"And that is why the two angles would never be supplementary.."

I'm too distracted to listen. I don't even bother to pick up my pencil to write my name on the quiz that is handed to me. I have my head down, wondering if time could go any faster. I'm already planning my evening with Raph. We could go to the movies or drive to a beach. We can break into places and cause trouble.

So many things and I'm in school.

"Leonardo?"

I lift my head and see my teacher smiling at me. Next to her is Raph with a smirk. He holds a tiny paper in his hand.

"Huh?" I say.

"How come you didn't tell me of astronomy club? You are dismissed sir," she tells me.

What? I didn't even know this school had clubs. I scrunch my nose and stare in confusion at Raph who only motions me to hurry up. I awkardly get up and hand my teacher back the quiz. Once we are out of the class, he pushes me against the wall and kisses me. I squeak and kiss him back after my state of shock.

"Sorry I just really needed to do that," he says.

"No..no need for apologies," I reply and yank the paper from his hand. It's just a hall pass. I raise an eye at him, waiting for an explanation.

"They'll believe anything. Of course there's no fucking astronomy club," he says.

Without bothering to ask, I follow him out of the school building. We hold hands the whole time. I can't stop grinning. My heart is bursting in joy. It takes one laugh to ruin the moment though. Raph lets go and we both spot Karai leaning against the rock wall.

"How hideous. Thought you could choose better Raphael," she mutters. My body tenses. They know each other?

"And I thought you couldn't be more of an asshole sweetheart," he snaps. I find myself hiding behind him. Karai had manged to hit my weak points last I saw her, causing me to drink. She notices this and barks out another laughter.

"I'm just surpised you haven't messed with him Raphael. I honestly didn't think you were going for the end of the rainbow if you know what I mean," she says.

"Well surprise surprise sweetheart. Guess who's gay after all?" Raph hisses.

"I don't understand why you're into someone that should be dead," she says, suddenly no longer in her pleased mode. Her hands are in fists and and her fierce eyes are on me. I stop breathing for a second. I want to run away like last time, but I want to stay with Raph as well. My feet stay glued to the ground as she spits the words I've heard over and over again.

"Should have been you."

"Your fault they're dead."

"You have no idea who my family is."

"They deserved it anyways."

"You deserve it too."

Talking has never been my thing. I don't even bother to ask for answers because knowing her, she won't give them. So instead of yelling at her in return, I walk up to her and slap her as hard as possible that even my hand stings afterwards. She nearly falls to the ground. Raph grabs my hand and urges me to run with him.

I don't have time to process what I just did. I can only laugh with Raph as he takes me to an unknown part of town. I spot a giant ferris wheel up ahead and lots of colorful tents. Obviously, we break in. Raph tricks the guy into pointing out a celebrity and the moment he turns, we make a run for it.

"Its so strange of you to take me to a carnival," I say. Raph stays quiet as he takes me to the giant ferris wheel. There is no line since there is very little people around. I sit on one end and he sits in front of me. I stare down as the ride begins.

"Spill it," Raph mumbles softly.

I meet his eyes that are already on me. His elbows are on his knees and his fingers are intertwined.He looks professional. Like a professor who is ready to punish his student. Someone who is trying to teach them a lesson in a sexu-

"You're fantasizing again," he says with a huge smile.

"Mmm?"

"I recognize that face. What are you thinking about? You give me that face at least once a day and I've always wondered what it means."

It simply means: You're a sex god. Please take my virginity.

"Nothing," I say and clear my throat. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Raph rolls his eyes. "Okay forget about that. Spill about your parents Leo."

I gulp and look down at the floor in shame. "I don't even know anymore. I thought I knew everything but Karai seems to know a different story."

"Then tell me what you know," he says. He reaches across for my hand. "You can tell me anything. You know that right?"

I nod and take a deep breath. "I don't remember much. My dad always wanted me to become some sort of hero," I begin and laugh at the small memory. "He always told me that there were bad guys and good guys. Bad guys don't have to want world domination like they show in the movies. I never understood him for some reason. He was always shaking when he spoke of the topic."

I shut my eyes close, recalling my memories. "Mom was very protective of me. She never let me go out and play unless she was with me. We lived in some deserted area with no neighbors or anything. One day though, I was left alone with someone. I guess the lady was an aunt of some sort. In the middle of the night I heard her crying. I remember getting up and asking her why she was crying. She told me my parents died in a car crash."

At least that is what I've known my whole life.

"Except I wasn't convinced," I admit.

"Why is that?" Raph asks.

"Because for some odd reason I had this idea in my head that my father killed my mom," I say dead seious. The ferris wheel stops. We have reached the bottom. We don't move.
