Daisy's POV

"Really you two? You act like little children doing a science project. You are suppose to do it really small like, not the biggest volcano possible." I said and Peach nodded slowly like little kid in trouble.

Luigi and I got the mops for Mario and Peach to clean up their mess. This clean up took most of the day, Luigi and Mario going to some plumbing jobs while Peach and I kept on mopping.

"So, how was your appointment?" Peach asked, mopping up some in corner by the stairs.

"It was great. I'm almost a month in. That's why I started feeling a little sick. Many more months to go. They said I was as healthy as a horse." I said as I wrung the mop of the vinegar and baking soda solution.

"Next time, make a little volcano. Those are impressive on their own without flooding the whole shop. Now it smells like we should have a fish fry. All this vinegar smell in the air." I said while I kept moping now thinking of getting a new bucket of water so I could basically clean the floor.

"Could you get me a bucket halfway filled with water, please?" I asked Peach and she nodded going to get another bucket. She brought to me, I thanked her, and started cleaning.

Soon the boys arrived, Luigi was drenched for some unknown reason. Mario was completely dry.

"What happened, Luigi?"

"Mario turned on the water while I was fixing the shower. There was lime scale clogging the shower head, so I had to screw it off and clean it. Suddenly the water was turned on and I got drenched."

"I'm sorry, brother-mio! I thought you said to turn the water on."

"Does, 'Mario, I need a wrench' sound like 'Mario, I need you to turn on the water'?"

"No..." Mario said as Luigi walked over to the bathroom, his shoes squeaking and squishing.

"Don't worry, Mario. I would have made the same mistake." Peach said as she handed my mop to Mario.

"Now, clean up this mess. Daisy has been on her feet for awhile."

"Peach, I'm perfectly capable of helping you two clean up."

"Daisy, you've been helping for awhile. You don't have to clean up all of our messes."

"Alright, Mario, all you need to do is mop all that red stuff and Peach will come around with the other mop to get rid of the baking soda." I explained our system.

Luigi came back out in some clean clothes.

"Spare clothes?" I asked and he nodded.

"In this job, you need to be prepared for every possible contingency." Luigi smiled, now putting a arm around me.

"And the little one will have to be prepared too. That little bambino will have to be prepared for their crazy uncle and aunt." He said and I laughed. That was definitely not far from the truth.

"Yeah, this kid is going to need to be patient around those two." I said as I looked up at Luigi.

After those two cleaned up their volcano mess, I noticed both of them had pink hands.

"Now my hands are as pink as my nail polish!" Peach said as she walked into the apartment and rubbing her hands, trying to get the red food coloring off.

"Peach, you dyed your hands. You'll be fine." I reassured her.

"That doesn't look natural! Now my hands look weird!"

"Well now you know what the consequences are about making comicly sized baking soda volcanoes." I said as I took my jacket off and wrapped my half apron around my middle.

"Daisy? Don't you remember that it's Mario and Peach's turn to make dinner tonight?" Luigi reminded me of our rotation of who cooks for dinner. I mostly cook, but every so often we rotate for a few days.

"Alright, I hope I won't get pasta dough in the face again." I said and we both laughed, thinking back to that memory.

"I don't think those two are going to attempt pasta again."

"You never know, Luigi!" Peach yelled from the living room. She walked into the kitchen with a half apron tied around her.

"Go relax, Daisy. Mario and I got dinner all planned." Peach guided me to the couch as if I couldn't get there myself.

Everyone was acting so weird since they found out I was pregnant... this is going to be an annoying 9 months...

Luigi joined me on the couch, grabbing my hand.

"You already getting annoyed about your 'fragile' treatment, huh." He asked me and I nodded. He knew me so well.

"We just want to take extra care of you and the little one."

"I know, it's just going to be so weird." I said placing a hand on my stomach that didn't even really feel like a baby bump.

"Don't worry, Daisy. We will try not to be extremely protective..." And I giggled.

"Let's see how long that lasts."

"Alright folks, dinner's served!" Peach yelled from the kitchen.

It was now time to try food Peach and Mario made. I was already wondering what they cooked, smelling onion and garlic already.
