Normal POV

"Natsu hurry up we're gonna miss out flight!" Lucy yelled as she ran around the apartment like a mad woman. "Ne we still have two hours before the plane leaves." Natsu said as he lazily walked into their room. "We live in LA Natsu were gonna hit traffic and the lines are super long. Ugh!"

Natsu groaned and grabbed her arm. "Chill out" he said in a very menacing voice causing Lucy to shiver. "Even if we miss the flight it doesn't matter it's not like we're really in a hurry, after we get there the wedding isn't for another two weeks"

Lucy gulped and yanked on her arm. "Natsu let go you're hurting me." His eyes softened and he realized what he had done. "I'm sorr-" Lucy just put her hand up and walked away. "What the hell is wrong with me?"

*ring*

"Hello?" "Naaaaaaatsuuuu!" Natsu pulled the phone away from his ear. "Nani!!! Why did you yell??" "Well where on earth are you? Everyone else flying with y'all is here already, me, gray and Juvia, sting etc. the flight leaves in an hour an a half. Get moving slow poke." The phone call ends and Natsu rushes to finish packing.

"Lucy call the cab lets go" "..okay" Lucy went to call for the cab as Natsu grabbed the last of his things and locked up the apartment. They stood side by side waiting for the cab. "I'm sorry Luce. I didn't mean to yell and hurt you." Lucy held one of her arms.

"It's okay.. It just scared me a bit you've never gotten mad and yelled at me before"

Natsu looked away ashamed. "I'm sorry, I'm just stressing out over the wedding and everything." Lucy went to touch his shoulder but pulled her hand away. "I mean it's normal for couples to fight Natsu. People would probably find it strange that we never fight"

"I don't wanna fight with you though. Why should i waste time fighting when we could be laughing instead" Lucy sighed. "Oh Natsu" Just then the cab pulled up so Lucy and Natsu got in. "It gonna be so nice speaking in our tongue!" Lucy cheered. Natsu chuckled and leaned back in the seat. "I hope we're not late.." Lucy whispered.

"We're late hurry up Natsu! We still need to find our gate!" Lucy yelled as they ran through the airport. "I'm sorry!! I should've listened to you!" Natsu whined as they ran. "Last call for anyone on flight 2679" "wait!" Lucy cried out. Running up to the lady handing her the boarding pass.

"You guys just made it!" The woman at the gate told them as they ran up.

"Thank you!" Natsu and Lucy made their way on the plane and sat down, luckily it wasn't a full flight so they got to sit by each other. "Natsu I'm so sleepy" Natsu chuckled and nudged her. "Don't fall asleep on me now" Lucy yawn and leaned against him. "I won't.." She whispered as she slowly fell asleep.

Natsu smiled and leaned his head on hers. "I love you.." He whispered. Bored he pulled his phone out and took a picture of them. "Pst" Natsu's ear twitched. "Flame brain" Natsu growled and looked over. "Popsicle" "you were late" Natsu mimicked him and huffed. Gray chuckled and turned around. Natsu looked down and grabbed Lucy's hand and thumbed over her ring. A smile worked into his face. Finally' he thought.

"Welcome to Magnolia thank you for flying with us today!" Lucy ran ahead of everyone. "Ahh I've miss you Japan!!" She cheered causing other people in airport to stare at her. "Ne Natsu your mom does know we're in town right?" Natsu shook his head no. "No it's gonna a be a surprise." Lucy sighed.

"Your poor mother is gonna die with all these surprises. First she'll find out we're here, pass out. Find out we're engaged, pass out. Then when she finds out the weddings in two weeks she'll just die."

Natsu chuckled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Mom will be fine" "hey guys were going to our hotel see y'all later" Gray and the other waved and walked off. "Our Gray wait up I'm not from here don't leave me!" Sting yelled as Rouge traveled behind him.

"Do you think Wendy's home?" Lucy asked excited to see everyone. "Where else would she be?" Natsu asked they grabbed their bags. "Maybe she with a friend or a boyfriend." She smirked. "No sister of mine is having a boyfriend in 9th grade." Natsu huffed making Lucy chuckle. "Oh Natsu lets just get home"

"aye sir" "meow" Lucy's eyes widen and looked down at her travel on. "Natsu no ones allergic to cats are they?" "Not that I know of" Lucy nodded. "We have to eat at Mira's while we're here." "I know plus we have to invite her to the wedding, she'd kill us if she found out we got married and didn't invite her" Lucy giggled.

"You're right, her and your mom I swear" the two decided to just walk to the house. "I miss Japan and all fresh air! Plus I can walk every where in magnolia." The two walked up to the house and looked at each other and nodded.

*knock knock*

"Yes hello?" Natsu's mom asked as she opened the door. "Ahhh!!! My children!!" She jumped up and down before engulfing us in a hug. "Ahh oh my gosh why are you here ah who cares come in" "mom you alright what're you screaming about." Wendy asked as she came down the stairs.

Once Grandine pulled them inside Wendy's eyes grew widely. "Lucy-nee!!! And Natsu!" Natsu rolled his eyes. "Never changes" "aw it's alright Natsu, they just missed us." Both Wendy and Grandine stood quiet. "What?" Natsu asked. "Hello?" Lucy waved. "Nani?" Wendy said.

Lucy's eyes widened realizing. "Natsu were still speaking in English." "Oh sorry mom" "sorry Wendy you just get used to it.. Even though you think after hearing y'all talk in Japanese we wouldve just talked in Japanese" Lucy said. "Who cares I've missed you Lucy!" Wendy yelled before embracing her in a tight hug. Lucy smiled brightly and hugged her back.

"We've missed you too" "hey mom" Natsu opened his arms and his mom gladly hugged him back. "Hey where's the old man?" "Oh he's out back" Natsu nodded and went out back to go talk to his dad. "Oh Lucy how have you been?" Lucy went to talk but felt a yawn coming on so she covered her mouth with her left hand.

The sparkle had Natsu's moms eyes locked. "Dear god, he did it" she yelled before she passed out. "Oh my god mom!" Wendy and Lucy yelled at the same time. "What happened?" Wendy cried out. Lucy thought then brought her left hand up. "Well that was one way for her to find out.." Wendy's eyes opened widely. "Woah that's so pretty.. I never thought Natsu could pick something that cute out." Lucy stood up. "I'll go get Natsu"

Lucy walked out back to see Natsu and his dad brawling on the floor. "Give in old man!" "I won't lose to my idiot son!" "Rude!" Lucy's sweat dropped. "Guys!" They both stopped and looked up. "Hello Lucy/ hey baby" they both said in unison then began wrestling again.

"Your mom/ wife passed out" "not again.." Lucy nodded. "Yes again, and she'll probably do it again when she wakes up" Igneel gave her a look. "Natsu you didn't tell him? I thought that's what you were doing out here" Natsu looked at her and made a face. "Ohh was I?" "Ugh just tell him and come in side while I deal with mom"

Natsu and Igneel looked at each other.

"You didn't use protection did you?"

Natsu's face flushed red. "Oi I'm not dumb! We're engaged, jeez way to jump to conclusions." Natsu huffed and crossed his arms. "Getting married huh? Can't believe she would really wanna marry you're childish self" Natsu's eyes opened widely. "Rude, and Luce loves me dad what's wrong with that?"

Igneel put his hands up. "Nothing at all." "Well let's go help with mom" they both stood up and went inside. The girls were talking as the fanned Grandine. "Come on Natsu lets put your mom on the couch." The two picked her up laid her down just for her to wake up.

"Oh dear, I fainted again.. Aww Lucy sweetie come here." Lucy walked over and knelt down besides her. "Let me see let me see, ohhhh it's beautiful. Did my son really pick this out for you?" Lucy giggled and nodded. "I said the same thing mom"

Natsu crossed his arms. "You know I'm not an idiot right, I think I can tell what my fiancée likes." "Sure you can" Everyone laughed besides Natsu. "So that's why y'all were in town, Natsu finally proposed." Igneel spoke up. "Well actually were in town because the wedding is in two weeks." Grandines eyes spun in circles. "Why so soon?!?"

Lucy looked at Natsu. "Well Natsu actually purposed a little over two months ago. And I wanted to tell you guys in person and have the wedding here . Everything already been planned we just need to check everything, cake testing, look at dress etc" Lucy told them as she sat down besides Grandine and held her hands.

"It would make me really happy if you were able to help me, because you've been the closest thing to a mom to me since my mom passed." Tears formed in her eyes as Lucy spoke to her. "Oh Lucy, my child of course I'll help you, you know how much I love you. I'm honored that you want my help" Grandine cried as her and Lucy hugged. "Hey Wendy will you be my flower girl?" "Yes!"

"Well that was very heart warming" Igneel said while giving Natsu a good slap on the back. "Jeez dad could you hit me any harder?" Igneel glanced at him. "Natsu you know good and well I can hit a lot harder than that." Natsu's eye twitched. "It that a challenge old fart!?" "You're not man enough to take it!" "Boys!!" Lucy and Grandine yelled.

"Come on Luce, we're gonna go relax its been a long few days flying we need some well needed sleep." Natsu said while grabbing their bags. "Goodnight, I love you Lucy.. Natsu" Natsu stoked and looked at his mother. "Ya know mom I thought maybe me marrying her would earn me some more love from you but it seems it only made you live Lucy even more."

"Natsu if you want me to love you give me 33 babies"

Steam poured from Lucy's ears. "N-Nani?!?" "Mom you told me you'd love me if I dated Lucy.. Now it's if we have babies, come on." Grandine laughed and walked away. Natsu and Lucy went down into the basement and flopped on the bed. Happy meowed and jumped out of the carrier and went to lay by their feet. "I've missed cuddling in your room" Lucy giggled as she nuzzles into her fiancé. "Yeah some good times in this old room of mine."

"I love you hubby"

"I love you too wifey, let's get some sleep"

Lucy nodded and dozed off into a deep sleep.
