"Running away, my queen?" Klaus asked as I smirked to myself, doing the last clip on my bra. Feeling him place his hand on my shoulder, I looked at his hand. Seeing he was staring at my serpent tattoo on my shoulder blade. A small simple one. "Oh how I haven't seen that tattoo in years." He joked, all I could do was shake my head.

"Jugs messaged me to meet him at Pops for breakfast." I begun, turning towards him.

"Yeah go, it's all good. If Jug wants or needs to meet up with you, he's priority." He explained, which made a smile come across my lips. Leaning over to him, pecking his lips. We looked one another in the eyes as he reached in to peck me, I held onto his lips longer.

"You're amazing, I'll talk to you later. Ok?" I asked, rubbing my thumb on his cheek.

"I'll talk to you later, wish me luck working on site with your dad today." He was slightly freaking out, deep down underneath.

"You'll be ok, if he goes off your head. You just need to show him, ok?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Go and see the little man, I love you." Those three letter words that meant so much to us, to a land far away. Smiling, all I could do was speak the utter truth.

"I love you too." Pecking his lips again, I chucked on my shirt. Rushing out the door and driving myself to Pops with snow up each sides of the car. Hearing the classical bell ding as I walked inside, spotting my brother straight away.

"You look terrible." He stated, laughing as I walked over to him. Wrinkling my nose, I faked laughed in return.

"Haha, you're funny." I replied sarcastically, kissing his head as I sat down. Seeing a cup of hot coffee and my favourite chicken burger already in front of me.

"I already ordered for you." I looked back up at my little brother in awe, he knows me so well. I didn't ask him to get this for me.

"You're a blessing Jug, thats why you're my favourite human." I explained, taking a monster bite out of the sandwich. Grunting at the amazing taste running through my mouth.

"So..." He begun, placing his cup of coffee onto the table. I was intrigued, raising an eyebrow he continued. "You and Klaus left last night and you didn't come home. Tell me sister, where were you?"

"Ok Sherlock, if you must oh dyingly know. This stays between us, ok?" He nodded. "Klaus and I... slept-." I whispered, soon to be cut off by the baby jug surfacing.

"You and Klaus slept togeth-!" I slammed my hand onto his mouth.

"Shut it... and yes we did." I took my hand away from his mouth. "I think we're kinda a thing, again? I dunno. He's working with dad today, so I'm hoping he doesn't spill to him. I want to tell dad the right way."

"Ok ok ok, I'm happy for you Luci."

"Thanks Juggy."

Walking with Jug up the front stairs, Jug holding coffees for the three of us. As I held the donuts in the bag. Jug opening the cold steel door knob open, our eyes were amazed of the state of the place. Clean, tidy, no beer bottles or even the scent anywhere. Smiling, jug and I spotted dad coming down the hallway.

"Dad. Have you been body snatched?" We asked, seeing a big grin on our fathers clean shaven face.

"Aw, I feel good, Jug and Luc." I soon spotted paper in his hands, jugs work. "Wanna look good, too. You know, shave, clean the place up a bit, little paint." Dad stated, walking around to us.

"We got coffee and donuts." Jug explained as we passed them to him.

"Awesome. Oh jug. I read your, uh... your essay? Manuscript?" Dad said walking over to the table, placing out our coffees.

"Really?" Jug was shocked.

"I asked for it, didn't I?"

"I don't know, I figured you were just pretending to be interested." Jug replied, while dad sat down. Jug standing behind his chair as I stood near the front of the door, leaning against it.

"This, this is excellent. Me... I can barely string two sentences together, but you, you got a gift." Dad stated. "Thank god you aren't wasting them. Mind if I ask you a couple of questions?" He asked, gesturing for jug to take a seat.

"Yeah. Of course." Jug sat down.

"Why Jason Blossom, huh? Of all the things you could write about why pick a dead kid?" Dad quizzed, putting sugar into his coffee. I, walking over as dad passed me mine.

"I don't know. It was sort of like he picked me." Jug begun. "Tell the story that no one was gonna tell, or even now to tell, from the outside, looking in."

"Who do you think killed him? You and Betty are in this deep." I questioned, taking a sip of my bitter sweet coffee. "You gotta have an opinion."

"To me... I don't think the question is 'who did it', you know? I think the real question is whether riverdale is a place of good or a place of darkness and evil."

"Or both. Most things are both." Dad included. "Can I make one suggestion?"

"That's what Betty says, and then it's about a dozen suggestions." Jug huffed at the end.

"No, trust me little brother. When dad says one, it's always one." I explained.

"I think... at a certain point, you should...move on. You can't let this be the only story you're gonna tell Jughead. Hell, it shouldn't even be the most important one." Dad then looked to me, full of curiousness. "Lucifer, didn't you wear that yesterday?" I lowered my head, placing my coffee onto the table. I could hear jug hiding his laugh.  "What are you hiding?" Dad laughed.

"Let's just say she didn't come back to Fred's last night." Jug gave a clue away.

"Jughead!" I yelled at him, him putting his hands up in surrender.

"That explains a lot." Dad smirks, I narrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"Klaus was awfully happy this morning coming to work." All I could do was rub my temple. "So the king and queen are back together?"

"I'm having a shower." I didn't want to answer, walking down the hall. I heard Jug give it away.

"They basically are."

"Jughead Jones!" I yelled throughout the van, hearing them both burst out in laughter. Having a shower and getting changed into black jeans, boots with a bit of heel, my serpent jacket and a dark grey shirt. I saw jug has already left for school. Seeing dad finishing dishes, he pointed to the Pops bag on the table.

"There's a donut in the bag for you, saved it from jug." He explained, drying his hands.

"Ha, thanks." I replied, bringing out the remaining chocolate sprinkle donut. Sitting down at the table facing him, he looked towards me.

"Did you use protection?" He asked, that question made me put down my donut.

"Yes, Dad. Of course, we're not dumb." I laughed.

"Ok ok, just asking. Luc, you tell me if he breaks your heart again. Ok?" He told me in his big dad tone.

"Yes, I will. Don't worry, he isn't that Klaus anymore." I explained, feeling my cheeks become a light pink. As I tried to hide my smile.

"Look at you getting all giddy."

There the soon to be crowned queen sat, laughing with her father. The king before Klaus, the one has ruled the land. Many more years then his princess has be born. The princess being able to talk to him oh so easy, being to able to answer his questions without feeling the need to hide.
