'Attack'

"Here", Manav handed the goons infront of him some money.

"This isn't what you promised us" one of the goons said.

"The rest of your payment depends on if you do my work correctly or not" Manav said, he then handed the goons a photo, "This girl is your target, and remember if you guys get caught--".

"Your name won't come out" the goon assured, taking the photo from Manav's hand, "You never told us what your enmity with this girl is".

"I have no enmity towards her, it's someone else I'm targeting" Manav explained.

"Who?".

"None of your business" Manav snapped, "Just do exactly what I said, and if things go the way I wanted, then the rest of your payment will come to you, fail, then forget anymore money, now leave, the girl's class is about to end and she will out soon, follow her and once she's alone, do what I said".

The goons nodded and walked away from Manav, who now had a sinister smirk on his face.

"How are you going to save Naina from this Seenu?".

After her class, Naina decided to visit the store to grab her and Sameera some things, unaware that the moment she left the classroom, she was being followed by the goons hired by Manav.

Due to her class ending late, by the time Naina was done at the store, the sun had set and the streets were mostly empty as most people had gone home.

Naina stepped out on the dark street, while on the phone with Sameera, "Yeah Sam, I got your peanut butter, stop stressing".

"I'm not stressing, I would have been stressing if you hadn't gotten me the peanut butter" Sameera said into the phone.

"Well I did, so hang up and let me walk to our dorm in peace" Naina said.

"Be careful, it's dark and god knows what type of people come out this time" Sameera warned.

"I'll be fine Sam, I know how to defend myself" Naina assured, "Now hang up".

"Yeah, yeah, bye, walk safe" Sameera said, before hanging up on her best friend.

After Sameera hanged up on her, Naina put her phone in her back pocket and staring walking towards her dorm, after walking for a few minutes, Naina suddenly felt like she was being followed, carefully looking behind her she realised her instinct was right, she was being followed by four dodgy looking men, taking a deep breath, Naina looked ahead of her and started walking faster, while stealthily placing her hand in her purse and grabbing her pepper spray.

The men who were following Naina, realised that Naina had realised they were following her, so after exchanging a look between them, two of them ran and stood infront of Naina, blocking her from walking any further, Naina quickly turned around to walk the other side but she couldn't as the two other men blocked her way.

"What do you want?" Naina asked, trying not to show how afraid she was.

"Nothing much" one of the goons said, "We just want to hurt you".

Naina's eyes went wide in shock when the goon pulled out a pocket knife from his back pocket and took a small step towards her, however before they could hurt her, Naina pulled out her pepper spray from her purse and sprayed it in the eyes of the goon, and before the other men could catch her, Naina pushed the man she sprayed pepper spray on to the floor and took off running.

Naina ran as fast as her legs could take her, looking behind her she realised the remaining three men were running after her, causing Naina to run faster, but while running, her foot got caught on a crack in the footpath causing her to fall to the ground, injuring her hands and knees, and allowing for the men to catch up to her.

"No where to run now" a goon said, giving Naina a sinister smirk.

As the goon lifted his hand up to hurt her, Naina quickly closed her eyes and looked away, realising there was nothing she could do now to save herself, but the pain that Naina was waiting for, never came, confusing her, so she opened her eyes, and immediately she breathed a sigh of relief, seeing an extremely angry Seenu holding the goon's wrist, stopping him from hurting Naina.

Before anyone could say anything, Seenu punched the goon, causing the knife to fall from his hand and on to the floor, he then kicked his chest, causing the goon to fall to the ground, away from Naina.

Seenu then turned to Naina, he forwarded his hand towards her, who gladly put her hand in his and let Seenu pull her up, "Are you okay?" he asked.

"I think so" Naina whispered, in too much shock to understand what just happened.

Seenu looked at Naina, that's when his eyes landed on her bloody hands and knees, "You're not fine".

Hearing the anger in Seenu's voice, caused Naina to look into Seenu's eyes and for a second she was terrified seeing the anger in his eyes, but then she realised the anger wasn't at her, it was for her, he was angry that someone had hurt her.

"Seenu--".

"What the hell are you doing?!" one of the goon interrupted Naina, "So this was your plan all along?".

Both Seenu and Naina looked at the goon in confusion, neither of them knowing what the goon was on about.

"I mean, first you ask us to attack this girl and then you pretend to save her from us, what game are you playing here?".

"What?!" a shocked Seenu asked, wondering what the goon was on about as he had never seen him before in his life.

"Was all this just a plot to become this girl's hero? I mean you could have told us, we wouldn't have scared her this much if all of this was just an act".

Naina looked at the goon and then at Seenu, she didn't know what was happening here, but she couldn't ignore the feeling of dread feeling her heart, had she started to trust the wrong person?

"Are you insane?!" Seenu snapped, holding the collars of the goon, "Why the hell will I tell you to come after Naina?".

The goon shoved Seenu away from him, "You tell us".

Seenu glared at the goons infront of him, it finally dawned on him what was happening here, someone had payed these goons money to make him look bad in Naina's eyes, and Seenu didn't have to think twice to know who it was, but before he dealt with him, he needed to make sure Naina believed that he had nothing to do with his, but when he turned to face her, to his worry, she was no longer standing there.

"Dammit!" Seenu yelled, realising Naina had misunderstood him, the progress they had made in their relationship was now back to zero, all because of one person.

Seenu looked at the goons, "Leave right now, if I see any of you near Naina again, then I swear to god, you are dead".

Without hearing anything from the goons, Seenu turned around and left to find the person who was responsible for Naina getting hurt.

Manav was in the bar, drinking shots when suddenly someone kicked the stool he was sitting on, causing him to fall to the ground.

"What the hell!" an enraged Manav yelled, looking at who kicked him, "Are you insane, Seenu?!".

"You haven't seen my insanity yet, Manav!" Seenu yelled, as Manav stood up and before Seenu could hit him, Manav ended up punching Seenu on his face.

Seenu glared at Manav, he then punched him and without giving Manav another chance, gave him another punch, and another, and another, "She could have gotten seriously hurt because of you!" he yelled, kneeing him in the stomach, "Are you that sick in the head that you will try to kill someone?!".

"I didn't try to kill anyone!" Manav yelled, shoving Seenu away from him.

"Then why did you send the goons after Naina?" Seenu asked.

"I sent them to do exactly what they did Seenu, they were never going to hurt Naina, they were just a way for me to make sure Naina never trusts you" Manav revealed.

"Naina isn't going to believe the words of some low life goons you hired!" Seenu snapped.

"Isn't she?" Manav asked, "And you know what say this time she does believe you, but how many times is that going to happen? Because I assure you Seenu, I'm not going to stop until Naina hates you".

Seenu suddenly started laughing hearing Manav's words, confusing him.

"Have you officially lost your mind?" Manav asked.

"I haven't lost my mind Manav, but clearly you have" Seenu said, "You actually think your hatred is going to win over my love?".

"Hatred is a very powerful emotion Seenu, if the hatred is strong enough, it can destroy everyone in its path" Manav stated.

"But love is much more powerful than hatred Manav, if the love is true then no power in this world can separate two lovers" Seenu retorted.

"Naina doesn't love you" Manav reminded.

"That's what you think" Seenu said, "But I promise you Manav, in three days, Naina herself will confess her love and her trust for me, right infront of the whole college".

"It's stupid to have unrealistic dreams" Manav said.

"This isn't a dream, it's a reality" Seenu stated.

"Fine then, but if in three days Naina doesn't confess her love for you, then you have to stop pursing her, forever" Manav said.

"And if Naina does profess her love to me, you are never to try to harm her again" Seenu said.

Manav smirked, "You have yourself a deal".

Seenu gave Manav a nod, he then punched him in the face, "One last punch for the road".

"Dick!" Manav yelled, wiping the nose from his nose.

"Thank you" Seenu said, before turning around and walking away to figure out how to get Naina to confess her love for him in three days.
