Marinette's  POV:

  I laughed when Adrien tells Nino off.

  I  looked up when the door to the room opened.

 I frowned.

 It was the doctor.

  I listened as he explained, "I believe Adrien needs surgery to remove the rest of the scrap metal."

   "What happens if it is not removed?"  I dared to ask.

     "The infection will kill him," I  heard the doctor respond.

       I  nodded my head to show I understood.

        I waited until the doctor left the room.

       "Adrien, did you understand what he said?"

           "Yes, and I agree to have it removed."

            "Okay, I will wait for you. I promise. I am not going anywhere."

               I  kissed him.

               I held his hand while he was given the medicine to make him rest.

                I   watched as he was taken away for surgery.

                 I sat in the room as I waited.

                I waited and waited.

               I fell asleep.

              I  did not find out until hours later how successful the surgery was for him.

               I  must say when I awakened  I was happy.

              I   was told Adrien's infection would take a few days to clear up completely.

              I     remembered he received a small blood transfusion as well.

            I loved  Adrien who was also my kitty and still do.
