Recap: Graham wakes up in a weird room and is currently looking through some old documents that a certain Doctor gave him to look at.

Graham turned to the next document on the file which turned in to be the psych hospital's documents, with pages and pages observation. Observation about him.

St. Peter's Psychiatric Institution

Patient no.: 347

Name: Graham McCarthy

Age: 14

Observations during psych sessions:

Doesn't seem to be responding. Eyes always closed.

Becomes violent when someone touches him. Starts hitting and scratching. Has learned basic Karate. Better to keep in isolation and call for help during next session.

Responds to his first name 'Graham'. Seems to listen to your words, but his head is down, looking at something held on between his hands. His other hand starts to move of it's own accord, moving with measured moves.

Got up in the middle of session, and walked around the room, talking to a few people whom he called by names. Frequently called people include: Mom, Amy, Jenna, Cam, Tony, Jeremy, Sensei Bob and Liam.

Consumes water normally from the bottle, but food seems to be a problem: eats only the pancakes served for breakfast in the morning. Throws any other meal into the toilet.

Personal hygiene doesn't seem much of a problem.

Diagnosis: A case of Grandiose Delusional Disorder(Psychosis), due to cocaine overdose during childhood, coupled with a case of acute maladaptive daydreaming.

Treatment Methods: Isolation is the best choice. One-on-one sessions may work, but the name Graham must be repeatedly said to catch attention of the patient. Better bring restraints and a guard for help.

Graham closed the file with a thud. His mind swimmed with many unanswered questions. Dr. Grayson's reached out a hand for the file. When he didn't give it to er, she gently tried to pry his hands of the file, but he didn't budge.

"What does Grandiose Delusional Disorder mean?" Graham's voice echoed around the room.

"It's too complicated to explain, G-"

"What does it mean?" He cut her off.

"It's a form of Psychosis. One starts to envision their life in the way they would like their life to be, when their reality is absolutely crumbling. In your case, you envisioned your dead mother and sister alive and well. The rehab specialist told me that once they had started to weane you off, you remembered them. Their dead bodies, the whole messy incident. You used to apparently isolate yourself in your room and cry for hours, crying out for them. But then during meal times, you used to talk to one person in the entire place: Jenna. You and Jenna were apparently best friends. At the age of twelve, you couldn't have been more. But you told many others that she she was your 'girlfriend'. Then you both f-"

"Fought" finished Graham, his mind miles away.

"You remember that?" The doctor sounded excited.

"It happened only day-before-yesterday. Of course I remember!"

"No it didn't! Graham! You have been in the palace of your mind, living your dream life!" the doctor's voice became louder.

"No! The last few days were an absolute night-mare! That wasn't my dream life!" Graham shouted.

"That was because of the anti-psychotic drugs I prescribed so that you can come back to reality!" The doctor burst, standing up from her chair, opened her purse and removed a mirror from it.

"This is you! You are not a twelve-year old child anymore!"

Silence. Absolute stone cold silence.

Graham studied his face with disbelief. His hair was messy, his eyes bloodshot, skin pale and yellowish, signs of facial hair beginning to creep on his cheeks and under his nose.

This isn't a mirror! This looks like one of my elder cousins on my father's side! Graham threw the mirror away, away from him, and it shattered on the wall like Graham's heart did within him.
