A black bolero stood at the corner of the parking lot , all four took turns to peep in and out to scan the entry point .

Shivaay collected some refills and pushed them inside his pocket , he then pressed in anew magazine stock to his pistol and punched the safety lever out . She scanned all his actions quietly and kept rubbing her palms over the dress. Palms get wet when afraid .

S- you said you weren't scared.

He enquired as he focused doing the same steps with the other pistol . That stock stand wouldn't just come out with a click, he tried and struggled to handle it with his hurt arm . By then she quickly took the piece from him and tried fixing them together to load the fill . He stared at her while she did that enduring some difficulties, obviously , for an amateur it takes time.

A- earlier I said ,I'll take care of myself , I hear no word called scared in this sentence .

Came her straight reply as she still kept trying to bring those parts to one . Shivaay made a slow blink lazily and looked away . He was going to say something but she intervened ,

A- ofcourse anyone would be scared in this situation , I am too .

He nodded when she completed.

S- good .

R - don't worry , I'll protect you if

Rudra stopped right then and there on noticing shivaay's head making a slow arc towards him. She kept waiting for him to complete, and Rudra continued after that pause .

R- we'll protect you !

He rose his hand to make an high five with shivaay who ignored him completely. Rudra sighed and continued what he was doing with the binoculars.

She finally fixed the magazine to the port and gave the pistol to him.

A- here .

S- it's for you , just in case

Annika looked bewildered.

A- but I don't know how to use it

S- point it against the target and pull the trigger , that'll do . Ok what about Mr.Trivedi , I asked you to check on him right ?

A- yeah , one sec

She kept the gun on her lap and fetched her mobile to dial for someone .

A- hello swetha

' yes Dr '

A- what happened?

' actually Dr , the dean is at the conference room , attending a board meeting .'

A- ok , so he's attending a meeting now ?

'Yes'

She repeated the statement to inform him the same , while he lip mouthed something to her and she nodded quickly.

A- the import documents are really important , mahcines are priority. Mr.Trivedi knows it , so do this, wait until the meeting is over and get those papers approved all at once . We need this done by this afternoon .

' sure Dr '

She hung up the call and breathed out a sigh.

A- vice president will be holding an hour to discuss about the financial criteria , all board members will have a part . Then these bunch of papers , he'll have to go through it one by one . I hope we got the time.

S- ok , then I guess the place is clear .

Om- how can you be sure ?

S- I'm not , it's just that ,he got them working under his eyes. In his absence, I don't think anyone would be there . Because none other than him actually can tell what's happening inside .

R- it's time , shall we ?

S- hmm .

R - all the best people !

Rudra exclaimed while they all stepped out and walked towards that car .

Shivaay was the first to climb down the tunnel , he asked them to keep silence completely. It was too dark , someone even stomped over annika's foot , she obeyed his rule and swallowed her whine.

Only when Om flashed the light with a torch they recognized what the place looked like . The lab station seemed luckily clear as shivaay had guessed .

R- what are we waiting for , come .

He whispered in a very low voice, but Om signalled him to wait .

Om - what if there's some breach signals installed ?

He answered maintaining the same low whisper . Suddnely a hard thud was heard when Annika stepped aside from the person who once again stomped on her foot .

A- shivaay can you stop doing that .

S- shh! Annika stomp over the floor again , very slowly this time .

She did as he mentioned , and shivaay tried doing the same over the land where he stood .

The noise was certainly different. He immediately grabbed the light and pointed it over annika's legs . She was confused and felt awkward.

A- uhh what is it ?

He didn't answer and just kept staring at it .

R - landmine ?

A- what !

S- shh , move it .

He pushed her leg so that she moves from that spot . He then peeled out the thick mat sheet from there , a square box like wooden outline was revealed beneath it. Shivaay eyed Om indicating something , Om quickly took some tools from the bag and tried opening it .

Big insulated cables , huge switch boxes , digital meter boxes , all inclined together . This lied beneath that particular spot .

Om - it's the supply box .

A- to avoid all those radiations and any other stuffs , maybe this is pushed out .

S- good for us , put it off . There won't be any breach alarms while we actually breach through this .

He announced the last sentence sarcastically.

R - senior!

Rudra expressed his grin and saluted before shivaay immediately, well , he was impressed by the spontaneous skills which he possessed.

S- enough now , you've seen the line orientation of breach alarms right? Search for that and pull it down .

A- how would you recognize it?

R- senior has given special training on electrical layouts .

Annika turned back to show her surprised face to shivaay. He understood her query and answered .

S- it has become quite necessary these days, knowledge on technology, electricity , medicine , much more . Because thieves never think twice before investing time to learn such stuffs .

She nodded slowly as he completed .

Being a cop is no easy job , she thought.

Shivaay and Annika collected the suits which hung in there while Om and Rudra worked to bring the alarm down .

R- no not this,

Om - check the band colour of that box .

R- ok ,

Om- the one beneath it

R- I guess this is it .

Om looked at him for a second and took a gulp before pulling the lever down .

S- done ?

R- whoa senior , you look like an astronaut!

Shivaay just shrugged his shoulders and looked down to notice his self completely. The big white armour was one whole lot of weight actually.

S- put on your's too , not sure if it's needed but precaution is must .

R- couldn't hear you .

Only when Rudra actioned to his words shivaay understood and took off the helmet.

S- remember? no communication. Your father is one smart man annika .

She didn't react to it rather bent down to fix the leg part of the suit which was kind of uncomfortable.

All the four got ready , armoured .

Om- God we missed the thumbprint thing!

Om sighed in defeat holding his helmet down .

S- don't worry Om , it's not our only option .

Annika shook her head and removed the helmet soon when she saw him staring at her significantly.

A- it's been many years , I don't know if I can

S- try , we have no other option.

She frowned at him and looked away immediately. Shivaay kept insisting, she looked tensed for a while and seemed to think of something before preparing herself.

Pressing the voice button on , she stood right infront of the mic while shivaay signalled the other two to keep silence .

A- Open up , it's Tej Trivedi .

Her voice sounded more like a man , more like her father , but not every much like Tej . Rudra was astonished by her action ,angel rocks , his inner voice hooted for her .

A red cross pattern was seen in the display, she crushed her eyes and stomped the floor .

A- I told you .

S- once more .

A- I can't.

Om- annika , please.

She frowned helplessly and turned towards the door again . Pressing the button once more , she gave it another try .

A- This is Tej Trivedi , open .

The green circle popped up for the door went wide open pulled back from either sides to make way in the middle . And there was no sound operation happening all the while , Rudra jumped in excitement . Om nodded when shivaay showed him a thumbs up .

Breach alarms neglected.

All the four put on the helmets and walked in,soon the door closed up after they entered .

A white heaven space , that's what the spot looked like . While shivaay tried breaking into the master room there annika straightly walked towards the first cell block .

Her eyes watered as soon as she stopped her legs in front of the cell .

The boy was seated quietly at one corner staring at nothing in particular. A standard hospital gown is what he was wearing. He didn't even notice annika's presence there .

She signalled Rudra to pass his mobile . With the video in it , she captured the code which sharon used on the first door . Shivaay who noticed her restless behaviour, stopped his work and came to stand by her .

A- veer , veer

It was useless talking with that helmet on . Only when she came in and stood by the grill cage , the boy noticed her there . He didn't respond though . She quickly tried to remove the helmet but shivaay stopped her . He couldn't succeed as she did remove it stubbornly , he followed her an did the same.

S- what are you doing annika !

A- I already checked the radiator , there are no magnetic waves , reading is zero . No radiations .

She shouted to insist this and turned towards the boy again.

A- veer

She called for him extending her arm through the gap between the grill . Shivaay looked somewhat tensed and cautious as he saw the boy walking towards her.

Om and Rudra scanned the other cells to witness strange things . Medium sized containers holding kind of samples inside .

She smiled through her tears when he came and gripped her hand . Shivaay remained totally invested in the moment and stood alert .

A- veer , annika , you recognize me right ?

S- annika hold yourself , he's not our veer .

A - I don't care .

She cried watching what she saw infront of her eyes.

Annika couldn't think of anything, the scenes of her brother loosing his life to save her's kept haunting her . Getting to see the same little boy once again infront of her made her go blind of everything else .

She was shook when shivaay suddenly kicked the boy who fell back far inside the cage .

A - shivaay !

Crushing his collars within her fists, she roared loudly . Om and Rudra came running towards them .

S- look at your hand annika .

He jolted back and insisted .

That's when she brought her sight to her hands and removed the gloves. Her hand was covered with scratch marks, and blood oozed out from certain spots. She was so into her thoughts and failed to even realize what actually happened with her.

S- fool !

He stressed the word and grabbed a cloth to tie it around her hand . While he did that she remained still with the same shaken face and slowly turned to look inside the cage .

He kept staring at the four innocently , quietly, she was confused .

A- please never do such things infront of me again , if you do

She stopped just there and made rest of the warning through her eyes before walking away from there . Shivaay gritted his teeth and sighed with rage clearly visible in his eyes .

The room had same voice system, she helped them open it .

S- Rudra login to the system .

R- yep

He immediately pulled a chair and sat infront of the computer to deal with the protocols and break into the system .

As she noticed the cell blocks one by her her eyes emerged out big . Every container had a growing embryo inside, each going through different stages of development though. This is everything beyond what she could actually expect of this place , she was thrilled .

Shivaay picked out the books arranged on the shelf randomly and checked them .

He kept the books there and went near the system when Rudra called.

R- you might wanna look at these , files seem kind of strange .

S- bank statements, transaction records . Well , seems like Mr.Trivedi has got big hands on the black market too .

Annika who stood behind Rudra scanning those files keenly , suddenly pointed out something .

A- here here , preetha .

He navigated to that particular file named preetha .

She went through the file quietly. The report spoke preetha's entire biological status. While going through it , she remained stuck up with one point and soon behaved shocked on realizing something.

A- veer carries preetha's kidney now .

S- what !

A- she's a perfect donor considering his criteria , I read all the details attached near his concubine.

' what have you been doing down here annika ?'

The four turned around at once, holding their loaded guns aimed at any moving thing against them .

The sight infront shook them enough , they remained frozen as ice on seeing Vrushali and Sharon standing by either sides of Tej , each pointing a machine gun aimed straight at them.
