Third person

The weekend soon came around and Fritz had gone to pick up Brad and Chet. The two were obviously stupid enough to go along with his dastardly deed.

Scott had just arrived to his companion's home to spend another afternoon with him. The Naga made him happy and gave him a reason to get up in the morning.

But Scott was slowly starting to realize that he wanted more than friendship from his serpent friend. Would Vincent actually be willing to have a romantic relationship with a human? It would be hard, but that's the simple truth for every couple.

The brunette blushed lightly as his thoughts. Was he actually crushing on his best friend? And would Vincent actually share these feelings for him too?

He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly and glanced to the other side of the cave. Vincent noticed the other seemed uncomfortable and cleared his throat.

"What'ssss wrong Ssscott?" He asked, being curious on why his friend seemed more anxious than usual.

The brunette ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. He knew he wasn't going to be able to keep his feeling for a secret much longer. If he didn't tell Vincent now he knew he would just blurt it out later.

"I just... I really like you Vincent... I like you more than a friend and I figured I should tell you that... I'm sorry if I made things awkward now..." Scott explained softly, looking down at the ground.

Vincent smiled and chuckled softly, pulling the brunette closer. Scott blushed at the action and looked at the other.

"I really like you too Ssscott, more than a friend. You didn't make thingsss awkward. I'm glad you told me." The Naga replied, kissing the other's cheek.

Scott smiled and hugged Vincent, burying his face into the Naga's neck. He was happy that his feelings were mutual and that his heart wasn't shattered by a one-way romance.

That was probably one of Scott's biggest fears. He didn't like confessing how he felt to begin with, especially not if there was a chance of rejection. But now he was happy. He had told his first real crush that he had feelings, and the other's feelings were mutual.

The brunette couldn't be happier right now. However, because things were finally looking up, one thought crossed his mind: what if it didn't work out?

That was a possibility for any relationship, that was true, but Scott especially feared it for this one. He considered Vincent to be his first love. He didn't want to become a heartbroken mess, although if he were being honest, no one really wants that.

The brunette was too scared to talk about this. He didn't want the serpent to think he was hesitant about being in a relationship because of his thoughts. Not that Scott was. That's all he actually wanted.

Vincent smiled and teased the other's hair, having a newfound emotion. The emotion was love.

"I love you Ssscott..."

"I love you too Vincent..."
