All alone in a cage in a dark room, Daisy was laying on the floor in a ball. She felt cold and terrified. Her long brown hair partially covered her tear soaked face. Hugging herself to keep warm, she closed her eyes, wondering what was going to happen to her.

That's when she heard something coming closer to the room.

"Who's there?" Daisy asked, sitting up. Her heart pounded in her chest as she watched the door fearfully. She was truly frightened. She was thinking that Sergei was coming back to finish her off or something. While her panic continued to rise, the noise was getting louder. Something was running over to the room. And then it finally arrived. Surprisingly though, Daisy didn't scream when she saw what it was.

It was her friends.

"Daisy! We're here!" Snowball cried in leash form. Morphing back to his normal form, he rushed over to the cage. Having been dragged around by Tiberius, a terrified looking Chloe took a seat. The bird monster paced back and forth, shaking his head. Entering the room at last, Ozone wheezed while he clutched his side, "Huzzah... we found her..."

"Guys, what are you doing here?" Daisy asked. She was so happy to see her friends. Smiling at her, Snowball remarked, "We monsters gotta stick together, right?" Walking up to the cage with a weird device he had just built in one minute, Ozone aimed it at the door and fired. The lock melted instantly, unlocking the cage. Freed, Daisy stepped out as she mumbled, "But I'm not a monster anymore guys, I'm... I'm normal again..."

"Hey, once a monster, always a monster," Chloe reminded Daisy. The cat monster padded over and pulled her into a hug, ruffling up her brown hair while doing so. She continued, "And we'll always be there for each other." Smiling at the thought, Daisy replied, "Thank you guys. How's Norman doing?" Everyone cringed when they heard the question. Noticing how they were giving each other and her nervous looks, she asked, "What?"

"He's dead," Tiberius answered, his back facing the group. Letting out a small gasp, Daisy looked over at the others. They all had their heads bowed in silence. Her heart breaking on the inside, she mumbled quietly, "I'm so sorry." Placing a hand on her shoulder, Ozone murmured, "It's not your fault. Any one of us would've sacrificed our lives to save another."

"Speaking of lives, we have a whole world to save guys. Did you all forget?" Chloe remarked, leading the way out of the room, only to encounter an army of robotic wolves that were waiting for them.
