Pretty soon she was in her room, where she untransformed, and collapsed on her bed in exhaustion.

"Oh geez, what an exhausting day" She groaned "geez I- How did Venom even get akumitized, he's a Kwami! Shouldn't he be like, immune or something?"

Tikki floated up and sat on Matinnette's Pillow, right next to her face;

"Well Marinnette, Kwamis are living creatures with emotions, just like you, we're just as susceptible to being akumatized as anyone, we just need the right emotional charge" Tikki explained.

"Like being taken from a miraculous holder?"

Tikki nodded "mhm"

"Well, do you think this is going to happen again, I mean, I can't just leave miraculouses in the possession of people for too long, we can't have another Chloe incident" Marinnette worried aloud, throwing her arms in the air dejectedly.

"Hmm, I don't think it'll happen again, most of the Kwamis are fairly emotionally resilient, Venom has always been a little different in that way, I didn't think he would get akumatized though, I thought he would understand what we were doing and why, I'm sorry for not trying to stop you Marinnette, it could have really prevented a lot of trouble" Tikki sighed.

"Well, at least it turned out alright in the end" Marinette admitted "The day got saved, and you know, I bet Master Fu will know what do do"

Tikki smiled a relieved sort of smile, and nodded in agreement.

Eddie quickly went down stairs and changed into his normal clothes again before walking out from the apartment and making his way to the guardian's home according to Venom's instruction.

Despite the occasional "Turn left" or "keep walking until you reach the corner" sort of directions, the walk was eerily quiet between the two, it was almost awkward.

Finally Eddie finally spoke up, whispering to Venom he said "Uh, hey, uh... I'm sorry"

He could feel Venom Perk up from beneath the cloth on his shoulder.

"I should've done more, in the first place, I, didn't do enough for you,, and in a way, I betrayed you, which I feel awful for" Eddie admitted.

"No, was not your fault, was mine"

"No-"

"Yes, my fault, I did bad, let my emotions take over" Venom explained.

"It's not your fault for having emotions, everybody does, and HawkMoth, he can be hard to resist when you're really upset about something" Eddie consoled "the whole situation could've been handled so much better, and it wasn't, I am partly to blame for that, soo, yeah, I'm sorry"

Venom nodded, quickly saying "I'm sorry as well"

It was just a little more time before they entered a building, and just a little more time before they stood in front of a door to an apartment.

The teen took a deep breath, letting Venom float into one of his hands, while he grabbed the miraculous out of his pocket with the other hand.

Both of them felt a numb sadness naw at them.

"H-hey, we'll still be able to be together sometimes, we can take what we get from that" Eddie tried to lighten the situation "right?"

Venom had no response, instead quietly nodded.

"Okay..." Eddie carefully knocked on the door "Hello?" he called.
