maisy is a very sarcastic dog, and she often does not try

to cooperate when others are telling her rules. she also 

tends to not pay attention sometimes, and does not have a 

large attention span most of the time.  maisy inherited the 

slightly shyer genes from her father's side, so she sometimes

become a little bit anti-social and anxious when in large crowds

or is forced to talk to other dogs. she can run fast, but needs to 

work on her stamina, and although she is strong and very hot-

headed, she can sometimes falter, depending on the dog she's facing.

strengths

maisy is an amazing swimmer and herder. although she does

not now live near water, when she takes trips with her owner,

she is taken to a spot with either a lake, or an open field, as she 

loves to run and feel free. sally-mae is a very strong dog, and can pull

hardly, herd cattle very well with her demanding and startling bark,

and weave / run easily. she is also very persuasive, and uses this trick

to get her way most of the time with other dogs and her owner. 

personality

sally-mae tends to lean to the more introverted side, and she 

does not always like talking to others & trying to keep up a 

conversation. she does not like direct interactions at times, and 

becomes very flustered and shy with many conversations with 

strangers. sally-mae is a firecracker, though; don't let her sweet-

sounding name fool you, or her shy personality; when she is not in 

the presence of strangers, sally-mae will not hesitate to speak her mind. 

she is very outspoken, and does not often speak with a gentle tone. she

sticks up for those who deserve to be stuck up for, and will go against 

anybody that is fake or does not agree with her. she is very judgy, and 

tends to do so when she looks at people. she acts out of impulse, and 

sometimes does not think through her actions. she curses a lot, and can

easily hold a grudge until she dies. sally-mae can cut somebody out of

her life easily in a snap of her paw if she really needs to. she is tired of

being responsible for other people's actions, and doesn't really care 

anymore about what other people think. maisy will make fun of someone

or joke about something bad that happened to her in front of the dog

that did it to her just to be petty, but also so she can cope with what 

had happened, and to rub it in their face of what they're missing. dogs

don't often see this side of maisy, as she is generally quiet and doesnt 

speak much to strangers. dogs know not to mess with her, though. she 

is fiery and can outbreak within a second, but is also extremely protective

of her family, and the one whom she will become mates with. 

besides that part of maisy's personality, she is actually a very kind

dog. she takes pride in herself and how sweet she is to others at 

times. she is kind, generous, and helpful to other dogs, and it mixes

well with her fiery personality. it balances her out, although she still

has some of those outbreaking moments, and moments where she

cannot stay put without saying her emotions. she is incredibly stubborn,

too, but tries to agree with others. she is a natural born leader, but is 

very shy when she first meets others, and has to adjust first before she

can show her true personality. overall, she is a very generous and 

fun dog to be around. she is very in touch with nature and the outdoors,

and can be very over-logistical and overthink things. she worries a lot,

and gets deep into her feelings when outside with time to think.

backstory

maisy's parents met when their owners were at a bar in the 

deep west / south, and they ended up getting married and 

living together, both pairs. maisy was the youngest pup out of

her brothers and sisters. she was very good and sweet to be around

as a pup, and then she got a little older and evolved. she was taken

from her parents after being adopted & sold, now living with her 

one other sister who got adopted with her, betty-mae. her brother 

gunner lives on a farm near hers. she was trained to be a cattle dog,

and learned to love the country. she has competed in a cattle-dog

competition and won, and takes great pride in what she does, and

the love for doing it. sally-mae began to call herself maisy when other

dogs visiting or on the farm would get her sister and her confused, so

she wanted to make it easier for them to remember. 

maisy is a down-to-earth country dog, and wouldn't trade where

she lives or what she does for anything. maisy often is taken on 

roadtrips by her owners, and enjoys the sights, and running through

the mountains and open fields. she longs to be with nature, and also

is fascinated by her culture & origin, and western culture & ideas. 

she uses the nature to get in touch with herself, and the ideas 

that she has. she brings them to life when she is outside, and 

loves to take in the smells and the scents of the west.
