A while later, they all burst through the stone wall and into the new realm.

This realm was in a whole different level than the other ones, and not just because it had larger crystals and more light. When Akane made Shiryu get through the wall to the new realm, she found that they have entered in a high area where they started to free fall. Except...it didn't truly fell like free falling at all. Weightlessness was felt much more, and Akane saw and felt that everyone was falling in slow motion. The speed and intensity at how each was falling felt strange...and it took a while until Shiryu and the titans all landed on the ground of the realm. Akane adapted quickly in order to not fall, trip, or slip with Shiryu as they set foot down. Mothra continued to fly, Gojirin set both feet on the stone ground, Chibisuke slipped a bit but anchored himself, and Anguirus skidded until he stopped. "Interesting..." Akane mused, piloting Shiryu to jump up a bit to test the gravity. All titans were lightweight despite their mass, and Akane remembered how the astronauts on the moon looked like when jumping in low gravity. She chuckled a bit, but then focused back on the mission.

Shiryu's eyes scanned the area for any signs of Gigan and the MUTOs in the vicinity. There was, strangely, a low amount of interference in this place now, which confused Akane. 'This is the place that you sensed Gigan was at, right? Where is he then?' Akane thought to Mothra. The moth titan began to fly again, heading forwards to lead them, and the titans began to follow her. Akane was about to do so too, and then she remembered Chibisuke, looking down at the baby Godzilla. "You can't come with us. It's too dangerous." Akane said through Shiryu's loudspeakers, kneeling the mechagodzilla down. The hatchling squeaked, tilting its cute little head to the side curiously. "I know you don't understand me. But this is for your own safety. Some time later you will grow big like your mother and Godzilla, but right now that is not the time for you" Akane said with a slight sigh, moving Shiryu's finger to wave at the small one. Chibisuke squeaked cutely and reached out with its small claws. Akane sighed again and moved Shiryu's arms to pick the hatchling up and set him on a high platform. "Stay. No following." she said to Chibisuke, pointing at him with Shiryu's clawed finger as she piloted the mechagodzilla away. The baby Godzilla gave another squeak to call out to Shiryu, but Akane piloted the mechagodzilla away to join up again with the titans.

In a few moments, Akane caught up to the titans with Shiryu as they were charging across the ground and through the crystals. Mothra kept on leading them through the Hollow Earth at the front as she flew. Akane picked up the pace in order to now be in the middle and in front of Gojirin and Anguirus, in order to be the first one to see and confirm where Gigan's precise location was. The more they began to near where the alien monster was, the less the interference became, which confused Akane even more. When her doubts became great, she suddenly made Shiryu stop in its tracks, the other titans noticing and slowing down to stop. Akane tapped on the radio and tried to connect with the command center once more...and thankfully the connection was established again. "This is Akane Yashiro aboard Shiryu. Can anyone hear me?" Akane said. ["Yes, we can hear you loud and clear now. What is the situation?"] Colonel Togashi said on the radio, much more clearer than before. "The interference is less at this time. Where is the most interference right now?" Akane said. ["We are getting the same here. And...we can now confirm the precise location of you and Gigan. It's very strange...there is not that much interference now."] Colonel Togashi said, looking to the side and seeming as if he spotted a noticeable difference at that moment. Why is he doing that? That was the question that Akane had in her mind. "Tell me his current location." Akane said as she was starting to suspect something. ["...Up ahead of you. Straight forwards and closing in on the portal."] Colonel Togashi said.

When Akane looked up, Shiryu's cameras zoomed in to the location of the portal, and saw the hulking shapes of the MUTOs...with Gigan still leading them all a few miles from where she and the titans were They were all just a couple of meters from the gateway and gradually closing in on it, the portal being on the ground. Gigan continued to walk in front of his MUTO servants...until he stopped. The alien titan turned its head and body around, slowly, until he was facing where Shiryu and the titans were up the small hill miles away. The MUTOs that accompanied him also did the same, one by one as they also noticed the titans. Gojirin and Anguirus bared their teeth and growled, looking ready to jump down and engage the alien titans. However, instead of starting to make their way towards them, Gigan just...stood there without moving. The mouth of the alien titan opened a bit, the jaws on the sides moving as if they were making a grin. "Well well...if it isn't the sssmall insect. How have you been?....you were delayed much. And...you brought some pets...adorable and delicious..." Gigan said amusedly, tapping in to the radio with ease. Akane narrowed her eyes at the alien titan, the grip on her controls tightening as she heard the taunting from Gigan. Yet she didn't reply to the alien titan in order to express her defiance. "I was hoping you would come earlier...ssso that I would crush you. But... 'Better late than never'...as I have heard your kind sssay. You took great care of my ssservrant...impressive. Now...it is your turn to die..." Gigan hissed, the visor on the alien titan's face starting to glow. The three winglets on its back also began to glow red with energy, making Gigan start to float in the air slowly. The MUTOs that accompanied him either snarled and beat their wings to take flight and hover, waiting for the order to attack from their leader.

There was no turning back, Akane thought to herself, yet she cast the worries aside and readied the weapons on Shiryu. Mothra gave a shrill shriek as she extended her wings out, the glow from her scales brightening as an intimidation display. Gojirin gave out a challenging roar, while Anguirus bellowed out loudly and angrily. Akane made Shiryu give out their mechanized battle roar while she readied the laser cannon on the shoulder. Gigan's visor began to glow, and suddenly the alarm systems blared in the cockpit as a high energy buildup was detected. It was coming from Gigan, and Akane knew that it was preparing for a powerful attack. Gigan gave out a loud screech before it fired its red laser at Shiryu and the titans, the laser streaking towards them. Akane gave a frightened shout and pulled the trigger, firing the shoulder laser cannon before she had the chance to properly aim. The laser from Gigan crashed into the base of the hill where Shiryu and the titans were standing, making it crumble down. Gojirin and Anguirus gave out sharp yelps of surprise as everyone fell down with Shiryu, the rocks crumbing down as dust spread around. They crashed down to the stone ground, a few boulders hitting the titans as they quickly tried to recover. "Damn it..." Akane groaned as she recovered, doing her best to move Shiryu free itself from the pile of rubble.

The radio picked up the signal from command center trying to contact Akane, and she quickly picked it up. ["Akane, are you alright?"] Colonel Togashi asked with concern in his voice. "I'm fine. Gigan's laser attack...it's very powerful." Akane said, watching from behind the dust in order to keep an eye on the alien titan's location. Gojirin and Anguirus slowly recovered as they dug themselves out from the rubble. ["We will send the special heavy package to you quickly."] Colonel Togashi said, but Akane stopped him. "No! Cancel that order. We can't use our most powerful weapon yet. Send the electromagnetic rifle instead" she said, remembering that Gigan was most definitely hearing their conversation. If Gigan were to get notice of the heavy railgun, he would probably go to the surface and destroy it before Akane got the chance to retrieve and get it ready. ["Understood. Argo one! Launch the package on the portal now!"] Colonel barked to his men so they would carry out the order.

In order to gain time for the rifle package to arrive, and to keep Gigan and the MUTOs distracted, Akane locked on to the alien titan and fired a couple of missiles from the dust cloud. The cover was used to hide the movement and attack from Shiryu from Gigan. The missiles streaked up before diving down towards the alien titan. Gigan watched this and then was seen firing its laser at the missiles. Some were taken down, while a few others continued their advance before impacting Gigan and the MUTOs. As predicted by the scientists, Gigan had an invisible energy shield protecting its body like a sphere. The MUTOs didn't have such defense as the missiles hit them and exploded, stunning them momentarily before they recovered. When the smoke cleared, Gigan was seen still hovering above the ground, its eye visor glowing menacing red.

Then, behind them, where the portal was, a rectangular object propelled by rockets burst out from the gateway and streaked up across the air, heading towards Shiryu. Gigan noticed this and charged its laser before firing at it, hitting the package that was in flight. The package exploded, but not before it opened and ejected the contents out from inside. It was the electromagnetic assault rifle, and Akane reached out with Shiryu's hand to grab it. In no time it was loaded with the magazine that contained the specialized rounds. Now...Akane was ready for true battle. Gojirin, Anguirus, and Mothra readied themselves again once the dust began to settle, standing beside Shiryu's sides. Akane looked at each of them and gave a smile, before looking back at Gigan and the MUTOs with a fierce expression. Then she made Shiryu give out another battle roar before starting to charge towards the alien titan, the titans on the mechagodzilla's side giving their roars and following. Gigan screeched as it flipped out its sword pincers and flew straight towards them, while the MUTOs either stomped or flew forwards to follow right behind him.

Both groups tore through the grounds of the Hollow Earth realm, ready to clash against against one another to begin the battle.
