Maki Nishikino's POV

"N-nico-chan, w-will y-you b-be m-my g-girlfriend?"

"Of course. In fact, you're already my girlfriend."

I can't believe I said that! That was very hard to say. At least Nico-chan was the only one who heard it.

Stop blushing, Maki! There are many people around here so stop it, will you?!

Calm down, Maki. You're not like that usually.

Argh! Geez. How can I calm down if I'm blushing so hard in public?! I rolled my eyes at myself as if I can do that. I sighed.

There's no point in arguing with myself anymore.

"You okay, Maki? You seem to be having a problem with yourself." I didn't notice that Eli waited for me and Nico-chan and is now walking beside us.

I regained my composure after a while and said to Eli, "Don't mind me, Eli. I just have a little headache that's all."

"What?! A headache?!" I heard Nico-chan exclaimed.

I covered my left ear because that was where Nico-chan was walking. "Geez, Nico-chan. You didn't have to shout in my ear." I said, taking my gaze away from her.

"Eh?! I didn't even shout!" Nico-chan complained. I glared at her. There's no point in arguing with her anymore so I just kept quiet.

Nico Yazawa's POV

Maki-chan didn't say anything after I think, shouted? Well, anyways, I turned my attention to Eli who was walking beside us.

"Hey, Eli, don't be suprised for what I'm gonna say, okay?" I said. Eli looked at me and raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, sure. Go ahead." She replied. I smirked.

"How's your relationship with Nozomi? Good or bad?~" I chimed, using a very innocent voice.

Eli's face became red the moment those words came out of my mouth.

"Huh? W-what are you talking about, Nico?" Eli said. She's still blushing when she said that. Hehe. So, I was right.

I brought out my phone and browsed through my gallery until I found the picture that I wanted to show Eli.

I held up my phone for her to see. I saw that Maki-chan also looked at my phone.

Eli even blushed harder when she saw the picture displayed on my phone. Maki-chan just laughed softly. Aww. That's so cute.

"Since when did you and Nozomi became girlfriends?" Maki-chan asked, a smile forming on her face. Geez, Maki-chan! That killer smile will kill me! Nah. I'm just kidding.

"Keep it a secret, will you? Do you really want to know?" Eli said, in a low voice.

"Of course! Nico wants to know! And I'm sure Maki-chan wants too! Right, Maki-chan?" I said in a cheerful voice.

"Yeah. Just tell us already." Maki-chan said, the smile on her face is still there.

Eli just sighed. "It's ever since school started. That's it." She said.

I was about to say something again but Rin shouted something to us.

"We're here nya~! Walk faster nya~!"

Here? At where? When I looked up, I saw a fastfood in front of us. Ohh. I completely forgot that we're going to eat. I got too distracted from talking to my Maki-chan.

We went inside and ordered food to eat. I sat across Maki-chan at the table we sat on. Honoka, as usual, is chatting with Kotori and Umi. I noticed that Nozomi is giggling softly. I wonder what's up.

Rin and Hanayo, on the other hand, are just eating while talking. Only me and Maki-chan are quiet.

I can't think of anything to say to Maki-chan. I just stared at her all the time.

I caught Maki-chan looking at me and her eyes is piercing through me. (A/N: lol, whut? Hahahaha xD)

"Why are you looking at me?" Maki-chan suddenly said.

"You’re looking at me too aren't you!" I said in response.

"I'm only looking at you because you look at me first!" Maki-chan shot back. I was taken aback. Yeah, of course. I'm looking at her first.

"See! So you WERE looking!" I said, my voice higher than usual. Maki-chan blushed and looked away.

"Yeah, I admit it. I WAS looking at you! What's the problem with looking?!" Maki-chan nearly shouted.
I feel like the other girls are watching us because they got pretty quiet. But I didn't dare to look at their faces.

"Geez. Just forget it." I managed to get out. I heard Nozomi chuckle. Geez. I shouldn't have stared at Maki-chan for too long.
