Third person's POV

The scarlet haired and the raven haired finally reached the rooftop and was greeted by "Kyaaaa~ Nico-chan and Maki-chan are here!"

That caused the two of them to blush furiously. "What's the deal with it anyways? It's not like we like each other that much." The raven haired said, still blushing. Maki, on the other hand, felt a little hurt from what the petite senior said.

"I really didn't expect Maki-chan to have fallen for Nicocchi~ Your age gap is two years apart." The violet haired said, grinning.

"A-age d-doesn't m-matter, Nozomi. A-as l-long as N-nico-chan is here, I'm..." The redhead couldn't continue what she was about to say because she felt her face burn up. Maki then pulled her cap down to cover her blushing face.

Nico smiled secretly when she saw Maki blushing so hard and covering her face with her cap. "You're so cute when you blush, Maki-chan." The raven haired thought, without her noticing that she smiled wide.

"Nico-chan, why are you smiling like an idiot there?" The ginger haired said. That made the petite senior snap back to reality.

"What did you say, Honoka?!" Nico shouted at the ginger haired, angrily. Then she started chasing Honoka around the rooftop.

"I'm sorry, Nico-chan! I won't say you're an idiot again!" Honoka cried, still running. Maki just sighed at the sight of the two girls running. When Nico passed by Maki, the redhead grabbed Nico by the back of Nico's shirt.

"Hey! That hurt, Maki-chan!" The raven haired exclaimed when she fell down on the floor because of the sudden pull by the redhead.

Maki just sighed. "I did that because you were running like an idiot chasing Honoka. Geez. You're already 17 years old and you're still acting like a child. What nonsense. You're not fit to be my girlfriend if you're always like that." The redhead said. Nico didn't hear the last part of what Maki said because it was only a whisper.

"Maki-chan, can you repeat what you said? Only the last part." The ravenhaired said, ignoring the things that Maki said to her.

Maki, in response, blushed crimson red. "F-forget t-that! I-it's n-nothing i-important!" The blushing junior stammered. The senior in return, smirked.

"Then why are you stammering and blushing, Maki-chan?" Nico said, still smirking.

Maki regained her composure after a while. "I said it's nothing important, Nico-chan." She said, using her usual, stoic voice. The smirk on Nico's face disappeared.

"Fine then! If you don't want to tell me, then fine!" The petite girl almost shouted at the younger girl.

"The cards were right, Elicchi. They are really meant for each other." A certain violet haired whispered to the blonde beside her.

The blonde sighed. "Yeah. I guess you're right, Nozomi. I wonder how high their relationship will reach."

Nozomi chuckled. "Are you worried about Maki-chan and Nicocchi?" The violet haired questioned.

"A little, maybe." Was the only response of the blonde. Nozomi smiled.

Umi clapped her hands to get the attention of the girls. "Alright, enough of that, Nico, Maki. Let's go back to practice." She said.

The two girls nodded. The practice ended in two hours.

"Geez! I'm beat! Let's go somewhere to eat." Honoka said, slumping on the floor.

"Great idea nya~!" Rin agreed. The other girls fixed their things after changing their clothes.

Then, they all went down together. Nico and Maki were the last ones to go down. There was this awkward silence between the two while walking. They are walking beside each other and Nico tried to hold Maki's left hand but Maki didn't allow her.

A slight blush formed on the redhead's face when the ravenhead stopped just to hold Maki's hand.

"Can we walk like this, Maki-chan? Please?" Nico begged the younger girl.

"S-sure." Maki replied. Geez! Why am I blushing whenever Nico-chan holds my hand? Is it because my love for her is getting stronger? No. Get a hold of yourself, Maki! We're just holding hands, that's all. Nothing more.

"You seem to be very deep in thought there, Maki-chan. Are you okay?" Nico asked her, slightly worried.

"I'm just fine, Nico-chan." The scarlet haired replied. Silence. Again.

Maki decided to break the silence after a while.

"N-nico-chan, w-will y-you b-be m-my g-girlfriend?" Maki seemed very hesitant when she said those.

Nico smiled. "Of course. In fact, you're already my girlfriend.
