Ladan: We're finally back!

Eric: Been long enough

Ladan: yeah...I've had a lot of things I needed to think about for the future of this story. it took a lot of long nights and crazy midnight/shower thoughts to figure out how it's all gonna play out.

Eric: so why are you sharing that with us?

Ladan: because...although I had originally wanted to make the ending portion of this super detailed and longer, I kinda decided to make it a bit quicker.

Eric: What do you mean 'quicker'?

Ladan: I'm sorry, but I have to rush things. but I'll try my best not to make anything feel rushed or...forced.

Eric: Forced?

Ladan: I said NOTHING

Eric: Mhm, suuurrrrreeeee

Ladan: Whatever, on with the chapter!

Mari's POV

About 2 weeks have gone by. We were really close to our destination, only about a few miles away. My stomach grumbled. We've barely eaten enough to have energy for monster fighting. We have had a lot of fights recently against monsters.

I almost died!
So did Adrien!
Heck, we all almost died! Multiple times for that matter!

"How much longer?" Nino grunted. "I'm hungry"

"Not much longer now" Kaden sighed for the millionth time since Nino started asking that question 2 hours ago, not stopping.

Ladan sighed as well, reaching into her bag a small amount of food. "This is it." she warned. "The last of our food till we get there" She split it evenly between us. "Eat it sparingly" We nodded, not knowing the next time we would get a chance to eat. All we knew was that first chance we get, we're going to a buffet or something and eat till we puke.

Now, if only there were no more monsters on the bus.

And too bad, it was a really nice and comfortable bus. I felt bad for wrecking such a nice bus because of a stupid monster.

Well...2 monsters. Hydras, to be exact, each fully equipped with 5 heads.

Kaden scoffed. "Hydras, great"

Ladan rolled her eyes at her twin's statement. "Don't sound so happy" she sassed as we got off the bus. The Hydras had been blocking the road so we were forced to stop. The driver said something about sitting patiently while he sorted out the problem.

Yeah, I don't think so. We made our way to the front of the bus.

"Oh! Demigods" One of the hydras spoke.

"Great, our lunch came to us" The other said.

"Wait wait wait...since when do hydras talk?" Eric asked.

"Maybe its a certain gene passed down?" Alya asked.

"Oh, we all can" Said the second.

"Most just choose not to" Said the first. "Makes it easier to go in for the kill."

"Or to be killed" Ladan smirked.

"Maybe so" The first said and nodded all 5 of its heads.

"Which is why we're trying something new." Said the second.

"Well well well, looks like we got some sly snakes we have to kill. I'll just, ya know, slither up behind one and attack." Adrien smiled at the words he thought were clever. I rolled my eyes and groaned, along with everyone else. On the road for 2 weeks caused us to talk a lot and get to know each other well between the times spent monster fighting, bus hoping, and sleeping. We were all victims of Adrien's pawful puns.

...Wait. GODS NO! Now I've started punning in my own head.

We all summoned our weapons as Kaden pulled out his. We had been getting pretty good at summoning our weapons, since we had lots of time to spend training, much to our annoyance.

"Can we hurry this fight up? I'm in the mood for a snack." One of the hydras glared at us with all of its heads.

"Likewise" Ladan smirked as we charged.

3rd person POV

The 7 of them were split up now. It was Eric, Ladan, Marinette, and Adrien against one and Nino, Alya, and Kaden against the other.

Marinette had gone to find a way to create a fire so they could properly chop off their heads. Eric and Ladan were trying to fend it off but kept tripping over its large tail that appeared out of nowhere. Funny, how when attacked by 5 heads, people forget that the monster they are fighting comes with a tail.

"I got that guys" Nino called, throwing his shield directly at the tail and chopped it clean off before rebounding onto his wrist as he continued to fight his hydra, who was already tail-less.

Adrien tried to sneak up behind it and smack it on the head, hoping to knock a head unconscious... too bad it didn't work. It only got angry and 2 heads directed their attacks to Adrien, who ran away screaming.

Marinette had come back in a crazy way. She had tied a stick that was on fire to her yo-yo and swung it, wrapping around and tying the two heads on Adrien together before slicing them clean off, also setting fire to it as she got the yo-yo back. She proceeded to do this for all the heads on both dragons, until they were all killed and turned to dust

"So guys, food?" Adrien asked in awe of his girlfriend, who looked even more badass than when she was Ladybug.

"Sure, I could eat" Alya commented and we all just laughed and continued to walk to our destination.

Ladan's POV

We were finally here. Somewhere in here was the Pecock Miraculous and its holder, which I have a good suspicion is Adrien's mom, Emilie.

But first, FOOOOOOD.

We were walking around and talking while we looked for a good place to eat. Somehow, we got to the point in talking about gay stuff, thanks to Eric noticing a lady with a real nice pride shirt.

"Guys...I've got something really important that I need to tell you." Kaden said in the middle of the conversation. What he said had caused a few surprised looks between us. "I've been thinking about it for a while and after going on a quest with you for soo long and bonding over the most frivolous things, I realize that I'm ready to come out of my shell a bit and say that I'm gay, knowing you'll all accept me."

"Umm, what?" Eric asked.

"You heard me"

"I KNEW IT!!!" I shouted.

"What? How?" Kaden asked.

"Well...I've been suspecting it for a while." I said. "It shows up in tiny hints and signs. Couldn't be more obvious you had a crush on a certain guy that I happen to know. His name is-"

"Sh-shut up!" Kaden said, flushed and covering his hands over my mouth.

He gave me a look and made me promise I wouldn't say anything about the subject when he let go. I nodded and he let go.

The fun part was that I couldn't say anything. Nothing stops me from communicating in different ways. I gathered a bunch of the nearby water in front of me just under my face but above my hands that were holding it up. I smirked and moved my hands apart with my palms raised, my fingers doing the two-finger point so the wording could have a slight arc to it.

It read, 'You have a crush on Eric, don't you?'

Everyone but Kaden had gasped, my twin turning away and trying to deny it. Eric had gasped louder than most, his hands covering his mouth and eyes wide.

"Its true, isn't it?" I asked and sent the water away. Kaden came to terms with the truth being out and turned towards us, nodding.

"Does it make it better if I say that I like you too?" Eric said, coming up to Kaden, who looked at him with hopeful eyes.

"Y-you mean it?" Kaden asked. Eric nodded.

I don't think I've ever seen Kaden soo happy before, and Eric was really happy too. And its all thanks to me bending the rules! But I'm not letting it get to my head...much.

Eric tried to give Kaden a hug, momentarily forget that Kaden was shy, especially when coming in contact with people. "Is this okay?"

"Y-yeah" He sighed, hugging back.

"Hey guys, look! That looks like a good place for food" Nino pointed to a place that all of us could agree on.

We went in and it was open seating, so I pushed Kaden and Eric into a small booth so they could have a small date-type thing. We then took a spot to sit, not too far away from them, but just out of hearing range.

We were talking, but my attention was more focused on Kaden and Eric's 'date' to make sure it had gone well. It looked like it had.

When we finished, there just had to be an akuma attack. We all rushed to transform, but when we arrived to fight the akuma, it was already defeated?

"Is that all you got Hawky? You've been slacking lately" Someone yelled to the sky as the akuma was purified and everything was restored. All we saw was the back of her, but I'd know that feathered cape and blonde side ponytail anywhere.

"Ms. P!" I yelled and slid down the roof and jumped to the one she was on, as she was making her exit. I could hear Eric follow closely behind. She turned to face us just before we practically tackled her in a hug.

"Delphine? Leon? Wow, its been soo long!" Ms. P smiled and hugged us back. "What are you doing here? What's going on?" She said the last question as the others landed on our roof.

"Well, we came to find you and take you with us. And these are a new generation of miraculous users" Eric said.

"Hi." Marinette said. "My name is Marinette, this is Alya, Nino, Adrien, and Kaden." Kaden had climbed up the fire exit stairs when he noticed there was no akuma for us to fight.

"Well, since Mari revealed herself, I guess we should too" I said and detransformed. The others followed. "I'm Ladan and this is Eric"

"Umm...should I detransform to? I've never revealed myself before" Ms. P asked. I shrugged and she detransformed. "My name is Emilie"

"No. Way." Alya muttered as everyone looked at her in shock.

"I KNEW IT!!!" I shouted. "Wow, I'm on a roll today!"

"M-mom?" Adrien asked.

"Adrien, right? As in Adrien Agreste?" Emilie asked.

"Mom!" Adrien cheered as he ran to hug her and she hoisted him up.

"Oh my, how much you've grown! Last I saw you, you were going through puberty"

"Do you got pictures? Cause I'd like to see that" Nino intervened on their little reunion.

"Why'd you have to leave?" Adrien asked.

"I didn't want to, but it was two dangerous for both of us to live under the same roof, especially after your father...turned." Adrien gave her a confused look, so she sat down on the roof to explain. We all sat in a semi-circle and listened. "Well you see, I came all the way here to try to avoid the demigod and monster ordeal. I was just fine with akumas. And there were some really close calls with monsters before. It was hard on me, trying to protect my child while not having the proper training. Especially when 2 people born of different Olympian gods lived under the same house. Adrien, there's something I need to tell you, I'm a child of Apollo"

"Called it" I said with a smirk to Eric.

"It was especially hard on me after your father, turned"

"Why do you keep using that term?" Kaden asked. "What does it mean?"

"Well, how do I put this...Gabriel Agreste is Hawkmoth"

Everyone gasped, before turning in sync to glare at me. They seemed to be waiting for me to probably shout 'I KNEW IT!!!' or something, but I was just as stunned. I told them just as much and Emilie continued.

3rd Person POV

"Gabriel was a good man, he was nice and cared about life." She started.

"That doesn't sound like the dad I know" Adrien said.

"That's because you didn't know the man I knew" She paused, figuring out how to explain. "You see kids, when a demigod gets a miraculous, they become stronger and learn to control their powers faster. But, when a mortal comes into possession of one, it changes them. It turns them cold, dark, wanting to be all-powerful. Their weak brains get easily overcome with power and that's why they become evil. That's another reason I had to leave, your father was suspecting that something was different about me, so I decided that I had to leave. Master Fu helped me make it easier to leave when he forced us to move to Paris. At the airport, I had planned to take Adrien with me, who was only 13 at the time. But I think Gabriel had suspected for me to try something like that. He wouldn't let go of you until he got on the plane. So in the end, I had to go. It wasn't safe for me to stay by you, no mater how much I wanted to. So I found the next best thing. A while before that, I had befriended a nymph, whom you know as Natalie. I had asked her to watch over you, protect you from your father, and keep you safe. And I see she has done a very good job raising you to be a handsome young man."

Adrien blushed as he made eye contact with Marinette, who gave him an amused look after Emilie's last words.

"But Delphine-I mean, Ladan, why did you need to find me?" She asked.

They all took turns while explaining the prophecy and stuff, intervening each other at appropriate and inappropriate times alike.

"Well, it seems like you've done well soo far on your quest, but do you know what the 2nd to last line means? It seems like you haven't gotten to that part yet"

"Hmm...'And defeat the one who someone calls their family...defeating one's family" Ladan started.

"Has to be one of our family members, obviously" Alya said. "But all my sisters are too young to be a bother to the gods, and my parents wouldn't do such a thing."

"It sounds to me like it's you immediate family, like parents and siblings" Nino said.

"And not your godly parent either, since it's a new enemy" Eric added.

"My parents are the nicest things in the world" Marinette said. "So it can't be my family. Plus, I think that if it were a demigod, they would have already made enemies with the gods, wouldn't you think?"

"Yeah. I mean, they had 2 big wars that they could've risen to power against the gods. If it was a demigod, they would've done it already" Kaden said.

"So, lets see. Alya's out, Marinette's out. I think I'm out as well dudes" Nino said.

"Me too, my family is all either too old or too young to make an enemy with the gods" Said Eric.

"Mom would never do that. Would she?" Kaden asked. "I mean, our brother and dad are too blinded by the mist so they're out."

"Mom's always praised the gods. And you've got a point. They can't be influenced by the mist in any way, shape, or form. They have to know of the gods' existence." Ladan said. "Which means...Alya, Marinette, Nino, Eric, Kaden, and I are out. And that leaves..." She trailed off as everyone turned to look at Adrien.

"I'd like to say no, but it has gotta be...right?" Marinette said uncertainly.

"Yes, I think we all understand the last lines of the prophecy now" Emilie said solemnly. "We have to defeat Gabriel Agreste."
