Later at night he took her to the dinner date, he took the rose flower and gave it to her. She smiled and blushed. “This is a token of love from my side, fiancee, although it will dry out one day, but I will remain with you forever,” he said and she was totally lost in him, she caressed the rose on his face, he sneezed and she laughed. “Bless you,” she said and he chuckled.

The waiter served them food and they ate together. Later, they had coconut water together sharing one coconut. Then they went home and walked together to the balcony. While walking, she slipped and he caught her in his arms on time. They had an eye lock and he straightened her. “Déjà vu,” she said. “What?” he asked. “Feels like this happened before,” she told him. “It did, when you got discharged from the hospital and Mauli told you she will take you to her home, when you stood up from the bed you lost your balance that’s when this happened,” he reminded.

“Ohhhh yes, sharp memory,” she said and he held her hand. “Shall we?” he asked and she nodded, they headed towards the balcony and gazed at the moon together, they stood with a gap in between. While gazing, she moved her gaze to him and he too moved his gaze towards her. They decreased the distance between them and stood close, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, they smiled and moved their gaze back towards the moon.

“My parents must be watching over me right now, and today they would be really happy that I got my soul mate,” she said. “Yes, of course, they’re shining like stars in the sky,” he said, she smiled slightly and encircled her arms around his neck while still looking at the moon. He kissed her forehead. She hugged him and he hugged her back. “I love you to the moon and back,” she said. “I love you too,” he said. They remained in the hug for sometime and then broke the hug. “Let’s enjoy sitting on the swing with this breezy weather,” she said and he agreed, they went and sat together on the swing.

Slow breezes touched them. They just sat there enjoying the breeze. After sometime, Ishita felt weight on her shoulder and saw him sleepy. “Raman,” she whispered and he slightly looked at her. “Are you sleepy?” she asked. “Somewhat,” he replied. “My shoulder would be uncomfortable if you’re so sleepy,” she said. “Means?” he asked. “Its okay yaar, we’re about to get married, right now we’re engaged, means we’re more than friends, means you can place your head in my lap if needed,” she said and he lifted his head and looked at her sheepishly. “Are you sure?” he asked. “Damn sure,” she said and he turned and lied his head on her lap. “Comfortable?” he asked. “Yes,” she said. He kept lying on her lap and she ran her fingers in her hair playing with them. He didn’t know when he fell asleep.
