I was watching some of the boys collect bugs. Well me and Karma were watching. I was using this as a sneaking lesson. "Remind me why we're out here again." Nagisa said. "Oh sorry. I don't want the people in my neighborhood to see me doing this. I'll always be a city boy at heart but nature fascinates me. Karma and Shadow showed me this tree a while back it's really cool." Sugino said. After some talk about money. "Eh, I don't think money will be a problem for me, Karma, and Shadow. Mostly those last two." Nagisa said. "Why do you say that?" "Because both my best friends are rich." He deadpanned. "...WHAT!?" Maiahara and Sugino shouted. "Yeah, Shadow's an assassin who has millions in her pockets and Karma don't even get me started on him. They don't like to mention it but it's true. Both of them have millions of yen." Nagisa explained while sighing. I silently facepalmed as did Karma. 

After that they ran into Hino. She's nice and everything but a little into bugs. They all decided to go bug hunting together. Me and Karma followed silently. 'I kinda wish Nagisa didn't tell the others that I'm loaded.' Karma signaled to me. 'Me too, but hey they were going to find out eventually. Just like our relationship.' I signaled back. Karma smirked. 'I still find Rio's reaction hilarious.' He signaled. I frowned. 'The poor girl got a nose bleed then passed out.' I signaled. Then I smirked. 'But you're right it was really funny.' We both snickered lightly. "Hey did you hear that?" Hino asked. 'Oh s*it.' I signaled. "Karma, Shadow. I know you two are up there." Nagisa called. "Dang it. And I thought we were doing well." Karma said jumping down. "Maybe you shouldn't have brought up Rio's reaction to finding out we were dating." I said jumping down next to him. The others jumped back a little. "Really you two. You had to be in uniform huh?" Nagisa questioned. I took off my mask. "Hey you're the one who told them we're loaded. Expect hardcore pranking later." I said. He flinched back a little. "Oh geez you two were there for that?" He questioned. "Yes." We answered completely monotone. "We've been tailing you guys since you entered the forest." Karma said. Sugino glared at Nagisa. "I brought you with me to keep these two from following us!" He hissed. "How was I suppose to know! Shadow is Shadow and Karma has been taking extra lessons! And don't think I don't know about that!" Blueberry yelled at us. Karma looked away while whistling and I was fixing my gloves. "You two are so petty!" Nagisa shouted. We tagged along with the group for a while. We ran into Okajima and he had set an impressive trap for Koro-sensei. "Okajima, I am both proud and disgusted right now." I said. After that Koro-sensei caught a white eyed stag beetle for Hino. After that he told us to not tell anyone that he fell for this trap and bought our silence with popsicles. Little known to him a good majority of us had our fingers crossed and took the popsicles.

When we returned for training the assassin I had met a while back was there. Lovro I think his name was. He decided to help us with training. I was watching Nagisa and Karma spar with their Dragonsteel knives. "So these are your students." Lovro said standing next to me. "Nagisa has the skills of a natural born assassin. When I saw that I had to sharpen that blade. Karma is talented and can adapt to most situations. There's this secret move I've been wanting to teach him but I can't with Nagisa around." I explained. He nodded. "Then how about I teach young Nagisa a secret technique while you teach your move to young Karma." He offered. "You've got yourself a deal." I said. "Karma! Nagisa! With me!" I shouted to them. They stopped sparing and ran over. "I see they respond well to you." Lovro said. "Of course we do. She's helped us so much it's a no brainier." Nagisa said with a shrug. "Karma. I need your help with something. Nagisa, Lovro here will be helping you train for a while." I said grabbing Karma's wrist. "Let's go." I said. 

~After teaching Karma~       

I helped Karma to his feat. "Oh, ouch. That hurt." He said rubbing his head. "This move is something only you and I can use. It drains energy and can kill a person. Be careful on how you use it." I said. He nodded. "Anyways I'm going to start packing. Do you think we should bring our assassin's uniforms?" I questioned. "Always have your uniform with you. Expect the unexpected." Karma recited. I smiled. "Good memory." I said. 

The next day we were all on a ship and heading to Okinawa. Me and Karma were playing checkers at one of the tables. "Shadow. Why do you never mention playing chess? It's obvious that you would be good at it." Nagisa said. I took another one of Karma's pieces earning a small growl from him. "Yes, I am exceptional at chess. But I don't like the implication of the game itself. As the game goes on the number of pieces gets smaller and smaller, but as long as your king remains you're fine. I'm not that kind of leader. It's why a prefer checkers. If you have a king you need to send it out to fight as well as the normal pieces. I don't want to hide on a throne and be protected, if my men are going out to fight I'm going with them. I fight alongside my warriors and if anyone's going to die first it's going to be me." I explained. "That got dark fast." Karma said bluntly. "True but that's how I feel." I said. "Heh, I don't think Karma would ever let you sacrifice yourself." Nagisa said. Karma blushed a little. "Shut it Blueberry." He growled. "Make me Strawberry." He growled back. Karma got up and started a little spar with Nagisa. I sipped my tea and watched them. "Shadow what's this about?" Kayano said pointing to the two. I sipped my tea again and took Karma's last piece. "Game set and match." I said. "Huh?" Karma said looking over. He was holding Nagisa up by his shirt. "OH COME ON!" He shouted running over. I laughed at his reaction. "Next time keep your head in the game." I said. He growled at me. "Every time!" He yelled. "So anyone want to play UNO?" I questioned. 

Once we got to Okinawa we got to work. Me, Karma, and Nagisa this time came prepared to hide our scales with jars of waterproof concealer. We got to work at once setting up the assassination. One group would keep the octopus busy while the rest of us got stuff set up. Sunset was here. After this the assassination would go down. This plan is so crazy it just might work. I'm still worried though. "Hey (Y/N)." Karma said walking over to me. I was sitting on the beach watching the sunset. "So do you think this plan will work?" He asked sitting next to me. "I'm not sure. I always have a back up plan just in case but still. I'm worried this will all be for nothing." I said. "Cheer up. This plan is really crazy but I have a feeling it'll work like a charm. Unless Koro-sensei pulls something we haven't seen before." He said. I hit his head lightly. "Don't jinx it ya idiot." I said. He rubbed his head but smiled at me. I smiled back. "Let's get this started." I said watching as the sun slowly left the sky. 

Me and Karma were waiting on one of the water scooters. After an hour or so the tide rose and it was go time. Karma started up the scooter and we tore down the chapel all while laughing. The others got up and formed the cage made of water. The entire class shot around him to keep him from getting away. Then our two best snipers took the shot. There was an explosion. Everyone was scattered into the water. "Don't let your guard down! There's still a possibility that he could regenerate!" Karasuma shouted. My eyes scanned the water as me and Karma got on shore. Koro-sensei survived. And he used his absolute defense form to do it. I smacked Karma on the head. "Way to go! You jinxed us!" I shouted. Koro-sensei explained that he couldn't move while he was like this.

We had Terasaka toss him over to me and Karma. Karma showed him an embarrassing picture while I got a slug and put it on the shell. Koro-sensei started screaming while Karma was asking for another way to torture him. "I'd never take that form with a bunch of kids." Kayano said. "Yeah, especially with Karma and Shadow around." Nagisa added. I used a shadow to fish everyone out of the water then sat next to Karma on the dock. "We blew it. How are we going to get this close again?" Nagisa asked from behind me. "I don't know. I honestly don't know. He praises us like always but this was our best shot." I said. "I'm pretty sure this got everyone worn down. Let's just go to the hotel." Karma said. I nodded. 

Once we got back to the hotel me, Karma, and Nagisa sat at a table in a shadowy corner messing around with straws. The entire room was gloomy. That's when I noticed it. Everyone was down sure, but there seemed to be so little energy. "Guys does something seem off to you?" I asked. "Yeah, the energy in the room seems...off." Nagisa said. "We failed sure but we still have plenty of time. And this isn't the first time we've failed either." Karma added. That's when Rio and a few of the others collapsed. Me, Karma, and Nagisa shot up. He felt the forehead of Rio. "She's burning up." Nagisa said in a panicked tone. Karasuma ran in and told the hotel to call a doctor. That's when he got a call. I rushed over to hear what was going on. Three words. It's go time. "Karasuma." I said. "Let me handle this." I said taking Koro-sensei from his hands. "Shadow! What are you going to do!?" He asked. "Do what I was born to do. And use it as a learning experience for my students." I growled. "Karma, Nagisa!" I barked. The two ran over. "It's show time." I said. They both nodded and ran off. I reached inside my bag and pulled out three ear pieces and a headset. "This headset is for you. I already have Ritsu connected to it so she'll act as our nav. As for you, stay here and let me and the boys handle this. I've been waiting to test them on the field." I said handing him the headset. Karma and Nagisa returned in their uniforms. I put my mask, cloak, and gloves on. I handed them the ear pieces. "These will connect us to Karasuma and Ritsu. This is our first team infiltration mission. If you feel that you aren't ready for this the speak up now before it's too late." I said. "Like I'm letting you go in there alone." Karma said with a smirk. "We're with you all the way." Nagisa said. "Excellent. Let's get moving." I said. "Shadow, I understand what you and the boys are capable of. But please don't go in there. Don't risk your lives." Koro-sensei pleaded. "Can it octopus. Our friends lives are on the line here, and if we give you to this psycho he'll destroy the antidote I can smell this trap from a mile away." Karma spat. I nodded. "Our only hope is to get the drop on him. Whoever this guy is won't see us coming. No one knows that we've been training to be Phantoms. Whoever dared mess with the Assassination Classroom is going to learn the hard way to not mess with us." Nagisa growled. "Guys." I said in a serious tone. "You do realize whoever this is we might have to kill." I said. "They poisoned children, demanded us to hand over Koro-sensei, whoever this is, is a full blown psycho. We may have to kill this person." I said. Nagisa seemed to grow paler. Karma nodded. "I'm fully aware of that fact, and I'm prepared to make the killing blow if I have to." He said slowly. Nagisa nodded. "I realize that. And they hurt my friends. No one gets away with that. Ever." Nagisa growled. 

I nodded and looked at the two. They both were wearing smiles but I could see the cold hearts of killers. "I've taught you two well. This is a testing ground for your abilities. Let's not wast anymore time. Let's do this. Karma, Nagisa..." I started. I smiled. "Ittttttttttttttt's Showtime!" We all said in unison.
