"Luci, Luci." Jug said softly, grabbing my foot and shaking it to wake me up. Groaning, I opened one eye. Seeing him dressed and ready to go. "Get ready, we're going to Pops." Getting up and ready, I drove jug and I to Pops. Meeting Archie and his mum. Jug, arch and I sat across from her. The waiter placing down our drinks, I rested up against Archie. Sitting closest to the wall, I took a sip of my small coffee cup.

"Archie asked me to look into your fathers case." Mary begun. "I went down to the station and passed myself off as his attorney to try to get as much information as I could."

"How's it looking mum?" Archie asked her.

"Well, unfortunately, between Fps list of priors, the anonymous tip and the possession of the murder weapon." Then jug added in the mids of it.

"Don't forget about that pesky confession."

"Jug." I whispered in a don't way.

"Things look pretty bad." Mary got to finish her sentence. "I was with him all night, and he never once budged from his story." All jug and I could do was sigh heavily.

"Well, if nothing else, at least he's an honest murdered, right?" Jug stated quite cheerfully.

"Enough." I told him deeply.

"Oh, also...who is..." Mary started bringing out another piece of paper. "Joaquin Desantos?" Soon as she said Joaquin's name, I sat up straight.

"Joaquin? As in Kevin's boyfriend?" Archie quizzed.

"Lucifer, does Joaquin have anything to do with the serpents?" Mary asked me, nodding in reply.

"He was Fps one call." She explained further, exchanging looks with my little brother. Shivers ran down my spin. "Jughead...Lucifer...my advice to both of you is go and see your father. Tell him everything you wanna say. Once he's arraigned, things tend to move pretty quickly and there won't be anything to do. So, this might be your last chance."

~~~
I leant against the metal table in the outer room of dad's cell, looking directly at him. My eyes burning into his skeleton as jug said what he needed to say. "When Archie told me about his little plan...get you on your feet and working with Fred. Deep down...I knew it was a mistake."
"Should've listened to your gut." Dad bluntly replied.
"You really had me." Jug started to tear up. "Cleaning the trailer, convincing me that you had quit drinking. I was so happy for the first time in so long. You paid attention to me, you paid attention to us. Let's be honest. The only reason you even read my manuscript about Jason's murder was to make sure I wasn't onto you. And you didn't wanna take Lucifer and I to Toledo to get the family back together. You wanted to get away... you wanted to run away."
"I had to do what I needed to do! Like I always do!" Dad yelled back at him, jug stood in front of me. Closer to the cell walls.
"Are you even sorry?" After Jug said that, dad rose up from the cell bed he sat on. Walking towards him, all of my muscles tensed at one. As if I was a stress ball and my body was crushing.
"I'm sorry I got caught." He spat. "We done?" Dad quizzed, Jug huffed. Walking back towards me, dad shouted. "Look at me, jughead." Jugs eyes looked into mine, giving him a nod. He wiped his nose against his sleeve, turning towards our father. "Never come back here. You understand?" It went silent, all there was the silent hiss sound of our eyes. Burning into eachothers skulls.
"Got it." Jug bluntly replied, the same way dad said to him earlier. "I'll be in the car." He explained, watching Jug leave. My eyes went back to my father.
"You have no right." I shook my head.
"Don't tell me how to be a parent Lucifer." He gritted, not believing his act. I took a few steps towards him.
"You know, what Jughead said. I feel the same way he does, I thought I had everything back. My life was complete! I had my dad, my brother and I had Klaus." I leant against the cell, my face inches away from his.
"Sorry to disappoint."
"Just... tell me dad, this isn't you. Just tell me, why." I begged.
"This is all my doing Lucifer, now. Go, leave." I didn't budge, him confused on why Im not in a ball of tears and snot. Then within a split second, his hit the cell bars. Making a large bang throughout the room, all I did was step back. "Listen to me Lucifer Jones! Take the advice I told your brother, never! Come back here, you hear me?"
"Whatever you say." I replied, leaving.
Slamming the door behind me, cold shivers ran throughout my bloodstream. Wrapping my leather jacket around myself more, I made my way to the car. Where sat the little prince in the passenger seat, swaying slightly in his seat. While the music played loud enough to only just hear it from the front of the cop station. Getting into the drivers seat, he looked to me as I turned down the stereo slightly.
"How'd you go?" He asked, looking for hope within my eyes.
"Same as you bud. Do you-?"
"Yeah I think he's hiding something as well."
As that day continued, I dropped Jughead off to Betty's. Heading back to Klaus's, the house was empty. One giant hollow echo ran throughout the house as I called for him, following my voices dying echo. My phone started ringing in my pocket, bringing it out. Seeing klaus's face on my screen. "Hey, where are you?"
"Oh yes, how are you? I'm good, thanks for asking Lucifer." He joked, all I could do was sigh heavily. "Hey, what's wrong? It was a joke love."
"I know it was a joke, ha... are you at the whyrm?" I ruffled my hand through my hair.
"I'm just coming into Southside now, I'll be there soon. Meet?"
"Yeah, I'll see you there." Hanging up, I grabbed my keys off of the bench. I drove on the classical dirt road, pulling up. I walked in, waking me from my dull trance was Sweetpea. Grabbing me into a tight hug. "Hi!" I put on a smile.
"Lucifer, how are you?" He quizzed looking at me, making me look at him questionably.
"I'm ok, what did you do?" I asked, seeing his eyebrows shot up.
"How-?"
"I know all." I smiled.
"Ummm, I might've done a job for the ghoulies." He looked down, sighing heavily. Making him look at me, his eyes were full of sorrow.
"Sweetpea, no. You're just a kid, if you need money. Come to me, I don't want you to be getting involved with those son of a bitches. Ok?" He nodded, bringing him into a final hug. I made my way upstairs, standing in what was once my fathers office. Placing my hands on the window seal, I looked out to the wasteland. White whyrm was the castle, which over looked the land. All I could do was blankly look out to the horizon, my mind getting lose within itself.
Hearing a simple knock at the door, it snapped me from my trance. Turning around, I smiled slightly. Seeing Klaus stand there with two beers in his hands. "I'm come with a gift." He smiled, passing me one.
"Thank you." I said softly, pecking his lips. Smiling at him, trying to hide what's on my mind.
"Hey, what's going through that beautiful mind?" He asked, pulling a strand of hair behind my ear. Sighing heavily in relief, I took a quick gulp of the beer.
"Jug and I went to see dad before." I stated, his face dropped. "No need for that, jug and I know our father well. He's not the murderer, he's hiding something about it though." I explained.
"What do you propose?"
"I don't know, but he's putting on an act. Someone would've threatened him to do so."
As that night continued, the king and queen made their way back to where they both called home. The queen straddling her king, while their snake tounges slipped into each other's throats. There was a loud call for both of their names.
"Lucifer! Klaus!" The young prince called, both of the rulers coming to him. They were both confused on why the whole gang was in their home.
"Why's the whole Scooby gang in my living room?" Klaus questioned.
"We have something to show you." Archie said, holding up a flash drive. Raising an eyebrow, he put it into the tv. Gathering all around the couch, I gasped as the truth was revealed. The killer to a young boy was simply his father, feeling klaus's grip around me tightened. The dots all connected together and jug and I were right. Our father was simply the clean up guy.
