This entire week of school we had more preparations for our finals, in two weeks we would start the finals.

It was now Thursday, I got dressed as I waited for Dane to pick me up, I had proceeded to ignore Marcus all week, whenever we were in the same room together, suddenly we would argue and my brothers were tired of it.

I told Claire everything and so she shot him daggers everytime she saw him.

Serena as well, I stayed over at hers for most of the week, but she had a lot going on as well.

A motorcycle honked and I grabbed my phone and ran downstairs. "Bye!" I shout out as I made a run for the door.

But a body blocks me, I look up and see Jake with crossed arms. "Where are you going?" He asks with a stern look.

He sees my outfit and scoffs. "It's a school night, Alex. Go back upstairs" Jake says.

"It's fine, I'm just going out with some friends, I won't be back late, I promise" I say and Jake tilts his head and he nods with a sigh.

"You're just gonna let her go?" Terry asks surprised. Then I see Marcus behind him, I scoff at the sight of him before turning to Jake.

"You know that's Dane out there picking her up" Marcus says before leaning against the doorway. I clench my jaw and resist the urge to scream at him.

"What are you doing with Dane?" Jake asks me. "Nothing, we're friends if you didn't forget" I retort with an eyeroll.

"A friend she disappeared with for an entire night" Marcus added from the sideline.

"You done?" I snap at him. He makes a mocking face at me as he crosses his arms, while leaning agaisnt the doorway.

"I will be fine, I won't be home late. Okay?" I say to Jake. "Fine, call if you need anything" Jake says and I nod before going past him, but not before flipping Marcus my middle finger.

Terry and Claire snorts, while the other two remains quiet. I run out and get on Dane's motorcycle behind him.

"Hey, Beautiful" Dane says with a soft smile. He was cute.

"Hey, Dane" I say and take the helmet he handed me, I put it on before wrapping my arms around his waist.

"You ready?" Dane asks and I nod. "Yup" I say popping the 'p'. I smile as he takes off, I felt a bit more free with Dane.

Dane pulled up at his friends house, I was confused, his friend was having a big party. I was not ready for that, in any way. It's a thursday..

"We'll just stop by here for a bit, if that's okay?" He asks and I nod as he turns to see my response.

"Sure" I say and get off. I pulled my leather jacket closer as well as the hoodie I wore undernearth.

Dane slips his hand into mine and I blush a bit, before letting him take me inside.

We're greeted by drunk teens, vomiting people, people doing coke, smoking weed, and then some playing by the pool table.

Many emotions ran through me and I didn't feel comfortable at all.

But I continued as Dane pulled me after him excitedly. I swallowed the lump in my throat and put on a smile as Dane's friends greeted us.

"Hey guys, this is Alex" Dane introduced, I greeted his friends and already forgot their names.

"Get a drink!" One of his friends said and urged us to the kitchen, where they had put up drinks and covered the whole kitchen counter.

"Let me mix something good for you" Dane said and rubbed his hands excitedly, he started to pretend he's a bartender and proceeds to spill vodka everywhere.

"Just one, I have school tomorrow" I tell him and he snorts. "Sure, drink this" He says and hands me a red cup with a mixed liquid in it, I hesitate but as I see he's waiting for me to try it, I take a sip.

"Not bad" I say and smile at him, he smirks before backing me up against the kitchen counter, he dips his head down and crashes his lips onto mine.

"You're so fucking sexy" Dane retorts as he pulls away, he takes a sip of my drink and I giggle.

"You're delusional" I retort and Dane just smirks before leaning down to kiss me once again, this time he deepens the kiss and I feel him getting more eager.

"Hey, you two, we're playing pool, you're up Dane" Chris his friend shouts to us, we pull away and follow Chris towards the game area.

Dane is next up, he teaches me how to play, which I end up beating everyone of his friends in.

"That's it! That's the shit!" Dane shouts before stumbling drunkenly into me from behind.

I play it off with a laugh before turning to Caroline who I was currently playing, she gives me wink and I laugh at her.

Suddenly my phone goes off and I raise an eyebrow, I pull it out and step aside as I see Serena's name.

"Hey, can you take over for me? I need to take this" I tell Dane, he grabs the stick before scoffing.

"What? Is it Marcus?" Dane retorts, I raise an eyebrow confused before shaking my head no.

"No, It's Serena? Why would Marcus call me?" I ask with a small laugh.

"He seems to block me everytime we're together" Dane says with a cold shrug.

"Dane, he's not gonna block us this time, we're far away, he wouldn't know. Besides we made a deal, he's not gonna bother us" I say and Dane smirks.

I answer Serena's call before making my way outside. "Hey, Rena, what's up?" I ask her confused.

"Marcus texted me, he was wondering if I was with you" Serena says with a loud laugh.

"What?" I say confused. Why would he do that?

"I told him no, then he asked if I knew where you were" Serena snorts.

"Wow, he's the one who said we shouldn't talk or have anything to do with each other, so now he's going to you? That's rich" I retort and wrap my free arm around my stomach, to get warm.

"Hell yeah, by the way where are you?" Serena asks and I look around.

"Well, Dane kind of brought me to a party, We're forty minutes away from my house, I don't quite know where we are" I say as I look around for a street sign.

"Oh well, you've turned into a baddie! 17 and partying on a thursday!" Serena half shouts excitedly.

"Yeah, apparently. I just wanted alone time with Dane, but this is fine too, I got some new friends here" I say and look back at the house.

"Good, how are you gonna get home?" She asks, my attention is stolen when I see a group of people in cars, shouting and holding bats.

"Ehm, Serena, I need to go. I'll call you—"
Somethings not right" I say and hang up.

I hurry inside as I see them stop their cars in front of the house. "Dane! There's a group of people outside, they're carrying bats and stuff" I tell him urgently, he laughs before brushing me off, but Chris hears and his eyes widen.

"Kill the music!" Chris shouts urgently and hurries through the crowd.

What was happening?

I see Caroline flirting with Dane and I frown as I walk up to him once again. "Dane, I want to go home" I say and tug on his arm as I watch the door, waiting for it to burst open.

The music stops and the door bursts open as I predicted. "Shit! Dane! LET'S GO" I shout at him and pull at him, Caroline laughs at me before pulling Dane into a tongue kiss.

I let go of him and cringe at the sight.

"Fuck!" I shout as people start running, I try to go out to the kitchen in attempt to find an escape route or a way to get home.

I call Serena hurriedly. "Rena! I need you! I have no way to get home, there's people here, they pulled up and now they're fighting, I don't think I can get out fast enough, please come and get me" I ramble as I see one of the guys receiving a hit to the face with a wooden bat.

"Coming!" Serena shouts. "Send me your location" Serena shouts.

I hang up and send her the location, I looked out of the window and saw some of them watch the front door.

I turned to the opposite window and saw it was free, I climbed out of it and I pressed myself up against the wall, girls escaped and guys who weren't the target were allowed to escape, I joined them in the crowd and I ran down the street.

Praying that Serena would find me soon.

I hid in the side of the street walk, not even fifteen minutes later I heard the sound of her familiar car, I showed myself and she sped up to get me, she raced past the crowd by the house and she turned the car, or more like drifted the car to the way she came from.

She jumps over in the seat and I jump in the drivers side and I race us away from there.

I barely had any time to think, I just had to get us out of there, I didn't think about Dane. I didn't think about how much I drank.

"Your brothers saw me race by, they were outside with Marcus, Stephanie and Claire" Serena tells me as she looked behind us the whole way home.

I didn't release the gas pedal once, I just had to get us away from there.

"I'll deal with them, thank you. Fuck, thank you so much, Rena. It was about to get really bad" I say and she squeezes my thigh.

"Of course, I know you would do the same" Serena says and I shoot her a small smile.
