The valley outside of the cave was being destroyed by the darkness. The four girls looked at it in horror. "What are we going to do?" Amber asked. "I don't know!?" Ivy said worriedly, "but those poor little animals are frightened!" Ivy watched a buck and a fawn being frightened from dark animals. Ivy moved closer and a dark rabbit looked at her angrily and concerned. It was getting ready to attack. The dark rabbit leaped into thin air and hissed at Ivy, but Ivy didn't do nothing. She did not want to attack a little rabbit. "Uh! Forget it!" Amber yelled, running towards the rabbit and fire shot out of her paws and the rabbit was scared out of its wits and ran away. "W-why did you do that for!?" Ivy asked angrily. "You weren't going to attack it" Amber responded. "Yeah! She had to do something, or that animal could have severely injured you" Echo replied. "But I don't want to hurt my animal friends" Ivy suggested. "Yeah! But those aren't your animal friends anymore. They're being controlled by the darkness" Amber explained. "Your right! My animals would never try to hurt me" Ivy said. "Exactly!" Dakota replied.

"Let's kick some furry butt!" Amber yelled, she ran towards a dark wolf and shot fire out of her paws and scared it away. A wolf ran towards Ivy and growled at her, she flinched. Suddenly, an earthquake started. A crack on the ground made the wolf halt and yipped when it fell into the hole in the ground. "NOOOO!" Ivy yelled. Suddenly, Misty used telekinesis and the wolf was floating back up. The wolf trembled in fear when Ivy walked towards it. "Please don't hurt me" it said. "I'm not gonna hurt you. You're injured and I want to help you" Ivy said, she raised her paws near the wolf's hind leg, which was severely injured. A stream of leaves moved towards them and wrapped around the wolf's hind leg, acting like a bandage. The wolf began to change back to a gray-colored wolf like Dakota. It was back to normal. "What is your name?" Ivy asked, helping it up. "My name is Loki" he said. "Nice to meet you, Loki. Do you want to get somewhere safe?" Ivy asked Loki. "Yes!" Loki responded. Loki walked towards Dakota and Ainyana. "Wait! Can we pack come too?" Loki asked. "Sure!" Ivy replied. Loki ran back in to the forest and came back with seven other wolves and four wolf pups. The seven wolves were all gray-colored wolves. The leader was named Onyx, which meant a form of quartz, his mate was named Akira, the other wolves in the pack were named Luna, which meant a nickname for the moon, and has a birthmark shaped like a moon. Malakai, which meant my messenger, Baron, which meant free warriors, Arctic, and Balto. The wolf pups were named Moon, which meant the night time light of the sky, who had a birthmark shaped like a moon just like his mother. The other three were named Nadia, which meant hope, Aura, which meant a glowing light, and Ayka, short for Ayaka, which meant flower in Japanese. The four girls also took the rest of the animals that weren't completely consumed by the darkness to a safe area.
