Yugi's point of view:

The faces of people who I didn't know drifted through my vision but all I could think about was that boy who looked like me, Yami was his name, I smiled no one had ever cared about me, my parents always abused me and never let me go to school saying that I was a disappointment and a disgrace to the family, why was everyone so mean.

Yami's point of view:

I was lying on the couch, remote in hand flicking through the channels, the suddenly the phone rung, I quickly scrambled to grab it, it could be the hospital phoning about Yugi! "hello" I asked.

"Hey Yami how's it going" I sighed in annoyance I really wanted to hear what had happened to Yugi "hey Yami you there"

"Yeah I'm here Joey" I heard some laughter in the distance "who is that?" I asked.

"It's me Seto" said an annoying voice "and I just stole Joeys phone" I could hear Joeys protests in the background.

"Give the phone back to Joey Seto" he man just laughed.

"Oh come on cousin don't you want to speak to me" i face-palmed and the home phone started to ring "Yami what is that"

"It's the other phone you smart ass" there was a stunned silence from Seto, and some laughter from Joey "now hold on it might be important" I put down my phone and picked up the second one "hello this is Yami speaking"

"Ah hello young man we just called to say that the man that you called us about yesterday is up and talking" I jumped off the couch and sprinted outside "yeah I'm on my way thank you" I hanged up on the phone and ran down the rest of the way to the hospital, and it was a good workout maybe about 5 miles, I jogged through the doors and walked up to the reception lady.

"Hey I got a call from here about a boy called Yugi" the lady looked up.

"Are you talking about Yugi Muto" I nodded that sounded just about right "okay it's room 161" I nodded and walked down the hallway and passed by heaps of rooms filled with patients and grieving family's, this place was horrible, ah room 161, I walked into the room and there on the bed sat the boy, Yugi

"Hello Yugi" the boy looked up and smiled at me "your looking a bit better" he laughed.

"Yeah thanks" he smiled at me his eyes where a beautiful colour of amythyst "anyway I would like to thank you from yesterday" I grinned at him.

"No problem" I sat on the chair next to him and smiled at him kindly, the way his eyes shone with happiness every time he laughed "you should be getting some rest" he nodded and raised and eyebrow at me.

"So should you, you look like you didn't sleep at all last night" I pouted cutely and Yugi laughed at my expression, and lay back down on the bed "goodnight Yami" and with that he closed his eyes and fell asleep. my hand drifted to his forehead and stroked his hair out of his eyes.

"Goodnight my little one" I gave him a quick kiss on his head and settled down into the chair, and shortly after I to was taken off into the land of dreams.
