Hello Wattpadians! This is just something random I wrote about two OCs I helped Thorgirl1 create. Vicki and Xavier, my two favorite characters in her story, Armathinia. Enjoy!

*********************************************

Xavier saw Vicki, sitting on the river bank, watching the water run by. He sat down next to her, and also stared into the moving river, seeing little creatures swimming happily. Silence hovered around them until Vicki spoke, "Shouldn't you be helping Karl?"

"Nah, he wanted me to take a break," he told her, looking into her sad face. It had been quite some time since he had seen her big, beautiful smile that caused her chocolate brown eyes to squint. He desperately wanted to wrap an arm around her, but did not attempt, fearing that she would punch him.

Peaceful silence fell between them. A slight breeze ruffled their hair and clothes. The wind blew Vicki's brown hair in her face. She brushed it aside and sighed loudly, "Well, I guess since you're here, we should do something." She bent over and started removing her shoes.

"What do you have in mind?" Xavier asked, following her example.

"I'm interested in seeing the waterfall that's not too far down river," Vicki tucked her socks into her boots and waded into the river, "And there's no better way then wading down to see it."

Xavier smiled, and followed her. They had walked not too far down when the roaring of the waterfall was heard. Vicki stepped onto the grass and looked over the edge, mist spraying into her face as the wind blew. The sun's rays bathed her, making all her features shine. Xavier stared at her as she stood there. She turned her head to look at him and a mischievous grin spread across her face.

She waded up to him where he still stood knee deep in the water, grabbed his arm, and pulled him closer to the edge.

"What are you doing?" he asked, worriedly.

"We're going to jump off," she told him, pulling harder and tightening her grip.

"Are you crazy?!" Xavier jerked his arm free and looked at her, bewildered.

She stomped behind him and began pushing on his back, "Yeah I'm crazy, let's go!"

"No," Xavier planted his feet in the mud below.

"Are you trying to tell me that you're scared?" Vicki asked, trying to push Xavier closer to the edge of the waterfall. They now stood waist deep in the running water.

"No, I'm trying to tell you that it is impossible to survive a fall at this height, even if there's water down there."

"Come on, trust me, It'll be fun," Vicki grunted, pushing harder.

"It's very hard to trust someone who's trying to shove you off a cliff!" Xavier stepped to the side and Vicki lost her footing, falling into the water. She didn't come back up.

"Vicki?" Xavier's eyes scanned the water. Panicking, he called, "Vicki!?" and waded to the edge, where the river plunged into the small lake below.

"Gottcha!" he heard Vicki shout from behind as she tackled him off the edge.

As they fell, Victoria swirled the falling waters around them and they landed with a safe splash. They surfaced and Xavier chased Vicki to the shore. She laughed so hard that she inhaled water several times and still found energy to laugh after coughing out all the water when they crawled onto shore. They lay on their backs next to each other, the warm afternoon sun attempting to dry their wet clothes.

"See? Fun?" Vicki panted, turning her head to look at Xavier, brushing wet hair out of her face.

A grin spread across Xavier's face, "I'm a bad influence to you."
