Later that evening, Elsa found herself on a mountain miles from Arendelle. She was safe, but had no idea what to do.
Inside her head, Anger, Fear and Disgust decided to retire for the evening, despite Elsa being awake.
“Ohhh..." Sadness moaned. “I guess we have to do this ourselves."
Sadness pulled a switch which filled Elsa with regret. She was all alone on the north mountain because she failed to conceal her power.
“I have a better idea," Joy said, pushing Sadness aside. With the clicking of a few buttons, she recalled a sad memory of Elsa pulling on gloves with her father by her side.
“Don't let them in, don't let them see
“Be the good girl you always have to be
“Conceal, don't feel
Don't let them know"
“Joy, how is that supposed to help?" Sadness asked, confused. Normally, Joy wants Elsa to be happy.
“Well..." Joy smiled, pushing a button.
With that, Elsa ripped off her last glove and was finally free to use her powers.

Throughout the rest of the evening, Elsa rebuilt Olaf, her childhood snowman, built a palace out of ice, even her wardrobe was crafted with her powers.
When the sun shone that morning, a light flashed in Headquarters as a new Core Memory was formed. This one was just yellow, but Joy was amazed as it reconstructed Winter Island.
··························
The following evening, Joy and Sadness took a look at the Core Memories and Personality Islands. But Joy was mostly interested in the new Core Memory and Winter Island.
“Isn't it beautiful?" she asked her fellow Emotion. “It's like it returned from the dead. But not in a creepy way, of course."
“Yeah, I guess," Sadness mumbled, unsure.
“Well, what's your favorite Core Memory?" Joy asked.
“The one from the coronation," she replied, pointing at the yellow and purple Core Memory.
“You sure?" Joy questioned the blue Emotion. “It does seem a little abnormal."
“I thought it was nice when you and Fear worked together," Sadness explained. “These other ones just don't look complete."
As Sadness reached for one of the original Core Memories, it started to turn blue. But Joy pulled her hand away before she could touch it.
“No, no, no, don't touch, remember?" Joy said, pressing a button so the Core Memory holder would return to the floor. “If you touch them, they stay sad."
“Sorry, I won't," Sadness assured, looking away. Apparently, she turned all of the day's memories sad.
“Starting... now."

Poor Sadness, she can't help it. :(

In other news, I got Inside Out for Christmas!

Live long and prosper.
