Eve / Elmendë

Ah, my darling darling girl. Poor Eve. Raised mostly by her father and older brother and sister, she lost her mother at an early age. She went to Catholic School as a child and then switched to attending a Public University in the New England area. She studied studio art, and wanted to travel the world. In the middle of her Senior Year, she is killed in a drink driver hit and run car accident on New Year's Eve, her birthday and namesake. Coincidentally, her name also belonged to the first woman of the Bible, the first in creation. She, also, is the first human to appear in Arda, though she is placed there as an elf. Theories abound as to why Eru placed her there, but the most common assumption is she was key to the creation of Gil-galad who assisted in defeating Sauron, and that her unique outlook helped keep the two houses of Fingolfin and Fëanor from completely destroying one another. Though not a self insert (we are vastly different in many aspects), I found it ironic that she and I share the same Meyers-Briggs type, according to the test I did for her. So. Eve is officially an INFP.

Elenwë

Born to a wealthy, noble family of Vanyar of Valimar, Elenwë met Turvo at a Festival of Yavannië when both were relatively young. Immediately Turvo was intrigued by her. Elenwë is sweet and sour, if you will. She is kindly and caring, but she is sassy and witty too. Yet even her sarcasm is laced with kindly words. She is a family friend of the renowned poet Elemmírë with whom she also grew up with in Valimar. Elenwë instantly gravitated to Eve, helping the woman adjust to life in Valinor alongside Nerdanel and Amarië. Because as she often reminds the boys, a woman's touch is always necessary.

Amarië

A cheerful, carefree maiden of Vanyarin Taniquetil who loves Finrod but has some sense that marrying him would only bring trouble, though she refuses to voice this or admit it to even Findo himself. Her best friend is Elenwë, with whom she used to live while in Tirion until Elenwë and Turvo married. After that she lived with Eve who moved out from the Fëanáro household. Together with Eve, Amarië tries to keep the families together during the Unrest of the Noldor. She feels intensely, especially joy and sadness. It hurts her more than, for example, Elenwë, that Fëanáro openly disdains her people. She wishes she could help heal Fëanáro of his terrible hurt incurred by his mother's death and abandonment, and of the remarrying of his father. But she doesn't dare, for she knows also that it would only hurt her in the long run.

Elemmírë

A Vanya of Valimar (and friend of Elenwë) who grew up in the light of the trees and became inspired to become a poet and later, a songwriter in collaboration with Maglor. Despite, or perhaps because of, her renowned fame as the greatest wordsmith in Valinor, Elemmírë didn't bother keeping up with the Noldor and Telerin people, instead spending her time supporting her own people's pursuits. She is very much aware of Prince Fëanáro and his hatred of her folk, which inspires her to prove him wrong. Yet despite her dislike of Fëanor himself, she has found herself slowing falling in love with Káno, his second son, the most renowned musician of Valinor. But time is running out for them. In the Silmarillion, she (or perhaps he? for this story I chose female) is known also for crafting the Aldudénië, the lament for the Two Trees.

Hrávien

The only female Hunter of Oromë, and one of the few Falmari members as well. Her name translates from Quenya as "Wild Maiden," a prophetic mother name translated from the original Telerin-Quenya. Because most of the Hunters are Noldor, she took their language as well. She is the fastest of the Hunters on horseback, barely beating out Tyelko. Speaking of Tyelko, she is very fond of him, and enjoys a friendship with Iríssë whom she met through the son of Fëanor. She is easily irritated, and enjoys teasing and being teased by the Hunters. She knows what it's like to be a maiden in a man's world.
