Leyland Adventures Chapter Three: Part Three

Rushing through harrowing rain, her only concern remains on the egg. She held it near her stomach while her wet wings pushed through the pitiless storm. As the outer shell dripped with rain, the creature began to absorb the heat emitting from her body and grew at an alarming rate. Liberate from her mother-like grasp, the dragon achieved its adult size. The scaly, maroon skin glowed as a great roar exploded. Its butterscotch eyes zoomed on her, staring with paper-thin pupils.

Millions of thoughts were ignored as the dragon launched its tail towards her; only to miss.

Collecting itself, the beast swung its razor sharp claws at her. She rose a fist to counter it, swinging with godly force. Her body was met with a raging tsunami of flames; directly leaping towards the source and striking Prohenis. His massive body was shot through the land like a bowling ball before retreating to the perilous skies. With an army of fireballs targeting her, Aradressa took an elongated inhale. She delivered a tremendous burst of flames which sped through the air; overpowering the fireballs and damaging a wing.

Enraged, he dived head-first at recklessly high speeds, cutting wind itself. Her eyes sparkled with fury as the beast was halted by a hand. The wind scattered in bursts as his momentum froze; the heavy clutch on its snout marked the end of the battle. A sudden thrust of chilling steel dug through its throat and emerged outwards. Blood erupted on the gleaming blade she held with a spare hand before silting the neck faster than a human could blink. Streams of crimson liquids gathered on her dress. Heavenly light surrounded the dragon, the corpse faded. In its absence, the Flame Gemstone was presented.

Just as she reached for the flame-shaped gem, a familiar voice nabbed her attention.

"Aradressa!"

She turned, only to visually perceive Tysashi running like a mad man. Once her figure was in view; he paused at a horrible sight. Splats of blood covered her purity with the silver blade showering in the rain. During their extensive staring contest, the internal earthquake settled as his still lips finally moved.

"A- Aradressa."

"Tysashi..."

"So that's how this transpired; you were invested in protecting it?" Marissa asked.

"Yes, mother. Despite my beliefs, Tysashi was correct. The battle itself hardly presented a challenge, though that is expected of me." Her eyes returned to the plate.

"You never encountered those creatures; this matter is quite irrelevant as you both are now informed."

Tysashi nodded while in his sleepwear; gazing at Aradressa's pure figure as she stared back. An approving smile appeared on the queen; glaring at the charming interaction between her daughter and the boy from Lenovo.

After dinner, Aradressa found Tysashi sleeping in a fetal position. Light snores escaped from his mouth as she began writing to the tune of his snores.

Diary Entry #3

"Tysashi discovered an egg during our successful hunt for a Funni Fruit and Nectar Flowers. His intention was to eradicate the egg as he believed Prohenis would be inside. Despite the likely possibility of that prediction being veridical, I relucted to follow with his plan and constructed my own. An irreprehensible life is something I cannot promote myself to capture. I was hoping he'd neglect those thoughts at Lunia Lake... though when I completed explaining the war, he became silent. He was incredibly agog to learn about it; though it seems as if I stepped on an emotional minefield. I had faith that ice cream would clear his mind, but I failed again. He left shortly after; entrusting me with the egg. In the cessation, Tysashi was right. Prohenis reached peak size in mere seconds and I defeated him. I never thought he'd come looking for me during the storm. When our eyes met, it felt as if I encountered him again. I'm more than positive the gruesome image of a fairy painted in blood will never exit his recollection. He'll get used to this, lamentablyI'm pleased to know our remarkable friendship hasn't been altered; it'd be a nightmare if anything changed. I should head to my dreams now... I wouldn't wish to be seen half-awake during the competition."

End Of Entry Three

Placing her body between a sheet and mattress, the princess inched over to Tysashi. With their backs facing each other, she stepped into a dark void.

"Goodnight, Tysashi. Best of luck tomorrow."
