Splendid arrested the raccoon twins and put them into custody but unfortunately Splendont had an alternative plan for Lifty. Shifty was kept in a cell far away from Liftys who was tied up in chains to a pole in the basement where they torture criminals. The younger raccoon was terrified of the situation as the Splendont kept whipping him until his mouth bled out. For several days Lifty stayed down there injured, bruised, and beat up. Shifty fortunately escaped and killed Splendont because he told him that Lifty was dead Shifty was depressed and went home with a shrug but with tears too. But unfortunately Splendont lied Lifty was alive he was just left to die. Lifty was handcuffed and leg locked and hurting waiting for him to die. He was crying until the door opened he thought it was Splendont at first but then he realized it was Splendid. He had a concern look on his face that made Lifty shocked and frightened. Splendid put a hand on his shoulder and said, are you alright? Lifty whimpered as if he forgotten how to talk his lips quivered as if he knew he will hurt him. He crawled towards Splendid weak and battered. Liftys eyes were filled with tears as they fell down his face. Splendid used his laser vision to cut the handcuffs and leg locks off of Lifty and succeeded. Splendid took out his hand and whispered, take my hand Lifty it's okay I won't hurt you I promise you that I will never harm you. Lifty hesitated then slowly reached out for his hand and stood up slowly and whispered, thank you. Splendid and Lifty walked out hand in hand as they exited Splendonts secret criminal torture room. For the very first time Lifty felt peaceful when he's with Splendid.
