The days drag by painfully, reaching to Friday. Raph and I continued with our little adventures, pranking more teachers with the same method.
I've been managing to spend all afternoons with him doing absolutely nothing in his house yet enjoying it.

Its only been one solid week of actually meeting and speaking to Raph, and so much has happened. It feels like I've known him forever. My pleasure and excitement has only increased.

The last bell rings, sending us out of the building and I rush outside only to remember that Raph is absent today. He was not seen in the morning nor during lunch according to Liz and my mood disintegrates.

"Hey Leo!" I hear a female voice call me.

I turn to a female who is not a mutant, but a human. A very dark yet skilled human who somehow got herself enrolled in this school. I've only seen her a couple of times this whole year.

"Uh hey," I say.

"Its Karai. Remember me?" She is surrounded by some strange mutats that I've never seen. Maybe she isn't in this school? She looks so familiar though. Way too familiar.

"No. Am I suppose to?" I say nervously.

"Yeah," she replies. 'What are you up to?"

"Nothing," I mumble. "Gotta go."

I begin to walk away when I hear, "What a loser. Just like his dead parents."

I lose my breath and spin around with such a surprising rage filling inside me. "Excuse me?"

"Do you remember that Leo? Your parent's death?" Karai taunts and her buddies laugh.

The corners of my eyes are red as I glare at her with such intensity. "Stop."

"Don't get me wrong. They deserved it," she continues as she picks on her nails. "But it should've been you."

"You're wrong," I whimper. "Why are you talking about this?"

"Oh sweetie if only you knew about my family. Why should it matter though? Your family never really loved you."

I shiver against her words and back away. Flashes of my parents flow in my brain and my head begins to spin.

Suddenly I wish I was someone else. Someone who would talk back to her, even give her a good punch. But I'm Leo. And I've never discussed about my parents ever since their death. The topic makes my stomach turn and I begin to feel sick.

I dash away from them, trying to blink back tears. I run but I don't know where. No wait, yes I do.

To Raph.

"It should've been you. It should've been you. It should've been you."

I meet his house and open the door which is outstandingly unlocked.

True to my horrible luck, when I get there Raph is deeply drunk and my heart only sinks deeper.

"Raph," I squeak.

Raph doesn't look at me but he faces my direction. "Welcome to the home of the broken. Take a drink," he says with a dry laugh.

I've never been so scared yet so tempted in my whole life.

This is going to be a double update!^-^

I'm so sorry if you've messaged me and I haven't answered. Wattpad isn't making me receive my messages until decades later and its annoying and frustrating.

What grade are you in?:) I'm in 10th but I'm suppose to be in 11 just because of the month I was born in. I had to wait another year before starting school -.-

So yaass! I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I love you and stay beautiful!
