Gray pov

"Today is Juvia's birthday. What are you going to get her?" Lyon asked.

"Its a surprise." I winked.

Natsu pov

"Isn't today her birthday? You think its a good idea?" I questioned.

"Today is the best time to strike." She smirked.

Juvia Pov

"Hey." I greeted Gray at our usual meet8ng spot today.

"Juvia! Happy birthday!" He rushed up and wrapped his arms around me, lifting me up into the air and spinning around. I giggled and shierked.

"Put me down." I commanded, laughing. He placed me back on the floor and gave me a peck on the cheeks.

"Are you free tonight?"

"Hmm...I'm not sure..." I said jokingly. He laughed and punched me lightly on the shoulder "yeah. I'm free."

"Good."

"Why? Areyou planning something? "

"Its a surprise. You'll see."

Gray Pov

"Hurry. Juvia is going to be here in a few hours." I screamed at the party committee.

Lyon came up to me holding a boxof streamer "Where do you want this?"

"Anywhere as all as it looks beautiful."

"You sure this is going to work?" He then asked.

I smirked "oh yes it will."

Lucy pov

"So, you are going to crash her party?"

I nodded.

"That doesn't sound like much."

"Oh thats because thats only half the plan."

"What's the other half?"

I sighed. "I told we went throught this already."

"Just wanted to make sure."

"I'm not just going to walk throught the doors of her lame party. I'm going to humiliate her in front everyone."

"And you are going to do that...how?"

"Its a surprise." I smirked.

Lyon pov

"Lyon. Hey." She was stunning, standing under the moonlight. The insideof the house was pitch black as orderd by Gray.

"Come on in." I said and guided her inside.

"Where is Gray? And why are the lights all off?"

I shrugged then I remembered that she wouldn't be able to see me in the dark. "I'm not sure. Im just following his orders."

"Okay then."

"Take a seat." I guided her to the nearest chair. "He soon be here soon."

"Okay. Sure."

"Oh and try to be silent."

Juvia pov

I sat there in the dark, keeping quiet like I was told. I wasn't sure what was happening or where Gray was.

Then, I heard it. The sound of the door being slowly pushed open. I jerked up alert. Before I knew it there was a scream, a splash and a series of poping sounds. The bright lights burned my eyes and it took me a few seconds for them to adjust tothe lights. I laughed when I saw the sight in front of me a d started to laugh. A pair of strong arms warpped around my waist and a soft whisper came from behind "surprise. Happy birthday, Juvia."

"Get me out of here!!!" Lucy screamed, splashing arond frantically in the water tank.

"Like it?" He asked.

I laughed "yeah but would you mind explaining?"

He chuckled "its a long story."

"Well, I hope this isn't my present." I joked.

"What if it is?" I turned around and gasped.

"I'm kidding." He laughed and pulled out a small velvet box from his jacket. I opened it. In it was a necklace with a raindrop charm hanging of the golden chain.

"Do you like it?" I nodded, enchanted. He pulled the necklace out of the box and clasp the buckle behind my neck for me.

"Thank you." Our lips locked. Lucy was still screaming in the tank, music blasted from the speakers and everyine else were chatting or dancing. But none of this matters what was important was that Gray was kissing me and my rival was stuck in a water tank.

We pulled apart and I looked into this beatiful dark eyes and the wall that was there before was no longer there. In replacement was a sparkle.

This truly is the best birthday ever.
