Serene's POV

I still couldn't believe that someone kidnapped Anna last night. I was alone at the bounty.

"Serene!" yelled a voice.

Correction I was alone with Lloyd while the others got to go out and search for Anna. Why did this happen to me?

"What Lloyd?" I yelled back.

Lloyd walked up on deck and looked at me. "I thought since you haven't had time to train like the others I would try and help you catch up."

"Fine," I moaned.

Lloyd walked to one side of the deck and I went to the other.

"Alright Serene, attack me with everything you've got." he said.

I smirked. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad but I still wasn't sure if I could trust Lloyd entirely or not. I formed a water ball in my hand and threw it at him, then I charged.

Worst idea ever.

Lloyd grabbed me by the arm, flipped me and then had me pinned to the deck. I tried to get out from under him but he had me pinned good.

Lloyd smirked. "Lesson one, never charge unless you are for sure it's a good idea."

I rolled my eyes. "Can you please get off me now, blondie?"

He laughed and got off. He then held out his hand. I looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.

"What? Has no one ever helped you up before?"

"No. No one cares for an orphan or a thief."

"Your an orphan?" he asked. I nodded in return.

"Well I'm sorry to hear that." he replied.

All of a sudden the alarm went off. Someone or something was on the ship. I looked over at Lloyd, who was staring at me.

We both jumped when a crash came from behind us. We turned around to see a giant shadow monster looking directly at us.

"What the heck is that?!" I yelled.

"It looks like some sort of shadow monster!" Lloyd returned.

At that moment the monster charged at us.

"Serene climb up the mast! Now!"

I nodded and climbed up the mast in the middle of the deck. When I got to the top I turned around to see Lloyd right behind me.

"That thing is massive!" he said.

At that moment, the monster started shaking the mast causing me to fall. I screamed, but something stopped me from falling. I looked up to see Lloyd holding onto my hand.

"D-Don't let me fall!" I stuttered.

"I won't let go of you, Serene." He looked straight into my eyes. "I promise I won't let go."

The monster slammed it's shoulder against the mast. We both heard a crack come from the mast, and we fell straight onto the deck. I didn't feel much pain when we hit because Lloyd had wrapped his arms around me to protect me from the hit.

Lloyd moaned in pain.

Why would he do that?

He could be seriously hurt!

All of a sudden the monster reached down and picked both of us up. I was frozen with fear.

"Uh Lloyd!" I yelled.

Lloyd looked like he was going to pass out. The monster held both of us over its mouth and then dropped us. The last thing I saw was my new home crash into the ocean.

Anna's POV

I woke up chained to a wall and couldn't break free. What was going on?! Why did Andrew kidnap me last night and not just go ahead and steal my necklace. He knew it held my powers but why hadn't he just gone ahead and stolen it. I saw a pair of bloody red eyes staring at me.

I knew who they belonged to and I didn't want to find out what he was planning to do with me.

I hope Cole finds me soon....

Me: hehe I am evil! (Laughs evilly)

Kai: BAD AUTHOR!

Cole: VER DEAD AUTHOR!

Jay: KILL HER!

Me: WHAT?! NO!

Misty: we can't kill her if we want to see out friends again.

Zane: she's right

Kai, Cole & Jay: FINE!
