EP.92|I’ll Always Love You, Raja

“Where the hell is Raja?!” Jasper yelled, storming into Kianna’s hut.

“This has been happening a lot lately, girls have been disappearing around the Village ever since Lucifer’s men took over the island.” Kianna explained.

“Where do they take them?” Ben asked.

“We don't know, our closest lead is something called “The Box”” Kianna replied. “Well that’s where we’re going!” Jasper announced.

“Oh no way, you go to “The Box” you’re not going back. Even the best warriors fell to the power of “The Box”. But if you wanna risk your life on a suicide mission. By all means, go ahead.” Ramona scoffed.

“Alright, punk!” Jasper pinned Ramona to the wall. “I will risk everything for Raja! And if that means going into “The Box” by myself, I’ll go!” Jasper yelled. “It’s suicide to go alone.” Ramona croaked.

“I don't care! I may have only met Raja today but Raja is like a daughter to me! I can’t let her die in that box place!” Jasper let go of Ramona.

Jasper walked to the door of the hut, then stopped. “Well? Aren’t you coming with?” Jasper asked.

“Jasper, you heard what Ramona said; even the best warriors fall to the power of the box. We wouldn't stand a chance in there.” Carlos said.

“So what! People are dying in that box! We can’t just stand here and let it happen!”

“Who’s coming with?” Jasper asked again, everyone stayed quiet. “Fine! I’ll go alone! Some friends you are!” Jasper slammed the door behind him.

“I don't need them! I can get Raja out of the box myself!” Jasper muttered as he walked deep into the forest.

Raja woke up to the feel of a hard cold floor. “You’re up.” A voice from the darkness observed. “Wh-Who are y-you?” Raja stuttered.

“My name is Olive.” a girl with purple hair and fair skin came into the dull light. “Wh-Where am I?” Raja asked. “The Box” Olive said, lighting a cigarette.

“I-I wanna go home!” Raja sobbed. “Sorry kid, there’s no way out. Cry all you want, it won't change a thing.” Olive let a puff of smoke escape her lips.

“Hey! Stop you’re crying!” One of the guards yelled, throwing Raja against the cell. “Hey! She’s three! Maybe four!” Olive stood in front of Raja.

“Move out of the way Olive!” The guard kicked Olive in the stomach and punched her twice, causing her to fall to the ground.

“You’re coming with me.” The guard picked up Raja by the hair and dragged her out of the cell. “Put me down!!” Raja yelled in pain.

“Stop you’re whining!!” The guard complained as they reached a pair of gold doors.

“Scar!” The guard yelled as the doors opened revealing the cloaked man sitting behind his desk.

“You know that’s not my name.” The cloaked man took off his hood.

“It’s Raymond.”

“Whatever, where do you want the new girl?” The guard asked. “Put her in sector 3.” Raymond said as the guard nodded.

“I said put me down!” Raja yelled, her eyes turning fully white as crystals shot out from her hands. “WOAH!!” Raymond yelled, dodging the crystals.

“You know what, put her in room 1. I wanna see what she can do.” Raymond smirked as the guard nodded, walking out of the office and into a room filled with science stuff.

The guard strapped Raja into a chair. “Let me out! I wanna go home!” Raja squirmed, trying to get out of the chair.

“Stop you’re moving!” The guard yelled as he grabbed a remote and pressed a red button sending a shock thru Raja’s body.

“Where’s the grail kid?” The guard asked. “I-I-I don't know! I-I re-really don't know!” Raja cried, sobbing even harder.

“Please! We don't know!” Raja cried out in pain. The pain felt like knives shooting thru her body. “Just tell me where it is and the pain will stop.” The guard said.

“We don't have the grail!” Raja yelled. “You can deny it all you want. I will get an answer out of you. Even if it takes all day.” The guard threatened, getting close to the 4 year old’s face.

Shivers ran down her spine, she couldn't understand why someone would do this.

Why can’t they understand we don't have the grail? Raja’s eyes were filled with fear.

She then thought back to the day of the attack, a day that will stain her mind forever.

Panic and chaos ran thru the village as people scrambled to get away.

Raja couldn't understand what was happening, the screams of her fellow villagers filled her ears, it was too much of a four year old to take.

“Raja!” Her mother, Dana, yelled, holding Raja’s hand as they ran thru the town. “Wh-What’s happening?” Raja questioned, tears filling her eyes.

“Some very bad people have attacked the village. But we’ll be okay.” her other mother, Autumn, assured her, Raja nodded, trusting in her mother.

Autumn  looked into her daughter’s fear coated eyes, she hated the fact that she had to witness this horror at the age of only four.

Raja and her parents ran for what seemed like miles for Raja until they reached an old brick building with ivy growing on the walls on the outskirts of the village.

It looked like nobody been here in ages. Raja knew that right now was not the time to complain, so she kept her opinions to herself.

The three quickly rushed into the house and locked the door and sealed all the window shut.

Raja could tell her parents were just as worried, maybe even more, than she was.

“Mama? Why are the bad people attacking us?” Raja asked as Dana began putting up a barrier made of translucent crystals around the house.

“Well, the bad people think we have something they want even though we don't. So, they think that if they hurt us we’ll give them what they want” Dana explained, Raja was still confused.

“Hence why men are evil.” Autumn scoffed. “Autumn! Now is not the time to scoff, we’re in serious danger.” Dana scolded, Autumn sighed, she knew Dana was right.

“I know, I know.” Autumn sat on the couch causing dust to emit from the cushions “but if it weren’t for that stupid grail we wouldn't need to flee from our home.”

“Autumn, we had no choice but to flee. We couldn't risk Raja getting hurt. We already lost her brother we can’t lose Raja.” Dana sat next to Autumn, resting her hand on her shoulder.

“I thought you said he ran away?” Raja tilted her head.

“He did. I’ll explain it to you one day.” Autumn placed Raja in her lap. For the first time since this chaos started, Raja felt at peace.

She wasn’t worried about the evil men finding them, she just wanted to enjoy this peaceful moment with her mothers for as long as she could.

The warmth from her parents love made Raja almost forget the chaos that was happening right outside this creaky old house.

Wrapped in Autumn’s arms, she couldn't feel more safe. It was as though Autumn and Dana were the shield of warmth and innocence that kept Raja safe from the cruel reality of the outside world.

That shield of warmth and innocence shattered when the a loud baging came from the door. “Come on out! We know you’re in there!” a loud voice yelled, banging again.

“Dana, hide Raja.” Autumn ordered, passing Raja to Dana. “What about you?” Dana asked worriedly. “I’ll keep up the barrier as long as I can. Just keep Raja safe.” Autumn yelled as she tried to keep the barrier up.

“I’m not leaving you here!” “Dana! Just run!” Autumn yelled as the barrier slowly began shattering. “I can’t leave you!” Dana had tears filling her eyes.

“I’ll be okay! Run!” Autumn yelled as the barrier fully broke and the men swarmed in like an angry swarm of killer bees.

“Get ‘em! Leave no survivors!” a man yelled as they began attack the tree. The men grabbed Autumn and Dana, throwing them against the wall.

“MOMS!!” Raja yelled as one of the men picked her up by her hair. “Put my daughter down!” Autumn yelled, getting up only to be kicked down.

Raja began kicking and screaming. “Where’s the grail?” one of the men demanded, kicking Dana in the stomach.

“We don't have it! Why won’t you understand that?!” Dana groaned in pain, holding her stomach.

“Because you’re lying! Tell us where it is!” another man stepped on Autumn’s back, emitting a painful scream from the girl.

“You men...are just evil!” Autumn yelled, mustering enough strength to kicked the man holding Raja in the shins, causing him to drop Raja

He glared at Autumn “you’re gonna pay for that.” Autumn smirked up at the man. “Try me.” her smirk only grew.

He walked over to Autumn and lifted up her chin, the two looking at each other's cold eyes. They both knew neither of them was backing down.

“You may think you’re though and all, but news flash honey, you’re nothing but a weak little girl with crystals for magic.” He stepped on Autumn’s neck, making it hard for her to breathe.

“Autumn!” Dana cried. “Shut up!” another man threw Dana across the room and into a wall. “Dana!” Autumn cried out.

The man stepping on Autumn’s neck picked her up and slammed her against the wall, still holding her by the neck.

“Tell me where the grail is or you’ll get cut.” the man treated, holding a knife to Autumn’s neck. “Autumn! Please just leave her alone!” Dana yelled.

Raja had just about enough of this truma, anger festered inside her body like a volcano about to erupt.

“So? What’s it gonna be?” the man inched the knife closer. “We don't have the grail!” Autumn yelled, closing her eyes.

And just like that, the man slit Autumns throat, dropping her to the floor. “AUTUMN!!!” Dana screeched in horror, her eyes filled with fear.

Raja was in such a state of shock, she couldn't move a muscles. She just stood there, she wanted to cry, scream, and punch something. All these emotions running thru her body was almost too much to take.

Dana stumbled to her feet with the little strength she had left, standing in front of Raja.

“You men come in here and destroy out village. Kill millions of people. Damage so many homes.” she coughed up some blood “and for what? A hunk of gold--that we don't even have!”

“That hunk of gold is called the Holy Grail! This is used to be the weapon of the 4 Apostles!” the man picked up Dana by the neck.

“I know! And you think we have it?!” Dana coughed up blood. “I guess she’s a dud as well.” the man scoffed as he squeezed Dana’s neck.

“MOM!!!” Raja yelled, Dana looked at her daughter as the light faded from her eyes. The look of fear in Raja’s eyes made Dana’s heart break.

“Raja...please remember…”

“I’ll always love you, Raja…”
