(Y/N) pov

As Coco lays down cover fire, the rest of the ground team rushes in to break through the Grimm and get to the village. An Ursa is about to kill a villager but I then rush in and slice the Ursa in two. Weiss then uses her glyphs to get the villager to saftey. As the ground team makes headway, a Beowolf leaps towards me. As I move (H/N) to defend myself, a bullet hits the grimm and kills it. I turn and see Ruby with her rifle, we nod at eachother.

Yang pov

Nora, Yatsuhashi, and I are in position and are killing Grimm left and right trying to slow their advance in the village. A Ursa goes for Nora, I shoot at it, and Nora smashes it with her hammer. Yatsuhashi slams his sword in to the ground knock as bunch of Grimm in the air, Nora and I shoot the Grimm as they fall. We continue fighting, but I know the battle is only begun, and I'm getting fired up.

Coco pov

I am firing at the Grimm from the bullhead as the pilot patrols the perimeter. I see some nevermore flying towards us.

Coco: Evasive maneuvers! Nevermore spotted us.

The pilot starts a highspeed chase. I then hear Ruby over my communcation earpiece.

Ruby: Coco, you got alot of strays sniffing your tail.

Coco: Trying to keep them off the streets.

Ruby: Well, Nevermores can't bank worth a damn. Try making a tight turn.

Pilot: Roger that.

The pilot keeps flying and then decides to turn tight. As he does I take a shot at them and take all three out.

Coco: Nice call, what else you got?

Ruby: Hmm. Well Yang is taking on a pack near the main gate.

Coco: And she didn't invite us.

(Y/N) pov

The plan is working so far, I see everyone fighting and pushing back the Grimm.

(Y/N): Blake, Ren, hows the rescue coming?

Blake: We're 80% done. Still need some more time.

(Y/N): Alright, please pick up the pace.
I don't know how much longer we can keep this up.

Blake: Just try.

(Y/N): Who do you think your talking to?

Just then I block an attack from an Ursa and kill it with a downward slash. As (H/N) spins around as I slash again, I see Sun being surrounded. I urge (H/N) forward and race to Sun.

(Y/N): SUN! Grab on!

Sun grabs my arm and I flip him behind me on the saddle.

Sun: Thanks for the save.

(Y/N): You were pulling your punches.

I launch Sun at some Grimm to help Jaune. I then use (W/N) to release a stream of fire from it aimed at several Grimm. Just then I get tackled from behind and knocked off (H/N).

Weiss pov

As I kill another beowolf, I turn to see (H/N) race past me with no rider. I turn back to see (Y/N) on the ground without his weapon. I try to reach him but I get cut off by three more beowolves.

Weiss: Ruby, there's too many of them!

Ruby: Blake where are we with the evacuation.

Blake: Everyone is out we are waiting for evac.

Coco: The bullhead is bingo on fuel we have to set down. Sorry guys.

(Y/N): How long till evac gets here?!

Blake: 5 mins!

Pyrrha: That's going to be a long 5 minutes.

(Y/N): Ruby, how many bullets you have left?

Ruby: None. I could throw rocks if you want.

(Y/N): Yang, Nora, Ruby, Yatsuhashi fall back to my position. We are going to make one final stand and give the villagers a chance to escape.

Yang: We're on our way back to you.

I finally make my way to (Y/N) and help him fend off an Ursa. I give him a hug, then the rest of the team arrives.

(Y/N) pov

(Y/N): Alright, This is our Alamo. Nothing gets past us till evac arrives.

Jaune: You realize your asking us to die in this attempt.

(Y/N): I know, which is why I offer you a choice. Wait with the villagers and go back to Beacon, or stand with me and fight for what's right. If anyone wants to leave now the option is open.

I wait for the teams answer, then Blake and the others come over some buildings.

Blake: We're in.

Ren: Right.

Velvet: We won't give up.

Fox: Mhm

Ruby: We'll defend the people.

Yang: I'm always good for a fight.

Nora: Yeah, we are Hunstresses and will fight till the end.

Yatsuhashi: It would be a honor to fight alongside any of you.

Coco: I'm in.

Neptune: Dito.

Sun: Well people say life is short.

Pyrrha: A hunstress will defend everyone till the bitter end.

Juane: Guess I don't have a choice here.

Weiss: Lay it on us, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Looks like we've got a plan.

As the Grimm rush towards us I whistle for (H/N). I stand there with my team, then Neptune walks up to me.

Neptune: Hey so listen, um. I am sorry for the way I treated You and Weiss.

(Y/N): First off, I am not the one you need to apologize. Secondly, can this wait till this is over cause this really isn't the time for it.

Pyrrha: Here they come.

(Y/N): FOR REMNANT!!!

Everyone: RAHHHHHHH!!

The fight for survival ensues. Teammates fighting together against a common enemy. Fighting as one. As I take down three growlers, Sun uses me as a platform and jumps off me and uses his semblance clones to take out some Beowolves then uses his staff and hits a Ursa on the head. As the Ursa recovers, Nora slams her hammer down and kills the Grimm. Weiss and Ruby are double teamming and Yang has gone full beserk mode on the Grimm. After what seems like an eternity, I get a call.

Pilot: (Y/N) (L/N), this is evac pilot Alpha we have the civilians and are waiting for your command to pick your team up.

(Y/N): We're on our way! Team, we need to move. NOW!

(H/N) finally arrives, I get on the saddle. I pick up Weiss and Jaune and the whole team head to the extraction point. We make it to the location as the bullheads land. As the team gets on I look back and the Grimm are quickly closing in. I then look back at the team and think about the choice I have to make now. As the last team member gets on I have made my decision.

Weiss: Come on. (Y/N), we need to go now.

(Y/N): There's not enough time! I need can buy you guys more time to escape.

Ruby: (Y/N) what are you talking about?

Weiss: *eyes widen* No. No (Y/N), it's suicide. You'll die. I can't be without you. Please. *starts to cry*

(Y/N): I love you, Weiss.

I pull Weiss in and kiss her. Our fingers linger as I pull away. I turn to the remaining Grimm.

(Y/N): FOR WEISS!!!

Weiss pov

I see (Y/N) ride off towards the Grimm and I start crying pretty hard. I then feel a hand touch my shoulder, I look up and see Ruby looking at me with a smirk on her face. I look at her first confused then in realization as I now see whay she is thinking.

Ruby: Girls, are we agreed?

Yang: Oh, Yeah!

Blake: Locked and loaded.

Weiss: Ready, and Thank you.

We ready our weapons and jump out of our bullhead and on to the ground to join (Y/N) and destroy the Grimm once and for all.
