But that also meant destroying the world, which would suck. Grim may have not been too keen on humans, but he liked their food. Especially their liquor.

And destroying the world also probably meant destroying Artemis, and that wasn't gonna happen.

"Screw you!" Grim barked, clearly a master of debate, "You suck!"

Eris spun on her heels, fire burning in her eyes. Playground insults were true way to bring about the wrath of the gods. Her steely gaze fell on Artemis, lips twisting in a scowl.

"That stupid hellhound is supposed to be dead!" Eris snapped, locks of ebony hair flapping in the wind.

"So are you!" Artemis growled, drawing behind Grim when he saw the fury in her face.

"Grimslay, I gave you your chance!" Eris hissed, spitting his name like acid, "You'll regret this!"

"Grimslay?" Hades rasped, lifting his head. Blood dripped down his forehead, spilling off the side of his face. "You're here?"

Grim's breath caught in his throat. He had tried to forget about the broken figure behind Eris. "Dad?"
