*Lucy's P.O.V*

I woke up to my father dragging me down the stairs by my hair. "Ahhh" 

"shut up you worthless b*tch, you haven't made me break feast yet!" My father threw me into the lower cabinets causing a dull throbbing pain in my head. I slowly picked myself up and began making my father's meal. When I finished I ran upstairs and put on a sweatshirt with long sleeves to hide my cuts from last night. When I finished dressing I walked down stairs and started my walk to my new school.... I was early so I just walked to my class to be surprised that I wasn't the only one in the class... that boy from yesterday is sitting at his desk looking tired.. when he spotted me I looked away and quickly tried to walk out of class,only to be stopped by this Natsu guy holding me back by my arm. I gasped and looked back only to see surprise written all over his face, I followed his gaze, only to find out that he sees all the cuts on my arm. 

"Why did you do this to yourself?" He asked with hurt in his eyes. I tried to pull away but he wouldn't lose his grip. 

"Why did you do this?" I looked back up at him and stare him straight in the eyes. 

"I don't have to answer you. Now let me go" Natsu let go with shock written on his face. I run to the roof and stare down at all of the cheerful students talking and playing with their friends. I didn't notice I was crying until I felt drops land in my hand. I quickly wiped the tears away before anyone could see them, but then again, who can see me on the roof? A few minutes pass by and I hear the bell ring.

*Natsu's P.O.V*

Ever since I saw the new girl's cuts all up her arm I froze... and then I started wondering to myself If she could be going through the same thing I am. I could ask her but I don't want to be too persistent... especially after how she reacted when I asked about her scars. Could that be why she is staying isolated from everyone? She must not trust any- before I could continue my train of thought, I heard the teacher call my name 

"Dragneel!" Mr. Guildarts yelled 

"uhhh...yes sir" everyone started laughing besides our teacher. 

"The principal would like to speak with you." 

"OK" I said with nervousness as I got up from my sear and started walking towards the principal's office... one I walked in, Mr. Marcorov was already standing in front of his desk 

"You wanted to see me sir?" I asked not making eye contact. 

"You are aware of our new student right Natsu?" He asked 

"yes...what about her?" I asked finally making eye contact 

"well it seems that she was found up on the roof, cheer her up and show her around. You can even skip school for the rest of the day, if it means you make her feel welcome." 

"Really? Thanks gramps!" I said running out of the room and down the hall bumping into someone. 

"Oh sorry Lisanna, I didn't see you there." I said helping her up from the ground. 

"Oh Its no problem at all. In fact I was just looking for you." She said with a smile 

"oh really? What for?" I asked 

"you still haven't answered my question from yesterday" I looked at her with a curious look 

"you know, I asked if you wanted to go somewhere with me this weekend?" She gave with a sigh 

"oh yea... about that... I'm sorry but it turns out I'm busy... anyway I got to run talk to you later." I ran off down the hall before she could answer. I climbed up the stairs to the roof

*Lucy's P.O.V*

I was staring at the view of the mountains until I heard the creek of the roof door open... when I turn to see who it is, I instantly feel dread as the boy with salmon colored hair walked up to me .... and his next words could never have shocked me more.....
