SUMMARY:

Nina Jade had worn many masks in her life. She'd done so from the very start of her days. As a baby she'd been left at the door step of an orphanage without so much as a name. So, she made sure to make a name for herself. She fought her entire life to stand out, to make sure she was seen, to make sure she was known. She climbed her way from the bottom to the top, eventually securing a position of CEO of her very company in clean energy. The world knew her name, she'd made sure of it.

But no one at the top has a clean record and though Nina thought she made sure her past was hidden from the world, that illusion is shattered when she is approached by Obadiah Stane. The man holds a file filled with her darkest secret, her deepest regrets, a mask she used to wear a long time ago. And so Nina is forced to accept his request, to perserve her name and secure her future.

And soon Nina finds herself wrapped in a web of lies and deception. Pretending to be interested in a partnership with a man trying to reform his company from weapon manufacturer to clean energy provider, she makes a deal with the one and only Tony Stark. Her task is to get close, find out his secrets and brief it all to Obadiah Stane. She turned into his spy, his eyes and ears. Only so the man can bring ruin upon his former friend. It seemed like a simple task, just another mask she'd wear for a time before moving on. 

Though, she never counted on actually liking Tony Stark.

NOTES:

- I love this plot so much and I really hope someone wants to write this haha. First a little bit about Nina. She's a very clever, ambitious and passionate woman, but she's also very lonely. She's never had any real friends, only associates and her life basically revolves around her work. Her company is one of the biggest names in clean energy and she works very hard to make sure it stays that way.

- Nina reads in the news about Tony being missing but she's never met him and so she doesn't really care. When he is found, however, she is approached by Obadiah who tells her Tony wants to reform the company to produce clean energy using the ARC-Reactor, which would make him a huge competitor to Nina's company. Which is the argument Obadiah uses to get her interested in his offer to spy on Tony for him. When Nina refuses he gets out an old file with information about her past that could seriously harm her.

- The information is that one of her earliest coworkers stole her ideas and tried to sell them. When the police couldn't do anything about it, Nina took matters into her own hands and had him killed. She still has nightmares of that night and feels incredibly guilty about it. But since she doesn't want that information leaking, she agrees with Obadiahs proposal.

- She meets up with Tony, telling him she's interested in a partnership. At first they have a few business meetings, which soon turn into full on brainstorm sessions about how to improve current technology in clean energy. They stay up late in the office talking, ordering food while drowning in papers and ideas. And while Nina tries to get information out of him about his plans for the company's future and what he's working on in secret, she actually starts to like him.

- She is very serious about work, which is why Tony starts to call her Miranda Priestly.

- As they work and talk, Tony discovers she doesn't have much of a social life outside of work and so he offers to take her on a date. She agrees, telling herself it's to get more information but she knows it's about much more than that. After the date they go back to Tony's place and she stays the night. When she wakes up, Tony is down in his workshop, working on the Iron Man suit. She wakes up in bed alone and goes searching for him, she is surprised when she realises Tony has ordered JARVIS to give her clearing to the basement. She goes down there and discovers what Tony really has been doing all this time. They talk about it and she wants to be mad because she thinks it's dangerous, but part of her is very proud of him and so she can't stay mad.

- When she leaves Tony's house, she goes straight to Obadiah to try and convince Tony doesn't have some sort of secret master plan and that their agreement should end. Obadiah lets her leave, but has his men follow her because he doesn't believe her. They take her hostage and get try to get the information out of her but she refuses to tell. Only when they threaten to kill Tony does she tell them about the Iron Man suit.

- Obadiah goes to get the ARC-Reactor from Tony and while she's left alone, Nina manages to break free. She hurries to the company building and arrives just in time to see Tony order Pepper to blow up the ARC-Reactor. For a moment she thinks Tony is dead and she is shocked about how shaken that thought makes her.

- When Tony is in the hospital getting better from the attack, she goes to visit him and finds out Obadiah has told him everything. Tony doesn't want to see her anymore and she leaves him, watching his "I am Iron Man" speech on the television.

- They're unable to stay away from each other though and when Tony discovers he's dying in Iron Man 2, he searches for her again. He doesn't tell her he's dying but just shows up at her door and they spend another night together. He leaves in the morning but Nina isn't willing to let him go a second time and so she gets involved into the plot of Iron Man 2 as well.

- I only want them together at the very end of Iron Man 2, maybe even later if you want to cover more movies. Tony needs to time to forgive her and Nina needs time to forgive herself and figure out what she can do to become a better person, because Tony inspires her.

- You can write as many movies as you want. You can even write Tony making a suit for her eventually so she can join in with more of the action. But her first superpower is her skills for business and knowledge about clean energy. So maybe you could have her work with Tony on the Avengers Tower, since it's made of completely sustainable energy. Or maybe you can add in something about her working on making the Quinjets run on clean energy.

- Feel free to add in more details about her past. Maybe a flashback about the time she spend searching for her parents murder. It's all up to you!
