"What restaurant were you thinking of?" I ask casually as I take one last drink of my coffee.

Hobi only shakes his head. "The restaurants are closed. We're going somewhere else." He pauses before giving me a gentle smile. "How would you feel if we got the food back at the dorm?"

It takes a moment for my brain to process his request.

"You mean... your dorm?"

"Yes." He smiles proudly, "I make an excellent breakfast toast. And Taehyungie can make nurungji with our leftover rice. It'll be great!"

"Am I even allowed to go inside your dorm?" I ask nervously, trying not to look out the window. "Would that be breaking some kind of rule?"

Hobi only smiles, "Not if you're there with our permission. I already talked with Namjoon while waiting for coffee. It's okay."

I blink a few times before quickly bowing in my seat. "Thank you, again. I know I keep saying it but I feel like I should."

Hobi smiles warmly at me. "I already told you that I want to help you. This is part of the deal."

"Should I do anything in return?" I almost regret asking it but I felt like I should say it.

Hobi shakes his head and waves me off with one hand. "Of course not. Then it wouldn't be right." He tugs on the mask around his neck before pulling it over his face. "Now all we need to figure out is your living situation for the next four weeks."

"Hobi... that is too much," I attempt to reason with him. "I... I will be fine..."

He only pats my shoulder and gives me a reassuring look. "I'd feel terrible if you ended up on a bench again. Let me help you." He looks down at his hand on my shoulder and frowns a little. "You're really wet," he states.

I nod, slightly leaning away from him. "Yeah... I'm sorry about the seats."

"No, it's not that. You must be freezing."

"I was just going to change at the next stop or something..."

"You should change when we get home. Right away. I'm surprised you haven't frozen in those clothes..."

He drives through the massive city with ease but his eyes are bright with duty. He's a man on a mission. On a mission for me. Something about that makes my heart feel fuzzy.

We reach the gates of his neighborhood just before six. He brakes at the entrance and greets the largely built security guard. He talks animatedly with the guard, despite the early morning, and asks how his night was. The guard gladly answers Hobi's questions before opening the gate for him. Hobi gives the guard a wide smile, thanking him for his service, and drives into the gated community.

I stare in utter awe at the beautifully manicured lawns and massive modern-esc apartment buildings. This must be where all the rich people live...The neighborhood is built into a massive hill, far from the chaos of the city. The streets of the area are completely empty and most of the lights in the wide windows are dark.

"I must warn you," he begins with a growing smile, "everybody in our dorm has pulled an all-nighter. They can be fairly wild when they become hyper."

I smile nervously, "Then I'll fit right in. I stayed up too."

"We'll all just sleep-deprived kids," he comments lightly and laughs. "Just remember, don't wake up Yoongi-hyung, and don't let Taehyungie hug you, okay?"

Wait, what?

Hobi smoothly pulls into a cobblestone driveway and drives into an open garage space. He parks and quickly unbuckled. He gestures for me to grab the drinks in the back, "Help me with the drinks. I'll grab your things."

My eyes pop open and I am about the protest but he is already leaving the car. He runs to the back and begins grabbing my things. I quickly unbuckle, taking my trash with me, and reach back to grab the other drinks. Carefully, I exit the car to avoid spilling and close the door with the bump of my hip.

Hobi rounds the car with both of my backpacks slung over his back and my tote bag in his hand. He quickly gestures for me to follow him, "Come on. We need to reach them before they fall asleep."

"Wait a second!" I try to call but he's already disappearing into the darkness of the garage. I jog after him, balance the drink carriers in both hands, and realize the garage is larger than expected. I reach the end of the garage and find Hobi opening the security-laced door for me.

I shrink into myself as I pass him, entering the apartment.

I am greeted with a wall of shoes.

I stop short and stare at the massive shoe rack in front of me. I have only seen this many shoes in stores. Not only that, the shoes are marked with labels with designs I've never seen before. I inch past it and turn left, entering a long gray hallway.

I begin to hear an echo of excited voices travel down the hall. The smell of stale cologne and warm rice fills the air and grows stronger as I walk towards the end of the hall. I crinkle my nose from the weird smell combination but it's better than Kyu's place by far.

Hobi comes up behind me and gestures for me to move quickly. I shoot him a panicked look, "Are you sure this is okay?"

He nods quickly, "Of course. I talked with RM when I was waiting for drinks. Don't worry about it."

He's not telling me something.

Even on a good day, I'd have trouble trying to argue with somebody because I can barely speak in the first place. My total exhaustion is of no help in my case.

He has helped me so far, I should trust him for that. His intentions are pure.

Hobi moves past me and practically sprints to the end of the hall. I pick up the pace, fearing I may get lost in this massive apartment, and follow close behind.

Finally, we come to another door Hobi has to unlock with a keycard. He leans back against the door and lets me go through first.

I mentally brace myself for whatever lies beyond the door. I heard that BTS tends to be chaotic during interviews with enough energy to rival their fans, but surely it was only because of the cameras?

I'm going to meet BTS in person, in their house, after they pulled an all-nighter together.

The second I came into the living room, my entire view of the world-famous idols was thrown out the window.

"THE FLOOR IS LAVA!! GUYS, DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE RULES OF THIS GAME? GET OFF THE FLOOR!!"

"HE FREAKING PUSHED ME!!"

"No no no! You're already dead!! Now you're the lava monster! You have to drag us off! STAY ON THE GROUND!"

What could have been a nicely decorated living room with tan couches and elegant design looks like a tornado passed through it. The couches are spread across the room like islands, their cushions are tossed onto the ground, and random chairs are scattered around the room making paths across the room.

Lying on the ground like a dying warrior is a smaller boy with dirty blonde hair with a pout tugging at his pretty lips. His jaw locks as he glares up at the boy standing on the edge of a couch and towering over him. The boy on the couch grins victoriously, flashing his bunny-like teeth, and laughs maniacally.

Another boy leaps from one couch to another and nearly faceplants. He scrambles to his feet and balances himself on the bare couch. He glances over his shoulder with a wide grin, his dark eyes gleam with excitement, and beckons another guy on the opposite couch. "Jin-hyung you have to jump!"

Jin is standing up on a chair with a wounded expression as if he were arguing about how unfair something was. He scans the floor with intense focus before whining, "Ashh... I can't go anywhere!" he complains loudly.

"Jiminie's dead!" the boy who pushed "Jiminie" off the couch sings as he bounces up and down. His long dark hair floats up in the air with each jump.

"That's not fair!" the dead man screams back as he runs his hand through his hair, exposing his sweaty forehead.

It looks like they've been playing for hours.

"It looks like they woke up," Hobi appears at my side with a growing smile. "Good thing or this coffee would be for nothing."

I stare at the scene in shock, unsure how to react. I keep thinking about how my presence will ruin what they are doing. They'll hate me for coming here. I'm a stranger. I feel like I shouldn't be here.

"Now you have to attack us!" the boy with the wide smile tells the guy on the ground. "Try to pull us off!"

"Jimin-sshi!!" Hobi shouts, scaring the life out of me. "Go for Jin-hyung!!"

Jimin whips around at the loud voice of Hobi with new mischievous light in his eyes. He breaks into a large smile causing his eyes to squeeze shut, "You're back!"

"I brought a friend!" Hobi sings proudly and makes a wide gesture to me, despite the bags weighing his shoulders. "Introducing Kae Ara!"

I stiffen in fear, unsure if I should drop the drinks and run back to the car. Every head snaps in my direction with a range of expressions but most of what I see is confused.

I hold my breath, waiting for somebody to snap.

Oh no...

CLASH!

I make a soft squeak of surprise and look towards the other side of the room where I assume is a kitchen. Jin, the man on the chair, groans in response and makes eye contact with Jimin, "Where's Monnie?"

Kim Namjoon is the only member's name that comes to mind when I think of BTS because of the interviews I've seen. He's their leader.

Out stumbles the leader of BTS with a look of sheer heartbreak on his face. His jaw tightens with frustration before he holds up his shattered phone for all to see.

Jimin whines, tossing his head back, "Again?"

Namjoon sighs heavily and stares at his phone in disappointment. "I should invest in phone companies... they must make thousands off of me."

"Namjoonie!" Hobi breaks the moment of silence for the dead phone, "I brought Ara-sshi!"

Namjoon's sad expression is erased in an instant and suddenly, he's making direct eye contact with me. I felt a shudder of fear travel down my spine, terrified he'll yell at me for being here. In my mind, it doesn't matter if Hobi invited me. It doesn't matter what anybody says or thinks. I can't stop thinking of myself as a burden for others.

Namjoon's eyes are sharp at the corners and filled with an unreadable emotion. He has cinnamon blond hair that is dark with sweat and a flat nose that is rounded at the end making it "boop-able" despite his intimidating stare. Many people might overlook it, but he is just as attractive as the others with his plump, heart-shaped lips that could rival Jimin and Jin's. His features actually look better without makeup.

What do you think? What are you going to do?

His sharp eyes begin to melt with understanding reminding me of chocolate. He smiles sweetly making his dimples appear and he crosses the room to greet me. He bows respectfully and takes a drink carrier from my hand, "Hello, it's nice to meet you."

So professional. So cool.

I blink a few times and bow respectfully to him. "It's--, It's nice to meet you too."

Jin raises an eyebrow and looks over us from his vantage point. "I must have missed something."

Namjoon turns to the other members with a warm smile, shrugging. "We're helping her out for a bit. I asked you guys earlier."

"Oh..." Jimin trails off and stares down at the ground, collecting his thoughts. "I must have forgotten."

"It's the lack of sleep," Hobi offers breezily. "Enough of that, we come bearing gifts!"

The boy who continues to jump on the couch lights up at the mention of gifts and leaps off the edge. He comes barreling towards us causing me to draw back in surprise. He stops short in front of me, he's much taller than expected and searches the drinks in my hand with a furrowed brow. "Did you get my... ah!" He picks out the frappucino and gives Hobi a grateful smile. "Thanks, hyung!"

"Ahhh Jungkookie," Hobi replies warmly and tries to ruffle his messy black hair.

Jungkook ducks away and grins mischievously. He rushes away and returns to his spot, resuming his bouncing, and taking careful sips from his straw.

I glance nervously at Hobi and Namjoon, uncertain if my presence is actually welcome. Hobi notices my discomfort and carefully rests his hand on my shoulder, "Don't worry," he says kindly, "try to relax. You need a break."

Namjoon nods in agreement and looks over me. "You do need a change of clothes?"

"Oh," I glance down at my soaked clothes that begin to chafe my skin. I would feel a little better out of these miserable clothes. "Yes. I have clothes with me... is there a restroom I can use..?"

Namjoon nods, "Of course. Follow me. You may use one of our guest rooms to store your things..."

I watch him with deep gratitude in my eyes. "Thank you so much," I say as I bow once again.

"You're welcome. And it's no problem at all," he answers smoothly. He beckons me to follow him as he sets the drinks on the nearby coffee table.

I follow close behind, scared I may get lost, and try not to stare at the boys still standing on the furniture like it was the most natural thing in the world.

A/N: The chapters are getting longer because I am slowly becoming more comfortable with this style of writing! What do you guys think of the boys so far? I'd give anything to play  "The Floor is Lava" with them. Also in this version of "reality", the Life Goes On album is not yet released, Yoogni had shoulder surgery and is recovering at the dorm, and the lockdown provides the members with a four-week vacation. The songs placed at the beginning of each chapter is meant to reflect the chapter title or joke but not always the /mood/ of the chapter. Take care of yourselves, lovelies as the world returns to lockdown! Wear comfy pajamas until further notice~
