either we run or get eaten by the spotted bear!” Ben flung his hands in the air. CJ’s growled, clutching her sword.

“When I was younger my father used to tell me that running is for wimps” CJ’s sword began to get coated in a particles

“and I’m not a wimp! I will do anything to save Carlos,” the sword was inches away from his neck “even if it means slaying a spotted black bear!”

“C-CJ!” Ben stammered. “What?” she asked, obviously annoyed. Ben timidly raised his hand and pointed behind her.

CJ slowly turned around to see the spotted black bear. Ben began to run until Mal and CJ pulled him back.

“Listen up bear! You’ve made us run for hours, and I hate running! So now, you’re gonna do the running.” CJ and Mal smirked wickedly.

The bear lunged for CJ and Mal, both quickly jumped up, dodging the bear. CJ collected dust in her hand and a spins it around and it forms a disk.

After collecting enough dust, CJ then spins the disk in her hand and then throws it at the bear “Iron Sand: slash!”

The bear roared in pain when the dust disc hit it’s back. This only made the bear more angry, it got up and lunged for Mal. “Demonic Illusion: Flower Bomb!”

Mal trapped the bear in a flower bud, a purple mist began to fill the inside of the bud, making the bear confused.

“Steel Release: Claws!”

Ben couldn't see much thru the smoke but he couldn't have sworn he’d seen two animal figures instead of just one.

Once the dust cleared it reveal a girl with She was a relatively slim and tall woman with short black hair, green eyes, with two tufts pointing upwards.

She wore a pink, v-neck t-shirt that exposes her stomach with a black spider on it beneath a black jacket with pink lines running down the sleeves that has a collar with wing-like cuffs.

She also wears a yellow beaded necklace, pants that have a giraffe-like pattern, and a belt with a white cardigan tied around it.

She also wears white shoes and has painted fingernails.

“Sorry about this big guy,” the woman pressed her foot on the spotted black bear “he needs to learn so more manners.”

“Thanks, but we had it under control.” Ben told her. “From what I saw, you didn’t.” she scoffed “you almost got eaten by a bear.”

“It’s not a bear,” Ben rolled his eyes “I don't know what it is, or what kind of species this is , but it isn't a bear.”

“So what do you call it then?” she asked smugly. “Well it’s definitely not a bear. What bear has spots?” Ben said, pointing to the spots on the bear.

“A bear on this island, look, if you can't handle this then get out of my way.” she scoffed, pushing Ben, the woman began to walk away.

“Aren’t you coming?” She asked. “Why would we follow you?” Ben answered smugly, Mal covered his mouth.

“Don't mind him, he’s stupid, we’ve never got to thank you for saving us.” Mal thanked.

“You welcome kid.” She smiled, her CJ and Mal walking ahead.

Ben looked at the bear on the ground, giant slash marks on his stomach.

He looked at little bit close to see green ooze seeping out of it.

“What the hell?” he touched it slightly, making the bear groan in pain.

“Sorry,” Ben muttered. “I don't know what they do to animals on this island, but I promise I’ll find out soon and fix it.”

Ben took out a small test tube and filled it with the green ooze and closed it.

“Ben! You coming?” Mal called out as Ben caught up to them. “We never got your name.” CJ pointed out.

She turned around and smiled, “My name is Velvet Cane.”

Carlos hanged for the ceiling, he hated being like this.

He tried to wiggle out of the chains but that just made the tighter.

“That isn't gonna work.” Tyrock sighed. “Well, it has to work!” Carlos said, still trying to get free.

“Why can't you just accept the fact this won't work. You can't save us Carlos.” Tyrock shook his head.

“I know you’ve been super depressed ever since they took Snowball, but we’re gonna get her back.” Carlos promised him.

“Sure we are Carlos.” Tyrock scoffed.

“It’s the truth! I promised I save all of you.” Carlos promised. “I’ll believe it when I see it, Carlos.”

Meanwhile, the VK’s were finally able to get thru the barrier, with the help of Velvet Cane that is.

“You all might want to be on guard,” Velvet warned them “this island, it’s different from the other ones.”

“How? Well, other than the giant tree and the barrier, it seems like a normal island.” Evie said, Velvet sighed, she was about to continue until a loud roar was heard from behind.

The VK’s slowly turned around to see a enormous alligator with a flattened body.

“RUN!!!!” Ranee yelled as the VK’s began to run like their lives depended on it.

As they were running for their lives, Velvet noticed the fallen over tree.

“Everyone hold on!” Velvet yelled as a metal ball formed around them, slingshot them to a safer location.

“I think we’re safe.” Freddie guessed, Velvet looked up to see a massive praying mantis running towards the flattened alligator.

Velvet tackled the group, moving them out of the way.

The group looked back at the scene to see the flattened alligator was getting strangled by a enormous land walking squid with blue dots.

Velvet and Ranee watch in horror as the VK’s began to cheer on some animals.

“YEAH! Kick his ass squid!!!” Hunter cheered.

“Come on Mantis!” Freddie cheered. “You got this alligator! WO!” Jasper yelled.

The mantis then slashed its arms at the squid and alligator, both animals groaned in pain.

“YEAH! Let’s go mantis!” Operetta cheered as the alligator and squid fell to the ground. “YEAH!” Freddie and Operetta high five.

“You might not want to celebrate just yet.” Evie pointed to the large a black bear with white stripes on its body and long arms.

The most notable features of the striped bear are its massive and powerful arms and its cute face.

“Run mantis!” Freddie yelled. Velvet sighed, and leaned against the tree. These kids are hopeless…

The striped bear wrapped his large arms around the mantis, giving him one giant F-Five! “OH!!!” The VK’s yelled, the bear turned around to see the group.

The bear ran on all fours towards them. “HOLY CRAP!!” the group yelled, Ranee stood in front of them.

A metal blade she grabbed out her shoe and thru in the air, allowing it to float.

“Steel Release: Blade Dance!” Ranee yelled, the blade began to move on it’s own, slicing and dicing the bear.

Soon, the bear fell to the floor, Ranee’s blade shrunk to a hair pin and stuck it in her blue hair.

Ranee sighed and looked at the bear’s green ooze that was dripping from it.

“I told you, this island isn't like the others.”
