EP.50|I See Shadows In The Room

Freddie walked down the dark hallway, it was only lit by ballet shoes on the walls with a purple soul flame lit formed into wings behind the shoes. “Cool.” Freddie chuckled as she reached a purple door, in front of it was 5 rows of tiles.

Freddie tapped the tip of her toe on the first tile making it light purple. “Oh, I see.” Freddie smiled as she started dancing on the tiles, dodging all of the boobytraps, finally reaching the door. “Cool, dance trap.” Freddie said, opening the door. “Thanks, I thought it be a good idea.” A voice thanked, Freddie knew that voice. “Mom? Acadia?” Freddie asked as she turned around to see her mother.

“Mom!” Freddie cried. “Greetings, Freddie.” Acadie smiled, hugging her daughter. “I missed you!” Freddie sobbed into her chest. “I missed you too darling.” Acadia smiled. “But, how are you here?” Freddie asked. “That book you have, the one that says Spirits of the Dead. Is one of the Ancient Pillar weapons. To keep the island alive and keep all the Villains on the Villain Isle alive I put my soul in the book.” Arcadia explained.

“So you had no choice?” Freddie asked, her voice breaking. “I didn’t want to leave you, honestly, you were just so cute and small. I wanted to see you grow up, but I couldn’t, I couldn’t face telling you and your father that I had to leave so I had to fake my death.” Acadia explained. “Oh...for me entire life I kept thinking that the Silver Cross Murderer, who is my boyfriend, killed you.” Freddie stated.

“Wait, you mean to tell me your dating the man who committed murder?” Acadia asked. “Yes.” Freddie answered, sweatdropped. “And who is your boyfriend exactly?” Acadia questioned. “Zeref Aidoneus.” Freddie replied. “Oh…my...gods! I owe Hades 20 jewels!” Acadia sighed.

“Woah, woah, woah, you and Hades betted on me and Zeref getting together?!” Freddie yelled. “Yeah, anyways, that’s not important. The important thing is that you two are together.” Acadia smiled. “I guess…” Freddie muttered. “What’s wrong?” Acadia asked. “Zeref got a letter last week from Hades, he wants to meet me…” Freddie buried her head in her arms.

“So? What’s the problem? Hades is a great guy.” Acadia said. “Yeah, but that was when you guys were my age. I’ve never met Hades. What if he doesn't like me? What if he thinks I’m not good enough for Zeref?” Freddie started to panic a bit. “Look, Hades is gonna love you, just be yourself. Don't do what I did when Facilier introduced me to his friends.” Acadia chuckled. “What happened that day  anyways? Dad says it was an “interesting” day.”

“2 weeks after we started dating was also the day he introduced me to his friends.” Acadia narrated.

“Why are you staring at me like that?” Acadia asked, laying down in her bed with Facilier. “Your just so pretty.” Facilier smiled as Acadia blushed a little. “Shut up.” She muttered into her pillow. “Aww, you so cute blushing.” Facilier gushed, poking Acadia’s cheeks, he could tell the red in her cheeks were darkening. “Stop it.” Acadia muttered again.

“Admit it, you like it when I flatter you.” Facilier chuckled, hugging Acadia. “Okay...maybe a little…” Acadia chuckled. “Told ya.” Facilier smirked, kissing Acadia’s shoulder making her wince a bit in pain. Facilier looked at her shoulder to see she still had bruises from when her boss would beat her at the bar.

“I’m sorry…” Facilier muttered. “Don't be, there was nothing you could do then.” Acadia said, facing him. “He still shouldn't have done that to you though.” Facilier sighed, holding onto her hand. “I know he shouldn’t have, but he did, it’s in the past Facilier. We can rewrite the past. All we can do now is focus on the future. And my future is you.” Acadia smiled, kissing her boyfriend.

“You really mean that?” Facilier asked. “Of course.” Acadia chuckled, kissing his forehead. “You’re amazing you know.” Facilier chuckled. “I know.” Acadia smiled widely as Facilier pinned her to the bed, her beautiful scarlet hair fanned out.

“You’re so beautiful.” Facilier smirked making Acadia laugh. “I know.” She repeated, the two sharing a passionate kiss. They two continued kissing until the phone rang. “Ugh…” Facilier groaned as he parted the kiss. “Who’s calling?” Acadia asked. “Alex.” Facilier said picking up the phone, Alex’s face appearing on the screen.

“Morning you two.” Alex smiled. “Morning, you do know it’s super early here, why are you calling?” Facilier groaned. “I know, but I really don't care, you know the boss is pretty pissed you quit.” Alex informed them. “I could care less.” Acadia chuckled. “Wow, brave one aren’t we, you run off with a boy and you turn into an entire different person.” Alex laughed. “That’s Acadia for you.” A voice in the background chuckled. “Alex? Who is that?” Facilier asked. “Nobody…” Alex trailed off.

“Hi Acadia!” The voice greeted coming into the picture. “Peggy!” Acadia smiled. “Why is my best friend at Alex’s house?” Acadia asked. “We’re dating.” Peggy smiled widely, making Acadia spit out the water she was drinking. “Huh?!” Acadia yelled.

“Yeah, the day after you left I came to the bar looking for you. Nobody was there except Alex, he said you ran off with Facilier. Honestly, I was surprised, you running off with a boy you just met. Doesn't seem like you. Alex explained the whole thing and me and him really hit it off. We also got kinda drunk and hooked up with each other, but that’s not the point.” Peggy explained. “Wow.” Acadia said.

“I’m surprised Alex even got you to say yes to being his girlfriend.” Facilier chuckled. “Hey!” Alex scolded. “We have to get going. I got work.” Alex said as the called ended. “Finally, I thought they never go away.” Facilier smirked, gabbing Acadia by the waist and pulling her down.

“Now, where were we?” Facilier smirk grew, but before he could kiss Acadia the phone rung again. “Again!? I swear to the gods if it’s Alex again I’m blocking his ass.” Facilier growled as he looked at his phone to see Hades was calling. “Shit.” He muttered under his breath. “What’s wrong?” Acadia asked.

“One of my best friends is calling.” Facilier answered. “So. What’s the problem?” Acadia asked. “They don't know about us.” Facilier replied. “So, do you not what them to know about us?” Acadia asked, raising her eyebrow. “No, that’s not it. It’s jus-” But before he could answer Acadia snatched the phone and answered the call.

“Hi.” She smiled. “Hey Facilier, have you seen m- who are you?” Hades asked. “I’m Acadia.” Acadia introduced. “What have you done with my best friend?!” Hades yelled making Acadia laugh. “He’s right here.” Acadia moved the phone getting Facilier in the picture. “So, I was gonna start off with; where have you been the past two weeks. But now I’ll go with; WHO THE HECK IS SHE?!” Hades yelled his hair turning into fire. “Simmer down human fireball.” A voice in the background said, coming into the picture.

“I will not calm down Persephone! This girl may have kidnapped him for all we know!” Hades yelled making Persephone roll her eyes. “Does she look like a person who would kidnap him, or anyone for that fact?” Persephone asked. “No but-” Suddenly, somebody took the phone. “Honestly Hades, you’re scaring the poor girl.” The purple haired girl scolded. “Sorry for him, I’m Maleficent, Malley for short. So, your the reason our little shadow man ran off huh? I could see why.” Maleficent chuckled.

“RAN OFF?!” Hades yelled. “You mean to tell me he ran away from us for a girl?! And didn’t tell us?!” A voice yelled, this time it sounded male. “Gaston it’s not a big deal. He ran off for love, it’s completely fine in my book.” A girl said, grabbing the phone. “I get it Esther, but, he still should've told us.” Gaston said, drinking some juice. “Stop pestering the boy.” Jafar chuckled. “You support him?” Hades asked. “Sure. I mean he obviously has a good reason.” Dante said. “Not you to, Dante.” Hades groaned.

“You shouldn’t be talking, ou ran off to earth for Persephone cause of her whole spring thing.” Hexiciah smirked. “Hex got a point, I mean I could see why Facilier ran off.” Cruella smield. “You aren’t seeing the point here. He RAN AWAY from us.” Hades flung his arms in the air. “For a good reason.” Phantom said.

“And a girl counts as a good reason?” Hades asked. “Yeah, I mean I ran away from my ship for Hook.” Nikita said. “No, you did it cause one Darlene told you to go with him, and two, you wanted to go!” Hades defended. “And what’s to say Facilier wanted to go with her?” Hook smirked. “Shut up Hook! Okay, I give up! Fine, I guess you had a good reason to run off. You should at least visit us so we can see this “Acadia” in person.” Hades scoffed.

“Fine, we’ll visit this afternoon. Goodbye.” Facilier chuckled hanging up. “So these are my friends.” Facilier sighed. “They’re funny.” Acadia chuckled. “What?” Facilier asked. “Yeah, they’re really funny.” Acadia answered. “Wow, none of my other girlfriends ever thought about my friends. They always think they're weird.” Facilier said. “I’m not like other girls, Facilier.” Acadia whispered.

Facilier flipped Acadia over, she was now under him. “Now, I can finally make out with my girlfriend.” Facilier chuckled, kissing Acadia, when the phone rang again. “You gonna answer that?” Acadia asked.  “Nope.” Facilier quickly pressed the decline button and put his phone on vibrate. “Finally, no interruptions.” Facilier smirked.

“Wow. That was frickin amazing!” Acadia breathed heavily. “I know, I can’t believe we did that 3 times.” Facilier chuckled, Acadia getting out of bed. “Where are you going? We don't have to meet my friends till noon.” Facilier asked. “To take a shower.” Acadia said. “Care to join me?” Acadia smirked as Facilier got up and picked her up. “Love to.” Facilier smirked.

“Ahh~that was wonderful.” Acadia sighed in delight. “We got dirty and clean at the same time.” Facilier chuckled, the two getting dress. “Do you think your friends like me?” Acadia asked. “They’ll love you.” Facilier assured her. “You sure?” Acadia asked as Facilier nodded, the two heading out the hotel and towards the train.

Soon as the train started moving Facilier got sick. “Ugh…” Facilier groaned. “You wanna lay down on my lap?” Acadia chuckled as Facilier nodded, laying his head on her lap. “I hate trains…” Facilier muttered. “You’ll be fine, it’s only for an hour.” Acadia whispered making Facilier smiled.

“Sweet, sweet ground!” Facilier paised, kissing the ground. “It’s not like we were driving thru hell.” Acadia rolled her eyes as they walked thru town. “This brings back memories.” Facilier chuckled. “There’s the clubhouse.” Facilier pointed to the blue clubhouse with a dragon symbol on it.

“What’s with the dragon symbol?” Acadia asked. “The dragon is cause of Maleficent. She was the one who decided we should build the clubhouse, plus, it was to her little sister. She died cause of some Dragon Slaying Prince. So in memory of her we chose the dragon as our symbol.” Facilier explained as they reached the door to the clubhouse.

“Ready?” Facilier questioned as Acadia nodded. Facilier knocked on the door as Hades opened it. “Facilier!” Hades immediately hugged Facilier tightly. “Hello... to you too,... Hades.” Facilier struggled to say thru the hug. “Hades...I need...to breathe!” Facilier said as Hades let him go. “Hades, this is Acadia.” Facilier introduced as Hades looked at Acadia, getting close to her face. “H-Hi.” Acadia greeted.

This is the god of the underworld? I think he hates me! Acadia thought as Hades kept staring at her. “U-um…” Acadia stammered. “So, you the Acadia from the letters huh?” Hades asked as Acadia nodded quickly. Hades then looked at Facilier and back at Acadia. “Welcome to the club.” Hades smiled, hugging Acadia. “Thanks.” Acadia chuckled, the trio walking inside.

“Guys, this is Acadia.” Hades introduced as Acadia waved. “She’s a lot taller than Facilier described her in the letters.” Cruella observed. “She’s just saying that cause Cruella’s the shortest one here.” Dante chuckled. “Well no wonder Facilier ran off with you. You’re so cute.” Esther gushed, pinching Acadia cheeks.

“That’s true.” Facilier agreed. “So, you just run off for 2 weeks and not even give us a warning? I expect that form Jafar or Hades but not you Facilier.” Gaston chuckled, slinging his arm over. “Hey! I at least warned by brothers that I would be going to earth.” Hades yelled. “And how exactly did you do that?” Hex asked smugly. “Okay, shut up.” Hades muttered. “So, Facilier says your one of the greatest dances he’s ever seen.” Hook stated.

“That’s really an overstatement.” Acadia rubbed the back of her neck nervously. “She’s just too modest.” Facilier said, sitting next to her on the couch. “I’m not, Rositia is the best dance in the world. Not me.” Acadia corrected. “Ballerina’s right.” Jafar said. “Ballerina?” Acadia mouthed. “That’s like saying I’m the best snake charmer in the world. Or saying Maleficent is the best dragon sorceress of all time. It’s an overstatement.” Jafar compared as Maleficent glared at him.

“I am the best dragon sorceress of all time. Not a overstatement, it’s a fact.” Maleficent smirked. “Really? Then why are you behind Merlin in Top Sorcerer/Sorceress of All Time?” Nikita smugly asked, passing the magazine to Maleficent. “WHAT!?!?!” Maleficent yelled. “Damn bearded freak!” Maleficent growled. “I’m better than that man anyways, I don't need a stupid magazine to prove that.” Maleficent scoffed. “They why do we have a dart board with a picture of Merlin’s face on it?” Persephone smirked.

“I calms be down when I throw darts at Merlins ugly old face!” Mal yelled throwing a dart coated in fire at the dart board the picture burn to a crisp. “Okay, did you ever go see that doctor about your anger issues Malley?” Phantom asked. “Pfft, “anger issues” you sound like the doctor; Maleficent we need to work on your “abandonment issues” and “difficulty to communicate with your mother.” like I have those issues.” Maleficent scoffed.

“Okay, she scares me.” Acadia whispered to Cruella. “She’s not all that bad, she just has some anger issues she doesn't care to admit.” Cruella whispered back. Acadia then noticed the small chalkboard next to the dart board with everyone’s names on it. “What’s that?” Acadia asked. “Oh, it’s our leaderboard for out dart throwing games. Sadly, I suck, hence why I’m at the bottom.” Dante shortly explained.

“I’m in Hex is in 3rd place, I’m in second, and Gaston is in first.” Esther said. “He’s that good huh?” Acadia asked. “I’m not just good, I’m the greatest. I’ve beaten everyone in this room.” Gaston gloated. “Boastful, aren’t we.” Acadia chuckled. “Excuse me?” Gaston asked. “You say your the greatest cause you beaten everybody in this room.” Acadia stated. “What’s your point, Ballerina?” Gaston asked getting close to her face.

“You haven’t beaten me.” Acadia smirked. “I can beat you in seconds flat.” Gaston scoffed. “I’d like to see you try.” Acadia’s smirk grew. “Oh, I don't think you do.” Gaston chuckled. “Bring it on, Beast Killer.” Acadia glared at him. “Hades, set up the board.” Gaston said, not looking away from Acadia.

Hexiciah passed both of them 4 knives. “Knives?” Acadia asked. “Yeah, we play darts a little bit differently.” Gaston smirked. “Watch and learn kid.” a small cloud of red smoke coated the knife, setting the knife on fire. Gaston then threw then knife at the board, the knife was smack dab in the middle. “Beat that.” Gaston smirked grew. “Glady.” Acadia smiled. Acadia then lined up the knife with Gaston’s. Suddenly a small purple cloud coated the knife.

“What the?” Gaston muttered and before he knew it once Acadia threw the knife Acadia’s knife went straight thru Gaston’s and hit the center, only a little bit higher. “I win.” Acadia stuck out her tongue at him.

“Woah, woah, woah, you used magic. That doesn't count.” Gaston said. “Actually, it does. See, the scoreboard also says how that person one. Most of yours say that the you used a fire spell. Which gives me all the right to use a Go-Thru spell.” Acadia explained. “Fine, I guess you win.” Gaston muttered.

As the day went on, the small party continued. “Hey Hades.” Acadia called out. “Yeah?” Hades asked. “5 jewels says I can beat you in a drinking contest.” Acadia smirked. “Ha, you’re on.” Hades smirked. “Pick a bottle.” Hades said as he opened the cooler to reveal at least 20 different types of liquors.

“Shadow Amethyst.” Acadia said pouring into two cup sized shot glasses. “You sure about this Hades? Remember the last time you drank Shadow Amethyst. You were throwing up a storm.” Hook reminded him. “I’ll be fine.” Hades assured him. “I’m the god of the underworld, I can handle a little liquor.” Hades added. “Yes but this isn't normal liquor, it’s stronger.” Hex warned him. “You sure you wanna do this Hades? Last chance to back out.” Acadia smirked.

“No way, hand me the shot.” Hades said as Acadia passed him the shot glass. “1...2...3...go!” Persephone announced and before they knew it both shot glasses were slammed on the table as quickly as they were picked up. “You two okay?” Maleficent asked. “Yep...perfectly fine…” Acadia groaned. “Are you sure it was Shadow Amethyst?” Esther asked as Hades looked at the bottle closely. “Oh no…” Hades muttered. “What?” Nikita asked as Hades passed her the bottle. “15% Tychrial.” Cruella read as both Acadia and Hades dropped to the floor.

“Where...where am I?” Acadia asked, sitting up. She looked around to see she was in a hospital. “Oh, right. Shadow Amethyst.” Acadia groaned, she was then tackled into a hug. “Acadia!” Facilier gushed, hugging her. “You’re finally awake.” Facilier muttered. “How long have I been out?” Acadia asked. “4 days.” Facilier answered. “I’m never drinking Shadow Amethyst ever again” Acadia chuckled.

She then looked to her left to see Hades was still asleep, Persephone rest her head on the edge of the hospital bed. “Has she been like that all four days?” Acadia asked. “Yeah, she so worried she hasn’t left the hospital.” Facilier sighed as Acadia got up and walked over to her. “Hey Persephone.” Acadia shakes her slightly. “Oh, hi Acadia.” Persephone muttered, she had dark circles around her eyes.

“When was the last time you slept?” Acadia asked. “4 days ago.” Persephone answered. “Go to sleep, Hades would want you to.” Acadia rested her hand on Persephone's shoulder. “No. Not until he wakes up.” Persephone protested. “But you need to sleep.” Acadia said. “What if something happens?” Persephone asked. “It won’t, believe me.” Acadia assured her as Persephone laid down in the hospital bed next to Hades.

“Maybe...just a little nap…” Persephone yawned, snuggling up to Hades’s chest.

Hours passed, and Hades didn’t wake up, until. “Where am I?” Hades groaned he looked around to see he was in a hospital. He then heard slightly snoring. He looked down t see Persephone sleep.

“Hey, your up.” Acadia whispered, trying not to wake the sleeping goddess. “Sorry for everything.” Acadia added. “Nah, it’s fine.” Hades chuckled. “Really?” Acadia asked. “Yeah, I didn’t get to hurt. I know I’ve been though on you. I just wanted to see if your up for the challenge.” Hades said.

“What challenge?” Acadia asked. “Him.” Hades pointed to Facilier, who was sleeping in the empty hospital bed next to Hades’s. “What do you mean?” Acadia questioned. “Facilier isn't like most boys. When me and Persephone started dating, he asked me if he would ever find something like that. He always wanted to have somebody there who cares about him. His parents weren’t much help. And the club and only go so far. But you, man I’ve never seen him more happier in his life.” Hades explained.

“He looks at you with this giant smile on his face that I haven’t seen since we were kids. His eyes light up like they never did before. You mean everything to him Acadia, I just wanna make sure he means everything to you.” Hades added. “Oh course he does.” Acadia smiled. “Good, he needs you Acadia. I know you might not need him now. But one day you will.” Hades smiled, falling asleep next to Persephone.

Acadia looked down to see Freddie was sleeping. “She’s gonna be a greatest Pillar Weapons Holder.” Acadia smiled, kissing her daughter on the forehead.
