Feeling her smooth chill palm on his skin he looked upto her , her eyes watched him with some atmost care ...concern and ...?

This sight of her's served a kind of drug for him , an addiction!

A prolonging eyelock followed back ,with both leaving no way rather just falling deep into the other through eyes .

A- careful shivaay !

Her voice seemed to carry a kind of dominance, like she had the whole lot of rights on him . He ,who was still not over from drowning into her hazel orbs blinked twice hearing this and looked aside.

The lift halted between the 3rd and 2nd floor with a thud,

Annika banged the door many times , before getting tired and slinding on one side to sit back , down .

A- oh my god!! What's this now ?

She frowned, while he looked hesitant.

S- you're fine right ?

His mild voice brought an explosion inside her ,this man rarely speaks out what he feels . And she very well knew that he was actually concerned for her now . She jumped from within ,which she smartly hid and played normal . She nodded before answering ,

A- you know shivaay ,I had skipped my breakfast to prepare my tummy for a good heavy lunch . It's Eli's treat today ! Par...

She whined while his eyes widened ,

S- really annika? All you care about is food in a situation like this ,where we have no idea of what's happening ?

A- let me call her atleast, she might help .

She spoke and dialled for eli and shivaay shook his head . He was certainly speaking with her ,and she just acts as though he merely exists. Not wanting to start an arguement ,he stayed quite . But still , he felt relieved. She's back to normal now ! And that's exactly what he wanted , she and silence would be his last preference anytime . Isn't he irritated by her non stop blabberings anymore? He's changing  and poor he is totally unaware of it .

" hey annika ,where are you ? Everyone are here ,and it's only you who had not shown up yet .I had ordered all your favourites from the menu , kahan ho yaar ? "

Poor eli wasn't aware that she was actually adding more fuel in the fire .

A- you idiot , let me speak first. I'm stuck here ,in the elevator. Must be some ,mechanical problem . Run to the management and bring the mechanic first you stupid .

" ani  if it's a prank ,kindly stop it ! You and your silly pranks "

A- you dumbo eli ! Wait ,

She went towards him and kept the mobile near his ear ,and asked him to narrate everything while he glared before obeying her actually.

A- deka ? Now go...do something fast .

She ordered her friend .

"Ohh!! Sorry sorry , don't worry haan . I'll just check what could be done "

It has been past 10 minutes to the accident , and the required work was going on to open the lift which was halfway between two floors. So it was quite a difficult job , as they had to repair the aiding tubes which were damaged too .

He was totally concentrating in finding a way to get out somehow, while she was lost in her land where she would do nothing rather stay quite and capture all his moves ,admiring! She was just seated in one corner , with her eyes traversing on him entirely. He has got some magnetic power which was certainly pulling her towards him . And she loved it too!

If not for this man, then who else ?

Had been trying for a long time ,he stood leaning back with an angry frown which actually looked so cute on him . She smiled a bit before looking away or else she knew how big her smile would wide on if she continues her staring session .

A- what makes you so angry haan ? I'm angry because, I've my lunch waiting out there for me and here, I'm stuck up like this ...my anger is valid and justified. But, what about you ? Have any urgent work ?

She questioned with a serious face and he glared before voicing,

S- I have an important meeting today ,

He answered bluntly,

A- oooo!

She rounded her mouth , and suddenly something caught her attention . It was the small hole on the top in which the fan was fixed , she jumped up planning something.

A- shivaay , can you lift me?

Her words ran quick .

S- what ?

He looked baffled,

A-oh come on,I ain't so heavy.

She pouted ,

S- why should I ?

He shook his head ,

A- you see the hole there , if we pull the fan out . Maybe we could get out through that. Kaise meri idea?

She wriggled her eyebrows continuously, feeling proud of herself while he shook his head before speaking.

S- I agree you are slim figured and you do have a good structure, but for your kind information you have to be an 8 year old kid to get through that .

He replied and faked a wide smile . She was bewildered, did he just speak about her structure ? No ,no ...her good structure!

Suddenly she felt shy ,but tried hard to wipe it off .

He realized , what did he just utter ? Shivaay Singh Oberoi was a person who merely gives a damn to girls ,but wait... what's so special in this woman here that he has started noticing things of which he had no idea before ?

He rubbed his palm on his neck casually, trying to act normal .How drool worthy he looked when he does that!! She adored ,

A- I must have something in my bag , let me check.

She spoke diverting him ,and figured her bag through every nook and corner only to find an halfway melted dairy milk in the last zipper. Her face gleamed bright , she signalled asking if he wanted some for which he shook .

A- thank God you denied! ,I wasn't going to give you anyway .

She shrugged off,

If it was someone else other than her ,he very well knew what would have been his state of mind . To be honest ,he wasn't a patient man . He really does get angry at times ,but true that he likes this too ...likes his new self who somehow copes up with all her behaviour. Indeed, he enjoyed being with her , he won't accept it though .

He watched her totally into her chocolate as she didn't even look at anything rather the brown bar in her hand which was sleaking way down ,melting . Why did he smile watching her to have licked her fingers ? God!

With the place carrying just a little source of light from their mobile flashlights, he could still clearly notice all her baby hairs which somehow hung out from the tightly tied pony .Beautiful !Those tiny strands just couldn't stay back from wandering all through her face to get locked in between her lips soon .

She looked up slowly feeling his fingers on her cheeks . He slowly roped her hair strands around his finger and pulled them way out from her lips . Her toes gripped onto the floor tight ,shrinking all the fingers together. The skin near her cheecks was boiling hot from inside, and she could feel it entirely . How was she supposed to act normal now ? He looked at her keenly before tracing his finger on the chocolate patch above her lips wiping some of her strawberry flavoured gloss along.

Her mouth was filled with chocolate but the only sweetness which she could taste now was from the spot where his fingers played . She closed her eyes and bent down till he completed his work . These tickling feelings erupted more when he did that , making it too difficult for her to cope up with . For a second, she just stayed a carved statue positioned at place. From the very first day ,this man just does things which she knew ever existed within her .

That's exactly the symptoms blooming ,when you have your one and only along . He hardly knew what he was actually doing to her ,

He saw her to be frozen without any movement, he grinned slightly before tucking her hair behind her ear. How kindly innocent she looked ! He was trying to stop his own eyes from checking her out ,naughty one . Just because she had closed her eyes ,had he got all the permission to view out this beauty infront and note down all her breathtaking features?

It was only when she slowly opened her eyes ,he was alarmed . Awkward ! He immediately stood up and moved to his side, while she remained a fish out of water still pondering over his touch which was all enough to bring her an heart attack due to the sudden loud pouncing of the organ .

S- I'm really getting late now ,

He spoke diverting out ,and she smiled but soon her lips paused when they were halfway back after completing that smile as she watched him licking the chocolate in his finger ,casually . Her eyes grew wider watching him doing that ,at the same time she felt proud too . This normal side of him was something which could pop out very rarely , isn't he The Shivaay Singh Oberoi? A man full of attitude? She felt proud of herself that he certainly was ready to be himself when she's along!

After sometime,

A- why are they taking so much time ?

She spoke with a grumpy voice  pulling his attention who was busy with his phone till now . To be honest ,was she really unhappy with this accident ? Nope! This girl is actually enjoying her each moment ,savouring her orbs with the best sight they would ever wish for . Him !

Her trail of thoughts were halted when she found some uneasiness in him , he rubbed his chest continuously and breathed out via his mouth .

She stood and neared him ,

A- what happened shivaay ? you're ok?

She asked in a concerned voice with her hands trying to hold his shoulders hesitantly.

S- I ...I feel suffocated, I can't breathe .

He replied with atmost difficulty and roamed around the place to seek for relief but still his condition was getting worse through each passing second and he could feel it spontaneously.  Annika grew worried , she just kept walking behind him throughout until he leaned back in a corner. 

A- oh god ! Kya karun ? Shivaay ,kuch nahi . Just a ventilation problem, wait ...I...I'll do something. 

She thoroughly felt her stammering words which were out of her control now . Watching him to have been struggling to breathe just shook her apart. Every time he crushed his eyes stressing himself , she could feel her breath halting for a durated span of moments . Her face clearly depicted what was going within her at that instant .

She grabbed his hands and made him stand at the centre, and jumped up above ,punching the fan fixed on top . With further more tries, the small fan fell down revealing the hole opening there. 

A- shivaay look up and take a deep breath, come on.

He followed her instruction to gather some relief soon .

He sighed deep ,and looked by her side to witness her glistening eyes which were watching him with extreme worry .

A- you're ...fine?

She still stammered hard to bring words ,and wriggled her hand which was wounded during the punching process.  He instantly pulled her hand to find the skin pealed out at some spots near her knuckles. He frowned ,

S- ro rahi ho ?

He asked looking into her eyes, while she closed her eyes to retain the tear back inside somehow .

A- you just scared the hell out of me yaar ...chodo ,it's fine now . Kuch nahi hoga tumhe,

She expressed assuring him and turned back sighing . Whatever she had went through the past few minutes made her realize that her feelings for him is not any random thing...it was something else . Like...he's growing in her, imprinted in her deeply. She realized,

Shivaay was about to ask her something when they saw the lights coming back on . And soon the elevator travelled down ,and halted on the 2nd floor . The door opened revealing a bunch a people who stood outside ,her friends, his men , and some more were the from the management. 

Before anyone could react Elizabeth jumped hugging annika ,

E- tum teek ho ?

A- haa haan ,don't worry . I had a great time with my prince !

She giggled and eli smacked her head,

Hearing his harsh voice she looked back ,

S-  this is how to maintain things ? So much carelessness? What if something had happened to us ?

He shouted at the manager , who stood quite with having no answers in return .

S- I ain't going to leave this ,I ( interrupted)

A- shivaay, shivaay . Plss ,don't do anything. It was  just an accident !

She insisted and he disagreed immediately. With alot of arguments  , she somehow convinced him. The manger apologised to them ,

There is never a time or place for  true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing ,throbbing moment💘
