SUMMARY:

Cintri wished she was dead.

Her entire life, her entire purpose had been a lie and now she was all alone, drifting through space in an empty home that used to be filled with laughter.

She was an Eternal, chosen by Arishem to protect the planet Veria. She fought the Deviants with her fellow Eternals by her side. With the light of the sun in her hands, she'd fought to protect the Verionians. Until the true intentions of their great leader were revealed and the planet was destroyed in order for a new Celestial to be born.

Cintri only escaped because her best friend Prometheus sacrified his last breath to hide her in their ship and send it away from the planet. After that she was all alone, betrayed and broken. She wished she'd died alongside her friends on Veria because she knew there was no other place she could ever call home.

Until her ship crashed on a planet about to suffer the same fate as her beloved Veria. She was ready to make prepares as fast as possible, her broken heart afraid to become attached again. But it was because of him that she stayed. Because he was the one she needed to find, to remember the light.

NOTES:

- Okay since I absolutely adored the Eternals I HAD TO MAKE A FIC. But since I'm way too busy and already have way too many fics,  I thought I'd put this in my shop for now. Maybe I'll write it myself one day but for now it's up for you guys to use!

- I came up with this plot while listening to remembrance by fleurie and tommee profitt. So I'd recommand listening to it if you're interested in this plot :)

- So Cintri is an Eternal as well. She can manipulate and use sunlight to her will, using it to make things grow faster or to set fires. She and the rest of her team, including her best friend Prometheus, were placed on the planet Veria. They all fell in love with the planet and its people and so their spirtual leader decided to tell them about Arishems plans. They tried to stop the birth of the Celestial, much like the Eternals in the movie do, but they failed. When it looked like they were about to lose, Cintri got wounded and Prometheus was the one who carried her to their ship and send the ship off into space, saving her life.

- Cintri spend time healing and grieving and wondering what her purpose was now that she lost everything she'd ever known. But the ship got damaged during the escape and it crash lands on earth in the amazon where Druig and his people live.

- At first Cintri wants to leave as soon as possible but Druig intrigues her and slowly they form a bond. Then the rest of the Eternals show up and she learns their planet is doomed as well. She wants to leave and does so but she's only just in space when she realises this isn't what her former team would've wanted her to do. So she turns back around and meets up with the Eternals again.

- She is there for the rest of the movie, helping them stop the birth of the Celestial. It's up you at which point she realises her feelings for Druig, but considering both their characters it shouldn't be too fast. Though I do think it'd be fun to give them a kind of flirty relationship.

- Also I think it'd be fun to include flashbacks from Cintri's time on Veria. This would add another layer to both her character and the story!
