'...Yes! Arceus, a thousand times yes, love!!!' Lillie yells excitedly.
You pull the ring out of your box and put it on her soft finger. Lillie gasps, quickly jumps up and kisses you passionately, and answering her kiss, your head rises up to the clouds.
You can still remember the feeling that went through you when she said the magical word 'yes', even to this day. And this day was going to be a very, very special one...

8 months later...

'Hmmmm...' You moan, waking up from your deep sleep. As always, Lillie is laying next to you, looking cute as ever. You slowly, quietly pull away your arm, that was laying around her. But before you get up, you take one last look at the love of your life.
'She's honestly the greatest, most beautiful person in the entire world, on the inside and the outside... I'm too lucky to be able to call her mine.' You think to yourself, and plant one last kiss on her forehead.
Leaving as quietly as possible, you close the door behind you, and head downstairs.

Ever since you bought your new apartment in Hau'Oli City, you've been happier and more mature than ever. No Mom around, having to rely on yourself and your fiancée more,... it was all very refreshing.
Life has been easy in Alola ever since the battle with Giovanni. Hau'Oli City even granted you the title of Honorary Citizen! Whenever you went outside, people wanted to take pictures with you anywhere, anytime. But most of all, you liked going out with Lillie. Visiting places together, catching Pokémon together, teasing her now and then,... Life has been amazing and it's mostly because of her.

Suddenly, the door opened! You quickly grabbed a Pokéball, but soon, a recognisable voice sounded loud and clear:
'Alola, cousin!!! Today is the big day, yeah? I can't wait, woo!'
You smile as you see Professor Kukui's head popping up from behind the door:
'It's good to see you too, Professor. Now be quiet and let's go, quick!'

'Alola, Y/n!' Hau says as he comes over to give you a bro hug. The tailor's house in Hau'Oli was pretty big and looked very stylish. All your male friends were gathered to talk with you while you got dressed in your costume. Blue, Red, Steven, Ash,... even Alf flew over from Kanto to come and attend the grand day!

Gladion comes out of the shadows:
'Y/n, are you sure you're ready? Marriage is a big deal.'
You smile at him:
'I definitely am! Your sister and I have been dating for a while now, and honestly she's perfect for me. I couldn't wish for anything better.'
Gladion grunts:
'If you ever hurt her, I'll-'
You laugh:
'Relax, mate! You know me, right? I love Lillie with all my heart, she's the one for me. Don't you trust me after all this time?'
Gladion slowly nods, and Blue jumps up and down:
'Y/n, I think there's been a misconception!'
While your tailor makes sure the costume is all set, you turn around to Blue:
'What now, Blue?'
'Well... when you're standing on that podium with this costume, you'll seem like the best trainer around... While everyone knows that's me!'
You chuckle:
'Oh yeah, everyone knows that's you... But once I send out Nebby, you run away like a chicken.'
'Pfff,' Blue says, 'I could beat your Solgaleo with my bare hands!'
You smirk:
'Wanna bet?' You say, pulling out your Pokéball. When Blue shrieks and runs into a changing room, everyone laughs.
Alf walks up to you next:
'Hey Y/n, I just wanted to congratulate you! You look amazing and I'm sure Lillie will feel like the luckiest woman in the world when she sees you.'
You nod nervously:
'I hope she will! Standing in front of all these people, declaring our love for eachother... It's going to be nerve-wracking for sure... but I want to do it, to show my eternal love for her... I just hope she's not too nervous!'

'Where is my comb???' Lillie shouts at Cynthia. She giggles and quickly runs through the Heahea City tailor's room. Dawn sighs:
'Lillie, you should try to be calm... You're marrying the man you love, after all!'
Lillie sighs:
'I'm calm! ... I'm just stressed because of all these people that are going to be watching me say "I do"...'
May giggles:
'Lillie, we're all going to be feeling happy and grateful for you and Y/n... You guys are like, the cutest couple in the entire world! Y/n is very lucky to have someone like you as his girlfriend, and wife, in a few!'
Lillie smiles:
'Yes... You're right. Oh my Arceus you have no idea how scared I was when I woke up and he wasn't there next to me... it's been a long time since that has been the case. But hey, soon I'll see him again, and we're going to be more bonded than ever...'
All the girls huddle up closely and give a big group hug:
'We love you, Lillie! Make us proud!'
Blushing, Lillie straightens her back and walks out of the room, wearing her beautiful white wedding dress. Outside, President Lusamine was already waiting, shining from tip to toe. Once she sees Lillie, she goes up to her and wraps her in a big hug:
'Arceus, Lillie, you look beautiful!!! I can't believe it...' Lusamine sighs, bursting into tears. Lillie smiles:
'It's alright, mum, don't worry. I love you.'
The beautiful woman smiles:
'Hehehe, I know... I love you too. Now... are you ready?'
Nodding, Lillie steps into the car with her mum, and soon, both girls drive off, to Hau'Oli beach where the wedding was about to take place...

The beautiful Hau'Oli beach was decorated with flowers, wedding arches, and torches to provide the light. By the time everything was set and everyone had been gathered, the sun was already setting, which made the ceremony look even more beautiful. You, however, would only have eyes for your gorgeous bride.

When all the family members, friends and staff had arrived, Kahuna Hala steps up, onto the podium:
'Ladies and gentlemen, good evening to all! Today is a very special day, in both the history of Alola as well as the lives of the two young, brave people we all know and love, Y/n and Lillie, whose hearts and souls will now become one. As Kahuna of this island, I will conduct this ceremony. Uhum...
Dearly beloved... We are all gathered here today to join this couple in holy matrimony... I ask Tapu Koko to bless this holy ritual and the couple on their beautiful wedding day... And now, come forth, the groom, everyone!' Hala shouts and points in your direction, and out you come. Wearing a traditional black Alolan wedding costume, you smile at Mom, as you walk past her. Wiping her tears away with a handkerchief, she smiles back at you. Gladion, Hau, Kukui, Blue, Alf, Lance, Steven,... All your male friends except for Red shouted 'WOOOO!' as you entered. Laughing, you step onto the podium, and Hala puts a firm hand on your shoulder:
'Welcome, Y/n, Champion of Alola!' He yells, and everyone cheers.
'How are you feeling?' He quickly asks, and you smile:
'Excited to see my beautiful bride!' You exclaim, and everyone cheers again. Hala laughs:
'So is everyone here! Then let's not keep you in suspense any longer! Come forth... the bride, ladies and gentlemen!!!'

With the classical "here comes the bride" tune played by your hired band in the background, Lusamine appears, arms locked with... Lillie! She looked absolutely stunning, and your eyes almost dropped when you saw her. Her makeup looked amazing, her hair was beautifully done, and her gown matched her body and curves perfectly, without revealing too much, as suited her. Staring into your eyes all the time as she walked closer and closer and vice versa, it's like you lost all track of time and space. Before you knew it, the love of your life was standing right in front of you:
'Hi honey!' She whispers, barely able to contain her excitement. The desire to kiss her or wrap her into a hug was so intense, but you managed to contain yourself and just grabbed her hand firmly, clenching a bit harder now and then as to let her know everything is going to be okay.
'Hi honey,' you say quietly, 'you look gorgeous!'
Lillie blushes, and Kahuna Hala chuckles:
'The groom and the bride, everyone!!! Let's give it up for our favourite couple!'
Everyone cheered louder than ever now, which made you blush as well.
'Who is giving away the bride?' Hala asks, and Lusamine smiles, almost crying:
'I am.'
Hala smiles:
'Very well. Now, I think it's time for readings!'

Hau came forward, and looked at the crowd intensely, before looking back at his paper:
'A long time ago, I started my Pokémon journey with Y/n. He and I have been friends for Arceus knows how long, and he never ceases to amaze me. His cleverness, his battling potential, his tactics... I always wanted to battle him, because I wanted to see if I could grow as strong as him, you know? But it's not his skill as a battler that made me like Y/n, no, it was his skills as a person, that made me, and many others, adore him. His ability to turn horrible situations around, his kind heart and his stubbornness to fix problems... Y/n always wants the best for everyone, and honestly, anyone would be more than lucky to be able to call him their husband, and Lillie... I couldn't imagine a better wife for Y/n than Lillie. As we embarked on our journey, Lillie was the Professor's assistant. However, as time went by, it became easier to see that there was a clear spark between Y/n and Lillie, and it continued to grow, every day... From talking to both of them, I know exactly how much these two mean to eachother. They would do anything for eachother, go through fire for eachother, even die for eachother... I wish them all the best in the world. Thank you.'

Almost tearing up, you give Hau a quick bro hug, and Lillie gives him a kiss on the cheek:
'That was amazing, man, thank you so much!' You whisper to your buddy. He smiles back and then quickly walks back to his chair in the sand.

After this, Alf, Blue,... even Professor Kukui gave a speech! However, none of them were as special as the last one, made by your soon to be brother-in-law: Gladion.

'Uhum...' He coughs, before slowly looking up at the crowd:
'As you all know, I knew Lillie ever since she was born. I knew her as a kind-hearted soul, always seeing the good in everyone. I have loved and will always love her with all my heart. However, since she was a child, I remember she was very scared of Pokémon, and she was really shy. She was very codependent and didn't know how to handle anything by herself. However... When I headed on my Pokémon journey, and Lillie went on her journey with Y/n and Hau... I barely recognised her every time I saw her! It's like every time I was gone, she became more independent, and more confident. She faced any challenges head on, and she wasn't even scared of Pokémon anymore! I soon also realised, just like Hau, that Lillie and Y/n had a special bond, a bond like I've never felt with anyone before... an unbreakable bond. This bond gave her the confidence to be herself, to be who she wants to be... and part of that is thanks to Y/n. Y/n, at first I saw you as a rival, a challenge for me to prove to myself I could get stronger. However, despite not saying things like this much, I, and the others, love you very much for what you've done for the world, for my sister, and for who you are as a person. You're the best brother-in-law and friend someone could ever have. Thank you.'

Everyone cheers, and you give Gladion one last hug before you take a deep breath: you knew it was time for the rites. You grab both of Lillie's hands and look her deep in the eye:
'Lillie, love... Ever since the day we met, I knew you were someone special. And after spending more and more time with you, I realised that what I felt about you is the realest thing in the entire world. Time and time again you have proven to me how amazing you are, you have shown yourself at your most vulnerable for me, and I can't thank Arceus enough for letting you into my life. We've been through so much together, good and bad, but I would do everything all over again a million times if it takes us to the point where we are now. I've always fantasised about how this day would be, marrying you, but the reality exceeds even my wildest dreams. You know... when I was little, my mum always told me that a successful marriage required falling in love many times. I never understood what she meant by that, until this morning. I thought about it a lot and I realised, she meant falling in love many times, but always with the same person! And she's right. You have proven to me time and time again that she is. I've already fallen in love with you a thousand times, and I don't think the teller will ever stop. I love you with all my heart, Lillie...'

In tears, Lillie smiles at you weakly, before reciting her own written text:
'Y/n, honey... I don't even know where to start. You're the love of my life, and I... I've always loved you. Ever since our adventure together, I've loved you from the very beginning. When I left Alola to be with my mother... It was like my heart broke into a thousand pieces. But even though I left for what seemed like an eternity... you were right here, waiting for me to return. You heart didn't falter, not for a single moment... You've always been loyal to me, even during my worst times. You've always been the kindest, sweetest, and bravest person I've ever known. You've put your life on the line for me more times than I can count, and know that I'd do the same for you in a heartbeat. All of my heart, my body and soul is yours forever. I love you, Y/n.'

Everyone sighed of happiness, and you could see Lusamine grabbing your mum's hand as they were both tearing up. With everyone applauding, you smile at Lillie and she smiles back at you, happier than ever.
Hala laughs:
'Aren't they the cutest?! Well then...
Y/n, do you take, Lillie, for your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health?'

You nod:
'I do. With all my heart.'
Lillie stares at you with her beautiful puppy eyes, and she looks cuter and happier than ever. Hala now turns to Lillie:
'Lillie, do you take Y/n for your lawfully wedded husband, to love and cherish from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health?'

Everyone held their breath as Lillie was quiet for what seemed like ages. Then suddenly, a big smile appeared on her face:
'I'm kidding, of course I do!'
The desire to hug your gorgeous bride was insane, but you contained yourself for a few more seconds. Hala smiles:
'Then let the ring bearer come forth!'
Blue appears on the wooden pathway that was made on the sand for this special occasion, carrying an open box with the two beautiful platinum rings:
'As the inventor of the Fellowship, I thought it'd be only fitting for me to be the ring bearer.' He whispers to both of you quietly. You both chuckle, and thank Blue, before looking back at Hala. He puts a hand on both your and Lillie's shoulder:

'We gather here today to unite these two people in marriage. Their decision to marry has not been entered into lightly and today they publicly declare their devotion to each other. The essence of this commitment is the acceptance of each other in entirety, as lover,
companion, and friend. A good and balanced relationship is one in
which neither person is overpowered nor absorbed by the other, one
in which neither person is possessive of the other, one in which
both give their love freely and without jealousy. Marriage, ideally, is a sharing of responsibilities, hopes, and dreams. It takes a special effort to grow together, survive hard times, and be loving and unselfish...
Do you both pledge to share your lives openly with one another, and
to speak the truth in love? Do you promise to honor and tenderly
care for one another, cherish and encourage each other, stand
together, through sorrows and joys, hardships and triumphs for all
the days of your lives?'

'We do.' You and Lillie both say at the same time, and smile at eachother cutely.

'Do you pledge to share your love and the joys of your marriage with
all those around you, so that they may learn from your love and be
encouraged to grow in their own lives?' Hala continues.

'We do.' You both say, again.
Repeating Hala, you grab one of the rings:
'I, Y/n, promise to love and support you, Lillie, and live each day with kindness, understanding, truth, humour and passion. With this ring I thee wed.'
Putting the shining ring on your almost-wife's finger, her eyes light up. The ring suited her perfectly!

Lillie then takes the other ring, and while putting it on your finger, she repeats:
'I, Lillie, promise to love and support you, Y/n, and live each day with kindness, understanding, truth, humour and passion. With this ring I thee wed.'

Hala raises his arms:
'Go now then, in peace and live in love, sharing the most precious gifts you have... The gifts of your lives, united. And may your days be long on this earth. I now pronounce you husband and wife!!! You may kiss the bride.'

You finally release Lillie's hands and put them around her beautifully slim body. She leaps into your arms and kisses you passionately, even using a bit of tongue in front of all these people, showcasing her confidence. You've never felt so happy in your entire life... This moment would always stay with you, forever engraved in your heart...

Cyrus's POV

Grunting, you get up as you hear the cell keys jiggling: Alex was bringing you your daily meal again:
'Up you get, lazy bastard. Here's your food.'
You smirk:
'My dear Alex... won't you stay a while? I'd like to discuss something with you.'
Alex spits in your direction:
'Speak up then, quick! I don't want to miss the Champion's wedding, it's live on the telly right now.'

You stand up, and walk over to your food. The chains rattling behind you made it very difficult to move, however.
'Alex, I'm a rich man. I could give you anything, if you would just let me out. Pokémon, coins, women,... it's all yours, if you just let me out of here...'

The servant laughs sadistically, and moves his face closer to yours mockingly:
'Fool, I'm loyal to lady Lusamine and the Champion. Don't ever think you can bribe someone like me.' He says, throwing the bowl with food at your feet, and turns around.

Quick as a snake, you lash out with your right arm! You put your arm around his head, and pull the heavy chain backwards, into the servant's skin. As he wants to scream, you put your left hand against his mouth fast. Muffling every sound, you manage to choke Alex fairly quickly:
'Now let's see what we have here... aha... Eureka!' You whisper, finding the keys to both the door and your chains.

Sneaking through the hallways, you eventually reach the storage room. Inside, you find your Pokéballs containing your favourite Pokémon, and one of those you needed for this situation specifically.

As the alarm went off, you could hear multiple footsteps getting closer. You quickly head into a bathroom and lock the door:
'Giratina, come out!' You whisper, and a shadow started to fill the room.
You nod:
'You know what you have to do...'
Suddenly, a dark circle started to form on the bathroom mirror!

As the door opened and the guards started pouring inside, the only thing they saw was your foot getting sucked into the black portal. A second later, every trace of you or the Legendary Pokémon was gone...

2 years later...

Gladion's POV

'Moon, love, would you like to head out? Sitting inside all day is so dull... I am almost starting to miss fighting Cyrus!' You say, laying on the couch. The girl you fell in love with not too long ago laughed and came sitting on your lap:
'I know something to help with that...' She smiles naughtily, and kisses you passionately. Suddenly, the door opened!

'Alola, brother!' Y/n exclaims, before getting slightly red.
'Oops, are we bothering?' Your sister asks, but you smile:
'It's all good! How was your time in Lumiose City?'
Lillie chuckles, giving Y/n a quick kiss:
'It was amazing! They have so many nice stores and beautiful architecture there! Y/n chose the perfect place for our honeymoon 2 years ago, and going back there again after all that time definitely felt like coming home. Maybe you two lovebirds should also go there sometime!' Lillie winks.
Y/n puts an arm around her:
'Yeah, you definitely should,' Y/n chuckles, but then frowns, 'actually, we came here quickly after arriving on the island to tell you guys some news...'
Moon's eyes light up:
'What news?'
Lillie giggles nervously:
'Well, uhhh... Y/n and I thought it'd be... time... and uhh... well...  I am with child! It's a boy!'

Cheering, you and Moon jump up from the couch and hug your sister and your brother-in-law tightly:
'Oh my Arceus, that's amazing news,' you sigh, barely able to contain the excitement, 'what's his name going to be?'
Y/n hugs Lillie and gives her a long kiss, before smiling:
'Star. His name will be Star.'

So, there we go! The definite final chapter (for real this time) has been written and published, and that concludes Y/n's story.
