Knock knock!

"Neru? Are you in there? Hurry up! We're gonna be late!"

KNOCK KNOCK!

"Hello?" A sigh was heard before the voice whispered something, "No good. She's not answering."

"Leave it to me." Another voice is heard before the door was being pounded on.

BANG BANG!

"You're so hopeless... here lemme try."

BAANG!!!

The door was knocked with an unbelievable force that it flew off its place and landed on the floor with a loud crash. "Whoops..."

"Mei-chan, you overdid it! Now what should we do!? Neru will kill us." Gumi stated with a worried expression plastered on her face.

"Neru will what?" A voice appeared behind them. The three residents turned around, looking like guilty puppies. Their eyes met a honey-coloured orb staring back at them. Neru glanced behind them and saw that her room is wide open. "Who did this? Can someone give me an explanation?"

"Uhh.... well.... she did it." Lily pointed a finger towards Meiko.

"Look... We tried to wake you up earlier on. And... things got out of hand..." Meiko explained what had happened slowly, details by details. "...And that's what happened. Sorry."

"It's okay... I guess... But you should fix it before we hit the beds. I need my privacy after hours." Those words slipped out of her lips as she went into her doorless room, grabbed her phone and went back out.

"W-wha? She just let us off the bat. Was she hit on the head or something?" Lily's eyes followed Neru's move.

"Probably..." Meiko and Gumi said in unison.

The residents walked to school together in a big group. Meiko and Lily kept their distance slightly further from Neru as they were still guilty for what they did earlier that morning. Luka and Haku walked behind them, one checking out random school girls and another enjoying the morning breeze passing by her face.

"Neru? Aren't you mad?" Gumi asked for the fifth time.

"Yeah.. It's okay."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. I have something else to worry about."

Once they reached school, the college students parted from the high-schoolers.

"See ya later." Meiko raised her hand.

"I'll be waiting for you~" Luka sang before she was dragged away.

"Later." Gumi replied.

As soon as they are out of sight, Gumi turned back to Neru and asked, "So, what was on your mind?"

"It's... private..." Neru looked down as blush crept up her cheeks.

"Just tell me. I won't judge."

"Okay... promise me that you won't tell anyone."

"Okay."

"Well... I think I like someone..."

"Yeah? Go on." Gumi's eyes had a hint of excitement as she listened to Neru attentively.

"...who's a girl... and I don't know what to do. I mean... isn't a girl liking a girl wrong? What do you think?" Neru turned to face Gumi. Gumi's smile was as wide as ever. Her hands are clasped together and her eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Go ahead. Laugh." Neru's cheeks got a lot redder than before as she saw the younger girl's reaction.

"Kyaaa!! I approve. Your relationship has Gumi's stamp of approval. So, who is she? Is she living with us?"

"Y-yes.." Neru stuttered.

"Lemme guess... Is it Lily-san? Both of you are pretty much alike."

"No."

"LukaNee-chan?"

"No. Why would I like her?"

"Well in most manga I had read, the person being groped might grow feelings from the person groping her." Gumi chimed.

"That doesn't make any sense."

"Wait.... Do you like... me?" Gumi jumped into conclusion that since Neru had shown no interest in Meiko, the options narrowed down to either her or the mysterious resident that had never interacted with anyone....ever.

"No. Well... I do like you as a friend. But..."

"Yo! Akita, do you have the stuff? I got you a customer." A voice rang into their ears, interrupting them.

"Well.. see you later then." Neru gave a small wave to Gumi before heading towards the student with long black twin-tails.

"Who is this person that Neru likes? Mei-chan? SeeU-sensei? Aaaargh!! I'm so curious now." Thoughts swirled around Gumi's mind as she headed towards class.

Once Neru reached her classroom, she went straight to her seat, which was located at the back of the class next to thr door. She fished out her phone and started going through her blog.

"I asked the wrong person for advice didn't I..." Neru thought to herself as she reads through her old entries.

The door slid open as a tall, well-built man in his early thirties entered the classroom. His brown hair is slicked back with a strike of silver (dyed) at both sides of his head.

"Hello class, welcome back to school. How's your weekend? I hope you are refreshed and ready for school. I have some news for ya." The overly enthusiastic teacher announced.

"Resheshed and ready my ass... FYI, no one looks forward to school." Neru mumbled under her breath.

"Akita-san, if you have anything to add, please step out of the class."

"I would, but it's too cold out there." Neru replied bluntly as she sat back in her seat.

"*sigh* You know what? Just keep all your comments to yourself."

"Haha. Kay..." Neru smirked.

"Okay then. Back to the announcements. The school is organizing a-" And that is where Neru stopped listening. She took out a notebook and jotted down her new schemes.

Ring~

"Okay. That is all for today. You are dismissed."

Neru's eyes slowly opened as she woke up from her slumber. She stretched out both her small arms as a small sigh slipped out of her mouth. She took a long good look around before she snapped awake. From the corner of her eyes, she spotted a familiar green-haired otaku standing by her classroom door.

"Good morning, Akita-senpai~" Gumi sang as she strolled towards the blonde student.

"Hold on. Akita-senpai!?"
"She didn't join any clubs right?"
"Isn't she that first-year homo?"
"Why is she here?"
"Are they dating?"
The students murmured amongst themselves.

Neru could feel her cheeks burning up. She stood up from her seat and looked around. "URUSAI!!" The classroom went extremely quiet that even a pin dropped could be heard. They took a second look at Neru before going back to minding their own business.

"Gumi-san... why are you here?" Neru grumbled when Gumi reached her seat.

"I have decided to join you for lunch." Gumi smiled as her eyes sparkled in the light.

"Then, why did you call me 'Akita-senpai'?"

"It's to show that we have that senpai-kohai relationshi-" Gumi was cut off when Neru grabbed her by the collar.

"Whatever it is, don't call me that." Neru grumbled as she released the younger, yet bigger student. "Let's take this outside. Where no one will see us." Neru added as she dragged the greenette out to the roof.

"Are we even allowed here?" Gumi looks around as uneasiness took over her body.

"Don't worry. I know a way to get in." Neru took out one of her hair pins and stuck it in the keyhole. She jiggled the pin around until a click was heard. "There. Let's get in."

"Are you sure this is okay?" Gumi felt uneasiness taking over her body.

"Yeah. Check this out." Neru showed some stacks of papers hidden between some pipes.

Gumi took a closer look at them and noticed that the papers were answer sheets for the upcoming examinations. "Wha- How did you get these? W-why?" Gumi stuttered.

"For cash... duh..." Neru groaned as she leans against the railings. "Anyway, I brought you up here to tell you something. Please don't ever come to my class. Send me a text or somethi-" Neru was cut off when her phone let out a loud buzz. She flipped her phone open, read whatever was sent, replying to the text and snapping it shut.

"Well.. That's it. Go back to class. Someone is coming up here."

"Uhh... okay..."

~Sometime later~

"So, Akita, do you have the stuff?" A student whispered, looking out for teachers that could happen to pass by.

"Do you have the cash?" Neru asked.

The student took out an envelope from her blazer and handed it to Neru. The envelope was snatched from the student's grasp as it was torn open. Neru checked the bill, ensuring that it wasn't a duplicate. Nodding slowly, she took out the pieces of paper from her jacket and handed them to the needing student.

"Arigatou." The student rushed into the building and disappeared in a wink of an eye.

~Another timeskip~

Creak

The door creaked open as a resident entered in. "I'm back."

"Ah, welcome back." The bobbed haired brunette replied, looking up from the door she was repairing.

Neru strolled into her room and lay on her bed. She stared blankly at the ceiling. She raised up her hand in midair and glanced at her yellow painted fingernails.

"Bad day?" Meiko asked as she continued tightening the screws on the hinges. Neru shook her head slowly. "Wanna talk about it?"

"I really feel like spilling out the beans to her. Well... She IS mature to understand but she might be against it." Neru gave a second thought of it before she gave in and lied through her teeth. "No. It's okay. I just need some fresh air." She walked past Meiko who was fixing the destruction.

She went straight out of the building and slumped down on the bench next to the vegetable garden. She stared at the white, puffy clouds before closing her eyes slowly. Before she knew it, she was already fast asleep.

Neru woke up from her slumber and noticed that she is now in the middle of a flower garden.

'How did I get here? Wasn't I on a bench in the yard a second ago?'

A figure appeared out of nowhere and walked in front of Neru. She held Neru in a tight hug and whispered into her ear. "Aishiteru." She released Neru from her grip and planted their lips together.

Chirp chirp!

Neru's eyes shot open before she took a look around. The sun is setting in the horizon. The sky is now red-ish orange. A bird was perched next to her, singing out loud. She noticed that her body is covered by a blanket. She could feel a presence on her right. She looked up to see a silver-haired beauty staring back at her. Her ruby eyes sparkled in the setting sun.

"Wh-why are you here!?" Neru shot up from her seat as soon as she noticed who was seating next to her.

"It's cold out here... I'm just giving you some warmth.." The girl half whispered as she got up from her seat.

"O-oh.. Thanks.." Neru stuttered.

"Let's get in. It's time for dinner."

Both of them went back in side by side. Neru felt the blush creeping up her cheeks. She looked down, trying to hide her red face.

~Extras~

"Good night, Neru." Gumi chirped as she stepped into her room.

"Night."

Neru walked down the hallway and reached her room. Just when she had reached the door, she noticed that the door is fixed inside-out. The coat hangers that was supposed to be hung behind the door is greeting her.

"MEIKO!!"

Meanwhile, Meiko is hiding out there somewhere.

Konichiwa! YFG here. I apologize for the late update. My phone choose to break down. School had started. Homeworks piling up. etc. etc. Plus, I did this during lunch breaks.
