I just want to have a fluffy thing with Peter and Dick because I love them and I want the best for them

Peter Parker, AKA Spider-Man, had struck up an odd friendship. It wasn't with a God. It wasn't with a previous assassin. It was with someone from a completely different dimension. They'd met when they came into his dimension on accident. Eventually, after a lucky break, they were able to send them home. This person was Robin but Peter knew him as Dick. When they sent him back home, Peter gave him a box that would allow him to travel back to their dimension, in case he fancied meeting back up. Peter had a similar device that allowed him to travel to Dick's dimension and out at will. He never really thought about travelling to the other's dimension until a particularly boring weekend. All The Avengers were away on a mission he couldn't join, Aunt May was working most of the time, Ned was at his Grandmas and MJ was busy. He was at his desk, finishing up his homework as it was the only thing he could do when he just so happened to glance at the inter-dimensional device. He grinned to himself and picked it up. "I'm sure he won't mind me dropping by," he muttered to himself. Maybe he could meet his friends and family. Dick made it obvious just how much he loved them. They were probably worth knowing. He fiddled with the switches, making sure it was properly tuned and he didn't end up in some other place. As he did this, he wondered if he should wear his suit. They could go on a mission together. If his dimension was just as chaotic as Peter's then he probably should bring it.

Now kitted out in his Spider-man uniform, Peter pressed the button and was sent to Dick's dimension. He squeezed his eyes shut and kept his breath even. He'd never travelled inter-dimensionally. Up until meeting Tony he hadn't even been on an aeroplane. His stomach flipped and churned as he travelled through. It was like going on a rollercoaster that kept going down at a high speed. Suddenly, the feeling stopped. He opened one eye and looked around. It looked like he was inside of a Mountain, judging by the walls and ceiling being made up of rocks. In front of him was a square of pure light. Near the square of light were big circles carved into the walls. The insides were grey and mechanical parts. He turned around to get a better look at the place and saw a long hallway. Down it was a few doors, some with posters on for what he thought were either bands or tv shows. They looked like the bedroom doors at The Avenger's compound. Maybe Dick lived here. "Hello?" he called out. He didn't get a response. Dick was probably out on a mission so he decided to look around whilst he waited. He explored the light pad first. When he stepped into the middle, a holographic keyboard popped up in front of him. Tony had something similar in his lab. Interested, he typed in Dick's hero name to see what would happen. It came up with a short bio, nothing about his personal name or life. He raised an eyebrow at that. Did these people know who he was? On his status, it said he was currently returning from a mission. Peter sighed. He was definitely going to have to waste some time.

After reading over the bio, he quickly became bored with it and turned his attention to the hallway. He didn't want to mess with the big circles. They could be an exit and he didn't fancy getting lost in an environment he didn't know. He wandered down the hallway and looked at the doors. Each had a name on and were sometimes decorated with whatever the person liked. Connor seemed like a simple person, he didn't have anything on his door. Next was...how the hell do you say that name? M'gann? Was that a name? Either way, their door was covered head to toe in bright colourful posters from magazines. He wondered how old they were since the magazines were called Kids Weekly and Teens Mag. Was there someone younger than Dick knocking around? The next door was Artemis'. Plain, simple, aside from a lightning bolt symbol. He would've thought their thing was archery or something considering their name was Artemis. Perhaps he was too presumptuous. The next was Wally's. Oh, that was his boyfriend! Peter looked forward to meeting him. Apparently, they were similar. They were sure to get along. His door had the same lightning bolt sticker on which made him think Artemis didn't put it on their door themselves. Robin's room was next. He read that right. Robin. He would've thought his actual name would be on it. The door had a few memes on it about Batman. Peter didn't get them but he guessed they were funny in their own context. Finally was Kaldur's door. Quirky name. His door was plain. Further down the hall was a big room full of different objects. They looked like junk, things that you'd get a particularly terrible yard sale.

As he walked around, he found a living room with an open kitchen. It was a bit messy but the living room at the compound wasn't any cleaner. He'd been flipping through a magazine when he heard a loud noise. It sounded like a plane landing. "Oh that's probably Dick!" he exclaimed. He raced towards the sound and found himself in a big room. There was a massive doorway to the sea and the water was crashing against the platform he was stood on. In the distance, he spotted something red flying in his direction. He grinned at the prospect of meeting everyone. It would definitely be much better than when Dick met the Avengers. As the plane came closer, he waved to it to give Dick forewarning of his arrival in his dimension. He hoped Dick still remembered him. Did time go quicker in this dimension? He hoped not. It would be weird to see him older. What if he'd grown? Now that would be odd.

Once the plane landed, although now it was closer it looked more like a space ship, Dick raced out of it. "Spider-Boy!" he exclaimed, cackling with joy. He jumped into Peter's arms with a grin and Peter span him around, giggling to himself.

"Surprise!"

"Nothing bad happened to bring you here right?" Dick inquired as his feet returned to the floor.

"Oh no, nothing like that. I just fancied seeing you again."

"Aww you were missing me," he teased, receiving a light punch in the arm. A group of people that were presumably the owners of the rooms Peter walked by before joined them, staring at the pair in confusion. "Guys this is Spider-Man. He's the guy who helped me get home when I went to another dimension," Dick explained, gesturing to him. Peter waved to them and mostly got a positive response back. The ginger in a bright yellow uniform looked him up and down with an unimpressed look.

"That's great and all but we've just come back from a mission. Us and Robin need to make sure we're all fine," he stated with a venomous tone.

"We literally never do that," a boy with an S on his shirt pointed out.

"And I feel fine," Robin replied. "I should introduce my team then hey?" he added, ignoring the ginger's annoyed glance. "This is M'gann, Connor, Artemis, Wally and Kaldur. Kal is our leader but between you and me I'm doing most of the work." He whispered the last part, making their shared laugh ever more suspicious to Wally. He ran to be in between them and put his arm around Robin, making their status very clear. "It's great to meet you guys. I'm sorry if I intruded on anything but I couldn't exactly warn you about me coming over," Peter said. He decided to take off his mask, not seeing the need to hide his identity in this new place.

"Rob didn't mention you were cute. Shame you live in a different dimension," Artemis commented, giving him a flirtatious smile that made his face bright red.

"I-I've got my eyes on someone actually."

"You didn't mention anyone. Let me grab some water and you can tell me all about them," Robin replied. He shook off Wally's arm and led Peter back to the living room.

"Someone's jealous," Artemis teased, noticing Wally's pout.

"Pfft, me? Jealous? I'm a total catch, Rob wouldn't leave me for some spider guy. I mean, who even centres themselves on a spider? A villain would," Wally rambled. He grew more frustrated by the minute. It was kinda funny to witness.

"Robin only sees him as a friend," M'gann assured him. He grumbled as he glared at the ground hard enough to bore a hole in it.

"Oh come off it Walls. The jealous boyfriend look isn't cute," Artemis complained. The team began to walk off with the speedster trudging behind him.

"You don't know what he thinks is cute," he muttered. They joined Peter and Robin in the living room whilst they were laughing about something. Wally gritted his teeth and sat beside his boyfriend, kissing him on the cheek just as a reminder. Robin didn't take much notice of him and continued his conversation with Peter. "She sounds awesome dude. Does she know you're a hero?" he asked.

"Sometimes I think she does but I'm not sure. I've never told her but I wouldn't doubt her finding out by herself," Peter explained.

"You should let her know if you start dating. Hero life and relationships can be hard to keep up without them knowing," Robin explained. Peter nodded with a sigh. "But don't let that get in the way. Be a teenager whilst you can, God knows we grow up too fast." Wally dropped his jealous act for a moment to hold his hand in comfort. He didn't like the way Robin's tone changed.

"Anyways, how are the Avengers?"

"Busy. They keep going on missions and I can't go on half of them. Gotta stay the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man."

"Welcome to our lives," Artemis commented, moving to turn on the TV. She received nods in support from her fellow teammates.

"But you guys have your own team! You just came back from a mission! All I have is crumby Queens," Peter complained. The team laughed and he raised an eyebrow at him. He didn't think he said anything particularly funny. Was this a dimensional difference thing?

"We started out like that," Kaldur assured him. "You have to start somewhere."

"But there's like no heroes my age around," Peter protested.

"There will be. You'll set an example and other kids like you will come out the woodwork. Proof is right in front of you," Dick pointed out, gesturing to himself. "Do you think without this fine example, these guys would be here?"

"And here we thought you couldn't get anymore egotistical," Artemis taunted. Wally sent her a cautionary glare. He took great pride in knowing things they didn't but sometimes it would be easier if they knew.

"Shut up Blondie, your mentor wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for me," Robin taunted back.

Whilst they bickered, Wally, turned his attention to Peter. He was grinning at Robin and occasionally laughing at his jokes. Wally didn't like the stare he was giving his boyfriend. Whoever his crush was might be a front. Like that guy in Friends who wanted to get with Monica so he pretended to have a love interest to trick her. He didn't remember how the episode ended but all the same, he didn't trust Peter. Wally didn't think he was really Dick's type but their closeness for only knowing each other for less than a week. Then again, he wouldn't know Dick's secret identity. He didn't know what Wally knew about him. He could hold that over him. Plus he was clearly superior. What kind of powers did Spider-Man have? Power to die if he falls from two feet? Power to die quicker than females? Wally was clearly better. Super speed was just more helpful than someone who was themed around spiders. He pulled Dick onto his lap and wrapped his arms around the younger's waist to further assert himself as his boyfriend. Of course, Dick just ignored him and continued to lightly banter with his teammates. Unfortunately, Wally's spiteful glare couldn't be ignored by Peter. He shuffled under the emerald stare and coughed nervously to alert his friend of the situation. Dick paused his bickering, tutted, then kissed Wally passionately. "There, now be civil with him. You two actually have things in common and you'll like him once you get to know him," Dick ordered, ignoring the urge to cackle at his boyfriend's bright blush.

"Okay" Wally replied, his voice cracking.

Wally and Peter did in fact get along well. Admittedly, Dick had to prompt them with a similar interest, that being chemistry. Wally explained how a batch of chemicals spilling on him allowed him to gain the power of super speed like his mentor, making him Kid Flash. "So you weren't born with your powers?" Peter inquired.

"Nope, got them when I was ten just by chance. It could've been anyone really," Wally explained. Peter's face lit up.

"That's the same for me! Anyone could've been bitten by that spider but it was me," he replied. "I was only bitten because I went on that field trip and just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Or wrong place depending on the day," he added with a laugh.

"What powers did it give you?"

"Oh, a whole bunch. I don't think I've even figured them all out yet. The ones I'm sure of is super-strength, hearing, a much higher metabolism-" he paused from counting his powers. "Speaking of, do you mind if I get something to eat here? I'm starving."

"I have a high metabolism too. Drives Rob crazy when I eat in bed. Says the crumbs annoy him," Wally shared, gaining a laugh from his previous romantic rival.

"Because it feels like I'm sleeping on sandpaper!" He rolled his eyes and took the smaller off his lap, speeding to the kitchen. Dick nodded to Peter to follow him if he had any hopes of eating something before the speedster got to all the good stuff.

The brunette joined the ginger in the kitchen, being thrown a cereal bar in the process. "Sorry for before," Wally apologised gingerly.

"It's alright. I must be more attractive than I thought to be considered competition," Peter assured him. He decided to take it as a compliment. It was the best he could do if he wanted to keep coming back here. Being on the other's bad side would only make things awkward. "I can't help it. I mean look at him, I was lucky to snatch him up before anyone else could. I'll be lucky if he sticks around," Wally sighed.

"You can't be serious. He really loves you. It was obvious when he was in my dimension." Wally stared at him, a little shocked that someone who'd never seen them interact before could see the love they shared. He looked back at Dick with a smile. "You think so?"

"I know so. Wish I had someone who was like that with me," Peter admitted, laughing to himself. The fellow hero chuckled and patted him on the back.

"You probably do. Just takes some time to see it." He couldn't help but wonder if MJ talked about him the way Dick talked about Wally. Maybe she did though she didn't seem the type to be so lovey-dovey. Though, her looks that she gave him when he did something embarrassing may be more loving than he thought. He'd have to check that the next time it happened. It would happen. It would most likely happen as soon as he stepped foot into school on Monday. He and embarrassment went hand in hand. "Yeah, I guess so."

After hours of talking and sharing updates on their lives, it came time for Peter to return to his own dimension. "It was great having you here. I should come to your dimension again at some point," Robin said, giving his friend one last hug before he disappeared. They wished there was a way for them to communicate with one another but the technology just wasn't there yet. One day it would be and they both hoped they'd be there to see that day. In their line of work, living that long seemed unfathomable. "I could show you around Queens, you'd make patrol a lot less boring," Peter replied. "It was nice meeting you all," he added, waving to the team.

"Next time we can spend more bro time together," Wally offered. Peter smiled at him, accepting the olive branch.

"I'd like that." He took out the device that would send him back home. Part of him really wanted to stay longer but he should go back. He didn't know the effects of staying there for ages would do. Coming home with an extra foot or something weird as a side effect would be difficult to explain away when he got back to school. "Keep an eye on him for me. I'd like to see him still alive when I come back," he added, whispering the last bit so Dick didn't overhear them.

"Trust me, he's keeping me alive," Wally joked. They shook hands as a final show that there were no hard feelings and Peter said goodbye. He pressed the button, disappearing from their dimension.

"What did he say to you?" Dick asked out of interest.

"Look who's jealous now," Wally taunted, walking away.

"I'm not jealous! I don't get jealous!"

"Yep, totally not jealous," Artemis commented.

"Stay out of it. I just wanna know what he said! Wally! Tell me!" Dick demanded, chasing after him.
