Cheers broke out. The battle had been won. Gazing down at his audience below, Norman squeaked happily. It was at that moment when the other monsters finally noticed that he was wearing an angel costume. Gasping softly, Snowball mumbled, "I didn't know we had a guardian angel..." Tiberius facepalmed when he heard that.

"Look!" Tiny cried, pointing up. Everyone followed his pointing finger. Candy was raining down from the sky. Another round of cheers broke out amongst the children as they ran to the streets with their bags. Following them, Ozone looked around for his swirly pop. He found it just as Princess picked it up. "Guys! I found a swirly pop!" she exclaimed. Watching, Ozone smiled softly.

"A break from work huh?" Gidget questioned, walking up to Daisy with Max and Pops by her side. Laughing nervously, the giant young woman replied, "Sorry, we weren't supposed to tell anyone." Waving it off, Gidget patted her best friend's hand as she remarked, "Hey, it's okay. We're just happy that you came."

"I'm happy I came too!" President Mel Pug's voice commented from above. Everyone looked up to see the President of the United States parachuting down from a passing military airplane. He was joined by his best friend Lieutenant Buddy Dachshund and General Rooster Welsh. Landing, the general declared, "Well done monsters! It smells like victory here!"

"I got more candy!" Duke declared, stepping out onto the front porch with a giant bowl. Seeing it, the kids came running over. Snowball was hot on their heels. Snickering, Ozone followed. Nearby, Tiberius played around with Norman and Hu. Chloe rolled her green eyes, though there was a small smile on her face. Watching everyone, Daisy smiled too.

It was a great Halloween night.
