A- grandma no , I can't come this week . First hear me out ,I'm really busy this week , orelse why would I miss visiting you . Hmm...Neela promise .

She hung up the call and started coughing badly . Recreating someone's voice exactly is indeed annika's speciality but the struggle is real . She cleared her throat until she could feel some ease and grabbed a glass of water soon .

Vrushali's parents had split up when she was young. They even married someone else separately , vrushali decided to come out of this . And her grandma was the only hope for her .

She took her in and helped vrushali in every way she could. Vrushali's dream of becoming a doctor wouldn't have come true if her grandma hadn't sold all her jewels and properties.

' Neela will be so happy ' Annika still remembers vrushali's words which she said while selecting a small gold ring for her grandma with the first stipend she had received.

Annika was never good in making friends, but in vrushali's case , it just happened .

She wanted to call and tell everything to grandma first , but after hearing the old Neela's innocent complains in that call , annika lost her strength. Still, she just decided to buy sometime until she finds vrushali , hope she will . Making an old lady suffer in misery of not knowing where and how to find her child seemed like a sin for annika , she couldn't tell her .

Only when sharon came near and insisted her to look upon she snapped out from her web of thoughts and noticed the call .

A- thanks.

Muttering the word , she quickly swiped the green .

A- hello .

The line seemed dead from the other side , none answered at first .

A- hello who's this ?

Annika's eyes peeped out of the sockets on hearing that voice .

A- vrushali !

V- can't hear you annika .

Her voice hardly seemed ok .Annika caught a grip of herself and ran upstairs to the terrace of the building.

A- he hello vrushali, can you hear me ? Vrushali are you! Are you ok ?

She shouted to sound every kind of loud .

V- please take me from here annika .

Annika could hear vrushali's hard cries . She pressed the phone to her ear and shouted again.

A- I'm coming to get you vrushali, just tell me where you are ,please.

V - I ...I'm at ...

A- vrushali please don't stop talking .

V- I'm...ba baiya can you tell this place's address to my friend ,please ?

' hello'

A- yeah hel hello .

' This place is near the Nh1 highways , if you reach here and ask for the old bus stand they would tell you . And just take the second left from that bus stand . You can see this small hotel .'

A- second...left ok , thank you so much .

She wrote down the details in her note immediately.

V- annika I'm hurting inside , I don't kn

A- vrushali I'm on my way now , please wait for me there . Don't go anywhere , be with the people there. I'm coming.

Om- but still , how can you let her go alone ?

S- she called , told she got a call from vrushali and that she was going to get her . Then she just hung up .

Om spat anger through his eyes when shivaay narrated everything casually.

Om- shivaay will you be serious ! This case is becoming more of what we could think .

S- I tried calling her , she won't answer .

He actioned shaking the mobile in his hand , Om knew there was no use in talking to him after this . He grabbed his mobile and started dialing for her when suddenly a message popped out in both their mobiles simultaneously.

The message had some location link along with the coordinates.

Om- what's this ?

Shivaay just shrugged his shoulders when Om questioned curiously.

Om- you've been tracking her ?

S- not me rather the device is tracking her movement , ofcourse I put it in her bag and just switched it on though . We'll be getting updates within every 10 minutes from now on. Hope yours is fully charged .

Admitting these details shivaay straightly went to his room and started working on his laptop seriously. Here Om stood immobile in his place watching all this . Shivaay and his deeds are never normal .

She sat near the bed holding vrushali's hand within her warm palms. Annika realized today that her emotions can even create compassion for people in pain . Normally she used to do her job and that's it with the patients . But today when she saw vrushali's half life state once she got there , something inside her ripped apart to make her feel worst .

This second none not even vrushali had idea of what actually happened with her , except annika .

She was processing in mind what to tell her once she wakes up , because things were worse beyond imagination . Annika couldn't bring herself to reveal it .

Shivaay and Om waited outside the ward . Both did notice annika's frozen state , she looked vulnerable.

S - enough ,we should go in .

Om- let's wait for vrushali .

S- but I think

He stopped on noticing slight movement in vrushali's body . They both rushed inside .

She struggled and feared to open her eyes first , only after hearing annika's voice vrushali was able to make it . Fresh tears rolled down to fall on either sides of her eyes as soon as she opened them .

A- vrushali you're ok , you're with me .

Vrushali brought herself to sit up . She watched Om and Shivaay one by one strangely . Annika pressed her hold to make her feel assured .

V- what ...happened, to me?

Annika gulped taking a breathe in when vrushali asked with her hands inserted into the gown . Shivaay and Om looked clueless.

V - annika !

Annika blinked suddenly as vrushali shrieked.

S- annika what's happening here ?

She looked at him in the eyes , shivaay already knew something was very wrong . His heart rate raised within each second of her silence. Vrushali kept tracing her hand on feeling some dressing made below her stomach region , she was terrified and kept watching annika curiously.

A- you lost a kidney.

Tears ran down her eyes and she admitted it , vrushali palmed her mouth with her eyes shouting insane shock . Shivaay and Om remained equally thrilled .

V- neela had an ac..cident they said , I went ...couldn't get tickets . I took the ,..unreserved compartment . I don't remember any thing after ....when I...woke up I didn't know...where ... then I called you

Vrushali couldn't even speak properly as she kept whimpering continuously. Annika kept holding vrushali in her embrace throughout .

After hearing all this ,Om hesitated at first but couldn't stop from asking .

Om- did , did you find something weird in preetha's death ?

A- Om it's not the time .

Om remained quiet when annika strictly insisted .

V- I did .

A- vrushali not now .

S- atleast we should know why this happened right!

A- shivaay , please .

S- don't do please with me annika, she almost lost her life and you don't want to find the reason ? Don't be so numb , for God sake feel something in you annika !

A frustrated shivaay just blasted out suddenly. He couldn't just swallow what happened with vrushali .

Annika watched his red shot eyes with her's being equally as sharp as his .

Holding her eyes on him she slowly loosened her grip on vrushali and stood up to walk straight till him.

The high pitched sound came out really loud in that silent space when annika slapped him hard . He slowly took his palm near his cheek and didn't leave his eyes off the floor.

She then threw a small piece of paper straight at his face , he blinked a few times when the edge of the sheet hit his eyes .

A - I can feel too, I felt and I do feel just one thing after witnessing this thing stitched on her skin . Fear.

The others including vrushali herself were freaked out on hearing annika's words . Shivaay watched her without making a blink for a complete moment, she did the same to show him how dangerous things were .

It was Om who snapped out from the moment and picked the paper on the floor .

' Lay down regarding Preetha's death , if not , sure as a doc you know what a human would become without a heart '

Vrushali shivered and shrinked herself together .What she just heard literally gave those chills . She became miserable.

Shivaay was unable to process anything in his mind all the while when Om read it .

Annika went and hugged her tightly when vrushali begged Shivaay and Om .

R- come on come on babe please ! Just help me please , come on .

Rithi saw him speaking to the computer while typing fastly .

Rithi- what are you doing ?

R- ohh you're here , I...just do some cool stuffs you know.

Rithi - they say you're the hacker guy , are you?

R- I think yes .

Rithi - so you must be knowing big tricks .

Rudy approved as soon as she questioned him eagerly .

R- yup again !

Rithi - can you help me persuade my sister then , help me with any trick ?

He stopped doing his work and rolled his chair around to face her .

R- your sister ? Rithi or ...annika ?

Rudra behaved quiet intimidated while mentioning the second name but Rithi looked totally pissed off already .

Rithi - gosh you can't help me .

She shook her head and turned to leave but he caught her hand immediately.

R - hey why is that ?

Rithi - I am Rithi , you couldn't even recognize this how will you help me then ? You're not smart enough .

He bit her tongue and knocked his own head .

R- uhh actually if you give me some time, then I'm sure I'll pass this test . Now please tell me what should I help you with ?

Rithi - hmm I'm not convinced yet ,sorry you're not smart .

R- hey hey Riya sorry Rithi wait !

He narrowed his eyes at the small kid who quickly ran out from his hold after just pulling the dangerous string of his ego . Rudra turned around and focused on the system keenly.

R- everyone underestimates me ,I am smart and I will prove it !

He typed the next series of digits which he had got after calculating all the other possibilities. He looked determined and curious .

Om- this time is not like the others shivaay, it looks beyond our reach .

Shivaay kept his eyes on the sheet particularly and didn't speak anything.

Om- vrushali is here , that's more important for us now .

Om was getting irritated, why won't he speak ! He noticed shivaay rubbing his cheek quietly.

Om - it hurts?

Shivaay frowned at his question and Om chose to be clear this time.

Om- what annika did , it hurts ?

He asked pointing shivaay's cheek this time and there was an immediate smirk on shivaay's face .

S- she has shown me worse ... Let's just go Om ,please .

Om didn't respond to that, he quickly inserted the key and started the engine.

Om- shut the door shivaay .

S- hmm?

Om - the door .

Shivaay snapped out from his thoughts and gripped the handle . He swung the door halfway but stopped it soon on feeling something .

Noticing someone's hand gripping his wrist tightly , he moved his eyes towards the owner of that hand .

It was her .

Shivaay became stiff . Annika's chest kept pounding front and back as she stopped just few seconds ago after running all the way out till here.

A- I...I don't want to let this go .

She muttered these words desperately. Shivaay took a second to look at her hand once, he blinked slowly holding his breath for the next few seconds until

A- I want to... find who did this to vrushali ...help me .

He sighed immediately and moved his hand for she released her grip soon .

Om - yeah wait what, you got it ?!

Both were distracted when Om suddenly exclaimed while answering his phone .
